We have stayed before and knew what to expect. It was first class. There is a fenced in area for dogs plus a short walk through the woods, which was ideal for our older dog.

What a beautiful campsite. Having just spent 2 weeks travelling through Europe and visiting numerous campsites, Castel Camping Chateau de L'Eperviere was the most beautiful site in its own right. The staff were very welcoming on arrival, the facilities excellent and the grounds of the site stunning. Our children loved all the opportunities to play and we found the experience very relaxing.

The whole campsite had a really great feel, very well maintained and everyone we came across was very friendly. The facilities were very good, clean and well looked after.

The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect would be Wi-Fi availability around the whole campsite and pitches.

All good , patio bar area had a makeover which works well . Pitch areas well maintained .

Use of the swimming pool, easy access to the canal and cycle routes

Quality of the pitches. We were allocated Pitch 78 and it was not fit for purpose, extremely disappointing. It was very uneven, difficult to put chairs and table on and badly grassed. In wet weather it would have been very muddy.

Stayed fpr one night recently while travelling between locations. Had a great pitch between Chateau and lake... perfect. Swam in the pool - very nice... Bought local wine and some other provisions in the shop (good selection) and ordered bread for next day. Ate in the restaurant with good menu and selections, it was busy but good friendly service..

No, all good. Luckily we had a great pitch, other pitches may not have been as amazing

Always a pleasure to stay here, grounds, garden area are beautiful. Fabulous meal at the Chateau and cycle rides along the river are safe.

I suggested a snack bar to my wife and guess what they will open one in July.

Beautiful location everyone we met was very welcoming.

Two relaxing weeks in Burgundy in springtime enjoying fantastic quality yet affordable local food and wine selections and pleasant weather conditions in Saone river valley. L'Eperviere camping is very very well maintained (cleanliness, gardening), organised, relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Our relative large area pitch was along a pond with daily show of water birds hunting fish. Very good and beutiful bicycle route along Saone river to nearby small town Tournus (12 km) with shops, bars, restaurants and hair saloon.

WiFi only working in reception and bar area. Instructions for separating the waste into different bins are not clear. Laundry room is located second floor and stairs are steep so difficult to carry laundry bags. Also missing sink for washing cloths by hands.

Very well thought out pitches, lots of room and hedges mark clearly where one pitch ends and another starts. Great place for dogs.Electricity 10A. Water and drain, super! Pitches are grass. Well looked after and level. Sanitair was and spotless and well equipped. Grounds are fabulous and very pretty as is the chateau and its out buildings. Great pool, not hugely busy. A great shop on site, fresh bread and croissants etc tip. They sell there own wine and the prices are very good. Lastly the restaurant, Excellent menu, well priced and the food was delicious!

We love staying here. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. The pitches are large and well looked after. The amenities are exceptionally clean and of very good quality The pool is great, the shop well stocked, and the bar and outside area is a great place to relax. The restaurant is top class with a great variety of dishes.

This is a beautiful campsite. Very peaceful and a good location for a stopover for a longer stay. The staff have been incredibly friendly and their English was phenomenally good. Very grateful for this as we speak very basic French. It’s easy to walk to the river, ideal for dogs. The food in the restaurant and takeaway was very good.

Dog poo bins in the grounds and a full length mirror in the sanitary block would be useful.

Despite some interesting weather....we had another great stay.

The restaurant seems to have deteriorated in the last few stays

Stayed overnight on way back from the South. Beautiful site, super clean toilet block, lovely staff and the food in the restaurant was amazing.

Maybe if the shop could be open a little longer but not a big deal.
