"Good campsite, not much going on in immediate area at night"
Pitch was good, bit far to walk to amenities. An additional small amenity block at far end would be good

Weather was good enough for the pool to remain open.

"Stay in a Tiny House in the Loire"
The house was adequate for 2 people for a week.

I was disappointed that the "shop" was almost non existent. Also that the pool was closed, and that the bar/restaurant had such restricted hours. I also felt that the campsite was surrounded by noisy things (e.g. the tennis court/basket ball court) which was noisy - and not particularly in keeping with a 'slow' village. We have camped at the site at Lacanau for many many years, and I have to say that there was simply no comparison at all.

it had everything you needed ... just in miniature!

No kettle. And I was also extremely disappointed that we had to pay an extra 55 Euro to have the house cleaned, or clean it ourself! I am on holiday so felt that cleaning was not really what I wanted to do, but felt that an extra 55 Euro was far too much. This cost should just have been included in the cost of the Tiny House, and we should just have been asked to wash up and throw the rubbish away.

Nice staff on reception

Grass pitches, only one shower block, no hot food available, pool closed, no access to female showers on one of the days.

"average site"
Not a great deal

Pitches a bit untidy, and rather small. Not a very relaxing or quiet stay. Music from the bar area too loud and late. Pool closed. Rubbish bins very smelly and too close to pitches. Although not part of the site, the bar outside the camping very loud and noisy. Overall, not a very 'Slow' village for relaxing.

"Great campsite. Great ethos. "
We upgraded our pitch to a bivouac tent. Delighted we did this as we were able to charge our bikes and keep our food chilled. However there was a shared kitchen area that we could have used. Food from the cafe was really enjoyable.

"A good location for cycling along the Loire"
Nice atmosphere. Good location. Very reasonably priced. Lovely fresh swimming in the filtered pool next door. Nice bar area. Peaceful.

Could do with some extra toilets and soap by the wash basins

"We had the worst stay and will never recommend. "
Both reception and manager listened to us but there was no other place available. One should never rent out that cabin again so so dirty and not safe. There wasn’t even a fire alarm which is illegal and I have to report

It was beyond bad and I will also make notice about this on google to let others know. Unfortunately we couldn’t get any other cabin but this cabin should never be rented out again

Nothing like the pictures, very very old and dirty and not suitable for a family

We disliked everything. The bar was noisy and the kitchen was right in our front garden. The staff even ditched the dirty dish water in the garden where my child was playing!!!
