Sanitary facilities need updating badly, The disabled facilities were dangerous - water randomly going to boiling - burnt my head twice whilst trying to wash my hair Noise on a night was terrible Only found one water point on the site to get water Signage very poor - searched for where to wash pots for ages - it was in the toilet/shower block Same with laundry - no signage Some of the pitches had rubbish strewn on them Needs a lot of improvement to it by the owners

Good afternoon, We are quite shocked to read your feedback. Our facilities may appear old but they are well maintained. Everything is up to standard! In addition, our campsite is oldstyle, and that's our credo! Everything is explained in the laundry, and the wanshing area for the dishes is also indicated inside the camping. A lovely campsite in an excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff with good amenities on site and nearby. Very convenient for all the attractions of Avignon
Toilets and showers are a bit dated, but function well and are kept very clean.
Pitch was level and clean.

Unacceptable outdated sanitary block. Showers way, way to small. Toilets without seats.
Beautifull large trees. But a rather small spot for a caravan. Not sufficient room for a tent to be mounted.
Messy underground, rocks and dirt. Low amperage.

So Easy to walk into Histiric Avignon
Bathroom facilities poor. Camp charges far too high for the condition of the camp. We travel full time, we know exactly what prices should be.

Price too high! Pitches need maintain, more gravel less mud.

The site is a short walk to the city and the sights. Great site with lovely staff. Toilets and Showers are clean and well kept. Very hard to find fault. The pitches are well laid out and vary in size to accommodate different vehicles.
Shower cubicle was very small, there's room in the building for them to be a little larger.
Great size pitch.
The big trees and a tree stump made one of the pitches impossible for us to use.

The camping Bagatelle is very close to the center of Avignon, perfect for a city trip
We came with a camper van of a length of 6.4 m; the pitch was big enough; the sanitary equipment is old but always clean

The trees were very mature and gave very good shade from the sun.
The second shower block had no paper in the toilets. The lights in the toilets were turned off at night. This is dangerous and very unpleasant. All the facilities need to be renewed and should have been renews 30 years ago.

The location is ideal for exploring Avignon, just a short walk from the site and you're in the city. Facilities were perfectly adequate (sanitary block a bit dated, but clean and plentiful). Bar / restaurant was great for an evening meal, good food and reasonably priced (and nice wine) Didn't use the mini-market, but it looked to be well stocked
The only downside was the length of time to check in - but I think we were unlucky and arrived at a particularly busy time. Also the WiFi, which we paid extra for, didn't work particularly well and kept asking me to sign back in - so I gave up on it in the end.
Pitches were a good size, relatively flat and with easy access to electricity and water. Also a good combination of light and shade.
Ideally a bit more privacy between pitches would be great - but for a conveniently-located city campsite, I really don't have anything to complain about with this one!

The Locartion cose to Avignon only 10 mins walk
The sanitary rooms!!! Not to understand that owner dit not invest in modern and functional sanitatary rooms for men and women and handicaped people!! Seems that owner just like to make money but not to reinvest! Thats only work in such premium locations like Avignong ist one! Shame on me if i would be the onwer of this site!!

Nous avons énormément de charges, et d'imprévus qui surviennent (par exemple, la panne de notre chaudière que nous avons du remplacer d'urgence). Nos installations sanitaires peuvent paraître anciennes mais soyez sûrs qu'elles sont quotidiennement nettoyées. Cordialement, L'équipe Bagatelle

Thie close proximity to the city and location alongside the river make this the only place to stay when visiting Avignon. Friendly staff.
The sanitisation blocks are in need of a major overhaul. I would suggest demolishing both blocks and starting again.

On both mornings another camper started up their noisy van at 6.30am. It sounded like the same van on each occasion, which then left the site having woken everyone up. We understood the gate was closed until 7am?

Just a few minutes walk to the walls of Avignon and just a few minutes drive to be on the road to Orange, Nimes, etc
The hot water failed in the main toilet block for a couple of days but there was another smaller one to use.
