This is a rural site about twenty minutes drive outside Carcassonne. The pitches offer both shade and sunshine. The showers and toilets are clean. There is a good market in the village on a Tuesday evening which is worth a visit.

Chalet was well equipped, comfortable and just right for us. campsite was well located and quiet.

The position of the campsite is absolutely great - just behind the beach - and the environment is lovely: trees, shade, quiet and friendliness. Most visitors are French, with strong German and Dutch contingents, but everyone is made to feel welcome. There's a small shop, with helpful staff, and a variety of food trucks visit during the season. Larmor Baden is within walking distance and has a lovely boulangerie and good markets (Wednesday and Sunday). The supermarket in Baden is easy to get to and has everything you might need,

Excellent site, perfectly positioned to explore the local area. The only downside, pitch perimeters are not marked out, as such gay abandonment, parking much too close etc, was all too common.

We arrived at the camp site in good time before closing hours and were met by a rude and unpleasant woman who wouldn't accept our ACSI electronic card but demanded us to present a physical card which we don't have. I tried to convince her that our membership of ACSI was ok, and that we had found their place via ACSI but it didn't work. After some further arguing she finally accepted, however, but with a very sour look and with the remark that, in future, we had better print it out on beforehand. I don't think, however, that having to do so is the meaning with an electronic card.

Fabulous facilities, super clean. Great access to beautiful local towns & lots on site also. Nighttime entertainment was incredible.
