Lovely views from the camping site. Small camping site and very helpful owner and staff.
Maybe better explanation information on the shower deposit scheme and the much appreciated services of the freezer and cooler that I did eventually find on site. The web site mentioned a bus service discount was available but nothing available when I asked for this information on the site. The recycle bin area could be easily improved.

The long walk from the town lake side walk to the camping site. A very steep hill!!

'd Orta lake is beautifull and not that busy as for instance lago Maggiore. Great area, many things to see and do. Good restaurant behind the camping.
The mobile home is somewhat out of date and some things were broken (parts of the fridge, toiletseat). Too many rules in the swimming pool.

We've had an enjoyable vacation at Camping Royal. The personnel is very friendly, I really liked the bar with the beer from the tap and the possibility to order bread until late in the evening.
The porch was very nice. Also the shower was good. Good thing it has insect screens! It was a cosy mobile-home, the airconditioning was also something I really liked.

Wir waren jetzt schon das vierte Mal auf dem Campingplatz und fühlen uns dort sehr. Die Ruhe ist herrlich, die Anlage sehr liebevoll gepflegt mit vielen Bäumen und die Aussicht auf den See sehr schön. Und das ganze Team ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Aus unserer Sicht schöne und ausreichend große Stellplätze. Sanitäre Einrichtungen in die Jahre gekommen aber immer sehr sauber. Ausgesprochen freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
Toller Seeblick und die höflichen weiteren Gäste
Kaum möglich zu verbessern: in der Region viele Hunde auf Grundstücken und abends langes Hundegebell. Die Tiere auf dem Campingplatz waren alle sehr gut erzogen und still.

Die Lage über dem Orta See abseits vom Trubel bietet Erholung . Der Stellplatz auf einem überschaubaren Areal vermittelt noch die Familiäre Atmosphäre. Das kleine Bistro am Eingang bietet Cafe und Bar mit Brötchenservice. Dann noch Pool (mit Badekappe), das müsste reichen für einen entspannten Urlaub in einer sehr vielseitigen Region wo im Umkreis vom 50 km noch so viel mehr zu entdecken ist. Andere mit dem Fahhrad wir mit dem Roller kommen überall hin und zurück. Das hat uns sehr gefallen. Da wir wegen Stau viel zu spät ankamen hatte uns die Rezeption die nötigen Unterlagen bereitgelegt!
Manches ist in die Jahre gekommen und bedürfte der Überarbeitung entspricht aber immernoch Preis Leistung.
Die Lage des Stellplatzes 46 mit Strom und der Wasserhahn am Platz war gut anzufahren. Mit dem 5,4m Camper waren wir so bestens versorgt und hatten gute Panoramasicht teils auch Seeblick. Kurze Wege zum Sanitärhaus.
Der Sanitärbereich ist für gewohnte Campingfreunde ausreichend sollte aber den heutigen Bedürfnissen angepasst werden. Steh-WC sind in Italien und Frankreich zwar oft noch Standard sollten aber ersetzt werden. Nicht jede/r ist dafür gelenkig genug. Also mehr moderne SitzWC wären eine echte Bereicherung. Der Stern kann eben nicht gegeben werden.

Die Sanitäranlagen waren von Abwaschen bis Wäsche waschen, Duschen, etc. vielfältig. Der Abschied verlief sehr gut und herzlich.
Ich bevorzuge normale Toiletten mit Toilettenschüssel, die hatte es für mich zu wenig. Die Ausstattung in den Sanitäranlagen war etwas kaputt und der Händetrockner ebenfalls. Der Shop hatte sehr wenig Produkte und nur das allernötigste, könnte etwas mehr sein. Der Pool ist nur bis 19.00 Uhr geöffnet, dies ist viel zu kurz, wäre schön wäre es bis 20.30 Uhr offen. Beim ankommen wurde bei der Rezeption nur ein Plan übergeben, wäre noch schön gewesen, wenn man noch auf die Möglichkeiten und Angebote in der Umgebung und auch vor Ort informiert geworden wäre. Ein etwas herzlicheres Ankommen.
Es war ruhig, nicht überfüllt, es hatte genügend Platz auf den Stellplätzen und diese waren sehr schön.
