The restaurant and the facilities and the location
Not sure what you can do about it but the camping pitch s where like concrete I totally devoid of grass

Location was great. Facilities were clean
The younger lady was really rude on reception, not pleasant at all. The facilities are very old. The water taps outside didn’t work properly. The whole campsite could do with a revamp it’s very outdated

The staff were all delightful and friendly Good location. The cleaners worked particularly hard to keep the shower block clean.
Shower block needs updating. It is adequate but could be much better. Campervans arriving and emptying grey waste whilst people queued for entry caused a serious backlog of traffic outside the site. Perhaps painted road markings around the waste area could help to direct campers around the easte area.

We enjoyed our time at Camping Bagatelle, the pitch was okay and the washing/toilet block was always clean. It enjoys a great location, on the Rhone with great views of the Pope's Palace and the old bridge.
Hopefully the roadworks outside the campsite will finish shortly, we followed the sat nav and ended up having to back up due the road being closed.
Good pitch, plenty of room and ours was flat.
Some of the site could do with updating, toilets and showers were cramped and a bit tired. The campercar service area was functional.

The only thing we liked was that it took only 10 minutes walk to the Center of the town.

Sanitary facilities needs desperate renovation. Also the pitches not good when wet and not sufficient 10 amp connections. The whole site needs modernising. Not a good image for Avignon.

Concerning your comment about the places, we had a lot of rain in January and February, that explains that you may had mud on your place. We wish to have greener places, that's why we do not want to put gravel. See you soon !

This was a real find. The cafe/restaurant was amazing and we ate there both nights of our stay. The people there were so friendly and helpful, providing an extension and adapters when ours turned out to be broken. Our site was right in front of the river and we found it so relaxing watching the water flow by. We'd definitely stay here again!
It had been very wet and it was a bit muddy, but what can you expect in December!

The pitches are good with plenty of shade. The facilities are ok and there is a shop and a very good restaurant. The location is amazing, opposite the city of Avignon with fantastic views. Was a good stop over lication
We ordered a croissant and pain au chocolate at the shop for the morning but when we went to pick it up there were no pain au chocolate
The pitch was a reasonable size for a large caravan and car

Pitches were very dusty and there were rats around. I suppose it’s inevitable being close to the river, but perhaps more could me done to control them.
