It was a first camping experience for us after many years and first ever for our 5 years old son, and we loved it! the place is beautiful, owners very helpful, and the vibe is outstanding. restaurant offer good food and variety of drinks so no need to take much with you. Please keep in mind that fishing rods nor fish bit is available to rent on the spot so plan accordingly. there is also a very week internet/mobile network cover - which actually was a good thing ;)
One minor negative thing which we experienced but which also could not be foreseen was an extremely loud group at the tent site - who after closing down the restaurant have moved the bbq and the party to the campsite where everyone else were sleeping ( or tried to sleep). Perhaps having stricter rules on maintaining the silence at the tent pitch could help. - but I assume this doesn't happens all the time ;)
everything was just as we expected, beautiful and secluded plots for tents - with electricity if someone needs it and with the well maintained bathrooms and showers

A very beautiful and tranquil campsite, with a stunning lake and very peaceful. Great place for walking too. Great facilities and the freshly baked pastries in the morning are a must!

Beautiful campsite. Quiet, secluded. Just what we wanted. Hosts were very friendly. Nice to see foxes and peacocks.

The camping is recently built and there is still much to do in the surroundings. The owners are helpful and willing to share their knowledge about the area. There are two lakes in the campsite, lots of green and little infrastructure. Go for a simple life while visiting the camp. Bring your dog, they are very welcome!
The cleaning of the toilets and showers could be more frequently done.
I like that it is very nature-focused, not many people around, no big and fancy attractions. Just enjoy the moment you are in. The place is very dog-friendly.
Bring your tent while there is sunlight, there are no lights in the camping area.

Beautiful camping, very natural and great nature. The new owners are really friendly and helpful. We saw a few foxes and had a beautiful hike in the surrounding forrest.
I liked that it was small and simple and surrounded by nature. Everything you need if you like to camp simple. Sanitary was clean.
The showers were too hot to stand under.

Our hosts were very welcoming. Delicious supper provided at late request. There were lots of activities available including horse-riding, trail bike riding all alongside the lakes & glorious forest paths & hills.

Thoroughly enjoyed a couple of nights at Fixycamp. The Welcome was warm, the food delicious and the site peaceful and pretty. Felt a million miles away from the rest of the world.
Nothing that detracted from our overall enjoyable experience.
Fun little cabin. Equipped with fridge and microwave, and a deck with table and stools for sitting out on. Just watch your head if tall!

Rust, natuur, eenvoudig, restaurant met bar, prachtig wandel- en fietsgebied en een schitterende uitvalsbasis voor stedenbezoek zoals Metz, Bar le Duc en Verdun.
Mogelijk wat herstel van achterstallig onderhoud maar heeft ook zujn charme.
Tent en auto: prima ruime plek met goede grond voor de haringen, prachtig grasveld, goede afwatering.

Je mag zelf je plek zoeken, ruime plekken zonder poespas. Geen telefoon/internet bereik op de camping: heerlijk rustig. Bij het restaurant wel.

Wat een heerlijk rustige camping. Natuur om je heen, lekker eten en drinken op een gezellig terras. Vriendelijke eigenaressen en een mooie omgeving voor fiets- en wandeltochten. Toiletgebouw is schoon.

Nous apprécions toujours le cadre idyllique du camping, votre accueil et les excellents repas proposés (simples mais faits maison!). Peter et Zeus sont de vrais mascottes que l'on adore retrouver. Des améliorations ont été réalisées depuis l'année dernière, par exemple au niveau des douches (supports pour les vêtements) ce qui est très appréciable.
Le seul point à améliorer serait peut-être un service de nettoyage plus régulier, les gens étant malheureusement trop peu respectueux (ce qui n'est pas de votre faute évidemment), notamment dans la partie sanitaires.
Petit chalet très sympathique dans lequel on a pris plaisir à séjourner. Possibilité de mettre le chauffage s'il fait froid. Lits confortables. Endroit calme et reposant.
Attention il y a un trou qui passe en haut de la porte, cela favorise le froid et l'humidité en cas de mauvais temps. Idée d'amélioration possible: des chaises longues pourraient être appréciées par les voyageurs qui apprécient souvent de bouquiner en terrasse.
