"Another stunning holiday at La Foret"What is there not to like. La Foret is a beautiful site, set next to a pine forest and walking distance to the coast.. It is a small quiet family friendly site that we adore. We've been going to La Foret for 20 years and we'll be going for many more years to come.

The pitches are clearly defined with hedges for privacy. The site is well maintained and eco friendly. The shower block is very well maintained and kept very clean., with ample facilities and hot water. The swimming pool is always clean and warm and for those who want to explore outside the campsite there is plenty to do in th elocal environment.

"Small-scale and friendly "A warm welcome on arrival: this felt the opposite of corporate. We could see why so many people we met were repeat visitors… The campsite itself was quiet (which is why we chose it) and the facilities - though not extensive - were always in immaculate order. We loved the peaceful walk to the beach through pine woods, and the uncrowded beach, even in mid-August. The roast chicken and chips with a bottle of wine ‘meal deal’ was excellent, and much appreciated given our Sunday afternoon arrival!
Being able to buy a little more in the shop would been helpful, but wasn’t the end of the world (the U-express in Notre-Dame-de-Monts was a quick drive and well stocked). It’s a shame a nearby campsite’s noise drifted across on a few nights, but this is hardly the fault of La Foret, which makes a real effort to maintain a considerate and peaceful atmosphere.

Convenient and quiet, despite being near washing facilities. Easy to access electricity and water.
A decent size, rather than huge.

"EXCELLENT…"If you love the Vendée region of France this is the site a short walk to the beach through a lovely forest accessible cycling routes right outside the site. But the best thing it gives you is peace, tranquility & adding to that it’s run by a lovely family.
