We visited this site having looking at site reviews, was very easy to see why this is so popular. As our time at L’Eperviere continued, it just got better and better
Standard pitch, overlooking the lake - a little sloped but we managed to level with relative ease. Great views of the lake

We expected a nice place but we have been blown away by what we experienced in this short stay. On our way home we discussed if this was the best or the second best place we have been the last eight years. The pitch size, the setup with power fresh and waste water, the whole ambience, the Restaurant, all just close to perfect.
Nothing comes to my mind. Maybe on some pitches the waste water entrance is a bit high over the ground.
We stayed at pitch 112 and this was for our 12 ton, 10,30m long RV the perfect pitch, also the gravel grubsoil was perfect. We had over night a heavy rain, during that rain 5cm water stand on the ground. In the next hour the ground was dry and when we left next morning our motorhome left no traces in the ground.

Where to start? The grounds and pitches are kept immaculate through daily hard work and attention to detail. The ablution blocks are always scrupulously clean, again from frequent cleaning. The staff, from Le Patron down, are unfailingly courteous, polite and helpful. The restaurant is in a class of it's own. My wife's birthday meal last night was a exceptional; hat's off to a talented chef. We'd come back tomorrow!
More clothes hooks in the shower cubicles please!

We were so lucky with the weather and this meant we got to enjoy everything the campsite had to offer… swimming pool, easy access to bike paths, quiet morning strolls.
The pitch was a generous size with grass at the back and gravel for the van to sit on which was perfect. Convenient access to water and electric supply.
I would not like to be any further from the toilets/facilities

This is our 3rd stay at this beautiful campsite & it’s a wonderful place to stay. The pitches are large & the facilities are kept beautifully clean. The Staff are superb, very polite, hard working & helpful. The Staff who serve in the onsite shop are wonderful & a credit to the campsite. The restaurant serves delicious food which is reasonably priced. The grounds are kept beautifully tidy. The pool is warm & there is an excellent separate baby/toddlers pool. There are lakes on site where you can fish & there is a lake not far away for swimming & for the more serious fishermen.
Perhaps a bigger area around the swimming pool for sun loungers, as it can get a little crowded at certain times of the day. But everything else is excellent.

A fantastic campsite, very well maintained, exceptionally clean, friendly staff. The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean. The indoor pool, bar and restaurant were good value. We stayed at the end of the season, but standards were highly maintained throughout the campsite.
Provide hairdryers in the bathroom.

We both agreed that this site was the best site overall that we have ever stayed at. It didn't disappoint - in fact we were in awe.
If I am being picky, WiFi was only freely available at the bar area
Our pitch was enormous and was mostly private from the other caravan/motor homes either side. It was so well kept
Occasionally through the day, the power dropped so our fridge ran off the battery on board. This did not necessarily happen when other electrical appliances were being used.

Everything..the pitches are large, the toilets are super , the bar court area lovely to meet others..I wish dogs were allowed on the terasse of the restaurant (maybe low.season) as I would have loved to have sampled the menu... staff extremely friendly too.

Otroligt välordnad camping i en vacker slottsmiljö. Rent och snyggt servicehus med allt man kan önska, många duschar och toaletter, bra med varmvatten, många toaletter, diskplatser inne. Pool, bar, restaurang, tvättstuga, butik mm. Stora platser med gräs eller grus och väldigt välskött.
Tycker allt var bra, hittar inget negativt.

We have been visiting this camp site for many year whilst travelling to the south of France. However, for the past three years we have extended our visits to three weeks as we enjoy it so much. The camp site is beautiful, very well kept and is staffed by people who couldn’t do more to help make a perfect holiday. I’m sure we will be visiting again next year and hopefully for many years to come.
Can’t think of anything Castel Camping Château de L'Epervière is perfect as it is.

This is a beautiful site , very clean and pretty . The shower/ toilets are the best we’ve experienced. The on-site restaurant was great. We were in our Motorhome and had a huge pitch . Will definitely be back .

What a magical place this is. Immaculate, large pitches. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. Lovely restaurant on site. Great for cycling/walking. We will definitely be returning.
