Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoStayed for one night at this beautiful site en route to the the south coast. The site was so lovely; teeming with wildlife, we saw beavers and heron....we wished that we had booked for two nights to appreciate it fully. The deviation to site was not far off our route, it had a much needed pool, the restaurant did fabulous Beef Bourguignon and wine...our stay was the perfect refresh to break up our journey. We will definitely return and have already recommended to our friends.
Large, shady pitch. We sat outside our caravan watching beavers playing and swimming.

Friends recommended this camping for an overnight stay back home to The Netherlands. We were welcomed warmly and it is definitely a great camping. Not only for an overnight stay, but also for a longer holiday. Good food, great shade at the pitch, and very clean restrooms and washing areas.
Our stay was too limited to make any suggestions.
Our pitch was level and we weren't put on gras but on little pebbles which was fine because we would only stay overnight. We had 10A electricity and a water tab. Lot's of shade through trees which was great.

This charming camping venue has a wonderful team of attentive staff, with a great sense of humour. The venue has a lot to offer such as kids club, wine cellar and wine tasting, pools, bar, restaurant & cafe. The onsite restaurant served a range of french and seasonal dishes to suit the dietary requirements of variety of individals. The restaurant prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. The bar served a great range of drinks and ice creams for all adults and children, this was brilliant. The convenient store was amazing to order baked goods such as croissants, flute & baguettes.
Things to improve would include more varied eco friendly activities for kids and other interesting things such (e.g archery, allotment growing activity, fruit picking, mini kids yoga, french cooking demonstrations/ lessons for adults and children (charge), pottery decorating (charge). Wine tasting was lovely in the rustic cellar but, too crowded on a hot day, there should be timed slots for guests max 8 per 15 minute slots. A table should be set with wines in glasses ready to be tasted. Limit the wines that are tasted in the slots otherwise it takes forever.Cycle hire is independent from venue
Overall the pitch was clean, large and generous. There were children's activities which Heidi enjoyed. The indoor and out door pool was fantastic for all children to play and cool off during a hot day. There was fishing available as an activity in the ponds that kids were enjoying with their parents. The beautiful ponds were covered with lily pads and had a lovely bridge crossing to cycle by. The beautifully decorated courtyard outside the bar was lovely to have breakfast each day. The staff were very accommodating when you first arrive and have not put an order for breakfast.
The management missed out on the opportunity to haved timed pool acitivities for kids and big kids in the pool, and maybe have some music playing/ radio. The selection of cheese is limited at the store. There is opportunity to create a cheese and chutney platter for guests to place and order and collect from the store or during the wine tastings. Our pitch was at the back (slightly noisy as it is near the road) and a 5 minute walk to the toilet/ shower facilities. Overall the pitch was clean, large and generous, with water and electricity so we were OK.

Large well spaced pitches. Well maintained site. Good facilities. Restaurant, bar and outdoor pool Nice quiet ambience on site
None -well done. Allow dogs into outside terrace at the restaurant please
Very good pitch
A shady under trees for our liking. Site was very busy or we would have requested a sunnier pitch

A fantastic site. Beautiful pitches, helpful Staff, great pizzas and a clean modern facilities block. Easy access to the cycle path along the river, and staff will book canoeing for you which was lovely. Highly recommend.
The area around the swimming pool flooring is really painful to walk on!
Location, size, we'll maintained.
All gravel, would have liked some grass.

Our family of 4 had so much to do and also a lot to not do so we could relax. From footy and fishing and the pool for the kids and a bar and shop and restaurant for us all. Close to lots of markets and towns a gem of a place.
Nothing really!! Our pitch was a bit noisy for the tent as it was right next to the road through which he campsite so got woken a bit early.
Great size and condition pitch
Just a bit noisy, but not really an issue

Beautiful campsite with huge pitches. Thankfully many were shaded as it was so hot during our stay. Lovely pool for cooling off. Exceptionally helpful lady at reception who managed to organise a new tyre for our motorhome as we had a puncture on route. She also organised a hire bicycle for our son. A massive thank you to her for all her help. Great area for cycling as very close to the River Saone cycle route. Very pretty. Would definitely return if in that area.
Outside area of restaurant or part of this area could possibly be dog friendly. We would definitely have eaten there if that had been the case.
Fantastic pitch

We worked out that this was at least our 12th visit to our favourite site in France. Sadly it will be our last as we are getting on a bit and want to explore more. In addition Gert Jan is giving up and handing over to quite rightly, enjoy he time. This site has always been worth its 5 stars. The only issue this time was in relation to the lake area. We were sited in an area where there were one or two night stayers next to us which meant being disturbed early morning as they hit the road to get more miles in.
Don't think London Pride will ever be sold in the bar.
As always, pitch was clear and ready for us. Private and with wonderful view of lake.
