Staff great. Very helpful, a good team. Good for dogs. Pet friendly. Location perfect if you like the beach and what dog doesn’t! Pool super and bar alongside helps if you have a dog.
Pool open at 0900? And also could be open in September. Snacks could be available in June.
Pitches are a good size and quite private with hedges. Water and waste at each pitch is brilliant. A very well kept site overall. Some Rough land available (out of high season) for dog walks, though not ‘official’ it was convenient. Showers and toilets very convenient.
Nothing. All great with the camping. And ACSI! Brilliant. This was our second visit and we have already booked a third. Thank you everyone at Grand Large.

what an excellent campsite, lovely heated swimming pool, clean and heated toilet block, good sized pitches and a warm welcome from the staff with direct access to a beautiful beach.

The cleanliness of the campsite from the moment you entered. Beautiful pool and spotless sanitary facilities. Lovely to have been offered information about the area also. Steps from a lovely sandy beach. Only stayed for one night as a stop before heading home, but will definitely be back.
Hard to think of any. This is a very well organised campsite.
Privacy as the hedging is substantial on all sides. Great to have electricity, water and waste disposal on the pitch.

We have hired a cabin for the last 2 years. It is always perfect on arrival. Little extras such as washing up liquid, new washing up sponge and toilet roll for the first couple of days just in case you have forgotten to pack them, and of course the bottle of local Cider in the fridge is most welcome on the first hot evening

We have holidayed at le grand large for the past 22 years. As always the staff feel like family. The site is super clean. 2 lovely pools. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. This is a really brilliant traditional family holiday site. 5 stars. A massive thank you to all the staff at camping le grand large for making my holiday special.

Arrived having only booked night before. Lovely site, friendly staff, great pitch near the sea with clean spacious facilities, plenty of showers and hot water.. well kept surroundings with no litter and water on each pitch (that I could see). CAMC member but didn’t know this when I booked. Will definitely be returning.

The staff, from reception at check in to staff at the bar were excellent very friendly. Toilet and shower blocks were kept clean. The food in the snack bar is very good and the music entertainment was fantastic. You are right on the fantastic beach, All in all we had a wonderful stay at this campsite and would recommend it.

We came back after 7 years because of lock down, we have been coming here for about 20 years and will be coming back again. We celebrated our daughter’s 21 birthday.
There is nothing that we would change about any of our stays.
We were on a camping pitch and it was lovely clean and a really great size
