Stayed over tbe Alpe D'Huez stages, was great

Excellent campsite, shaded pitch, excellent facilities, very friendly staff, speak excellent English.
Water temperature adjustment on showers. Sometimes would prefer a colder shower (e.g. on hotter days) but was stuck with a hot shower.
Pitch was perfect, good space, good shading.

This site is most definitely not a four star or even a 3 star. Poor maintenance of pitches and access roads on site, big potholes and grass not cut. Toilet block, showers cold and very intermittent. No lighting on ladies side and only 2 toilets open and one of those emptied onto the floor. No working handwashing sink on gents side and one sink on the ladies side had no tap. The whole block was not at all clean. The chemical toilet was not easily accessible and again dirty. The washing machines did not work.
Maintenance of the grounds. Repair the broken plumbing in the toilet blocks and properly clean them and then a regular clean every day to maintain them
Location of the site. Pool was okay although the jacuzzi was not working and when I used the shower at the entrance the shower head fell off !! Such a shame this could be a great site with just some good grounds maintenance and regular cleaning

Very good location for walking and cycling. (Easy access to Bourg d'Oisans.)The views from the campsite are fab. This was our second visit to Camping Le Chateau Rochetaille. We will definitely return. Found all staff to be friendly and helpful. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

No hand soap in the toilets, 50/50 toilet roll availability, none functioning toilets & urinals, no hot water for washing up, flooding in bathrooms (under the chateaux), no physical presence of staff, for assistance after 8pm, daily power cuts in the evening, taps not working on sinks in toilet, broken locks on showers. A general feeling of a lack of care and attention, and a lack of urgency to address clear issues.

Expensive for what it is
Needs to be cleaned more regularly. There was often no toilet paper. Nearly all the sinks were blocked. There was no hot water. There were power cuts during our stay.

Más organización hubieron errores a la hora de darnos los edredones y las sábanas que necesitábamos tampoco tuvieron mucho cuidado al no darnos el teléfono por si había algún fallo fuera de horario de recepción y hubieron varios fallos de luz
El precio es un poco alto

l'accueil , les emplacements tente bien délimites et individuels
toute la robinetterie est à revoir , nombreuses fuites : douche , local vaisselle , robinet lavabo avec eau bp trop chaude .Pas de cabine individuelle toilette cote emplacements tentes , pas d'urinoirs !!!. Bravo à la femme de menage qui fait ce qu elle peut dans ces conditions

Calme, emplacement ombragé bien délimité et une belle superficie pour notre camping-car, 2 piscines dont 1 couverte. Le bar resto accolé à la piscine très agréable.
État général du bloc sanitaire décevant : mauvais entretien général (fuites siphons bacs carreaux faïence qui se décollent, une seule bonde où toutes les eaux des douches se rejoignent et lorsque vous passez la raclette sol vous envoyez l’eau sale dans les cabines autour !!!. Van een viersterren camping had ik meer verwacht
Prima camping in de alpen.
Toen wij aankwamen waren er veel lege plekken. Waarom krijgen wij dan het laatste plekje helemaal achteraan in de hoek? Het was maar voor twee dagen, dus niets van gezegd, maar toch. De eigenaar van het restaurant was onbeleefd en je mocht er onder de 10 euro niet pinnen. Iets om rekening mee te houden. Tip; plaats een prullenbak bij de afwasruimte, zodat je de etensresten kunt weggooien. En check iets vaker of er nog toiletpapier aanwezig is, zodat men niet voor verrassingen komt te staan.
