We arrived to a very friendly welcome and that’s the vibe of the whole place everyone staff and other guests were all so welcoming and it gives the place a very relaxed vibe.

We keep returning to Chanteloup because it simply doesn't get any better if you are camping. The facilities are top notch, clean and multiple. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. A special mention to Simone who was absolutely fabulous from checking in to ensuring we got Cider on draught! Thank you Simone!!

We try and book the same pitch every time, P14, plenty of space, electric hook up and a water supply right next to it. It affords us our large tent for six, our gazebo, trailer bar and mini bus all on one pitch.

This was the third we stayed here as a great stopover for a few days before or after port. Staff very friendly and helpful and loved the La Mans vibe this time
Wish there was a rail into pool to assist Shame the toilets far away as my husband has mobility issues

The campsite within the chateau ground makes this a wonderful place to stay. The facilities are within easy access from wherever you are situated. The staff are very helpful for any issues that occur.
We were luckily positioned under a tree which was an advantage due to the excessive hot temperatures. The access to the water was good,
It was some way to ditch the grey waste. The 10A for the electricity needed to be managed as we found it easy to trip by putting on the hot water and boiling a kettle at the same time.

what make it special here, the house the grounds are all wonderful but the staff are amazing from check in to check out arranging the local vet for our dog to serving beer and awesome pizza. I had booked a vet over an hour away but they managed to cancel this for me and re book a vet 10 mins away. We asked for pitch 22 right in front of the lake as it was peaceful and quiet - it did not disappoint, we will be back next year for sure, oh and the run with the local postman was brilliant

Great location to stop on the way down and back up through France with the motorhome. Restaurant for evening meal. A nice estate lake to fish for carp and catfish and a lovely pool. Always a nice clientele too which the price probably helps to filter. and they do the fab classic car rally. Nice staff and charming boss . Plus dog friendly location

What a great site! Lovely chateau set in extensive grounds with the pitches grouped into small ‘zones’ each offering something different. Owners were so helpful and delightfully happy and friendly.

Chateau de Chanteloup was recommended to us for an off circuit stay for the duration of Le Mans 24hr. The setting is delightful and the team were so kind and helpful (Valerie, Ronan & Ines our main contacts). Our pitch was in the woods and it was peaceful and gave a little privacy. The onsite facilities are super and the loos/showers superb.
The pitch is a great size and the water and electric could not have been closer.

A return visit to Chanteloup as a stop off for travelling south. This time we made it a 3 night stay as the whole site and atmosphere is truly magical. Friendly, relaxed, authentic, all set in the grounds of a lovely chateau. Worth far more than a stop-off

This was my 6th visit to watch the 24 hr endurance race. Seamless service as usual from charming smiling staff who are available, willing and able. A great venue, highly recomended.
Maybe more garbage disposal capacity? Double the number of bins available?

Hot water for mens showers
Large pitches that accommodate 3 big 4 man tents easily, with good electric hook up , easy to access water taps and you can even rent small domestic fridges for your pitch or a BBQ and patio furniture. Great bar area , with a beautiful pool and excellent facilities such as a launderette, petanque squares and good toilet blocks
Restaurant team are a bit disjointed and not on the top game like the rest of the site though food is good. Breakfast is best giving a miss too and getting the fresh Boulangere made Croissants etc every morning when they visit the site

Been staying at the chateau for many years for Lemans 24hr. Staff where nothing but helpful and the facilites and events that were put on were great. Toilets and showers very clean. Great place to stay at anytime not just lemans 24hr. Defo staying next year !!!

The chateau, pitches, set-up, events and staff were perfect. The visiting baker was amazing.
Nearby campers playing INCREDIBLY loud base music from their tents/lodges until 2/3/4am meant we had no sleep for 2 nights. Perhaps the site could say no music and keep noise down after 11pm please?
We could not connect to the waste as the terminal was too far away from our van and we didn’t have a long enough pipe but the electricity was great.
We were overrun with ants in our van.

This is a great stay for during the Le Mans weekend. Especially on Fiday evening with beautiful car line-up, theme party with band and disco. All race minded people. Off course a lot of time spend on the circuit but the Sunday evening you can come to rest with the pig roast bbq. Great Lodge to sleep in.
No if there is an issue they will help you out.
Perfect, clean, nice shower, bbq available and fridge.
No some people might make some noice too late but during this weekend it belongs to the setting.
