Camping Le Tampico

Super friendly staff, very clean facilities, great restaurant with delicious food and excellent and friendly service. We came back here after we visited for the first time 2 years ago. The nearby 9- hole Golf course is another highlight. Well maintained, challenging course, super friendly staff at the course and the restaurant. We will be back!

Campsite well laid out. Toilets showers clean, water hot, restaurant excellent. Plenty of walks, cycling from campsite. Supermarket and pretty town within walking distance. This was our 2nd visit and we love it. Staff and management welcoming and helpful. We will be back time and again.

This campsite is a great location for both walking and cycling in the area. The pitches are generous ,facilities very clean and maintained to a high standard, staff friendly and helpful and great food in the restaurant.

Excellent customer service

Men’s toilets had no functional urinals.

this campsite is very comfortable because of a good starting point for cycling climbs

because it is very popular it is sometimes difficult to get a reservation

Camp was full and I am happy that I was 'smart' enough to make reservation few days before coming. No wonder, Barcelonnette is perfect location for doing a lot of things. We were cycling and we got a nice booklet with a description of cycling tours at tourist office.

The campsite has pretty much everything that you need for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation: very friendly managers, peaceful and relaxing campsite, clean and nice facilities within the campsite, excellent croissants and baguettes that you can pick up every morning in the restaurant, and a very nice restaurant!

Absolutely lovely site with fantastic views of the surrounding alps. Food served in the bar was great. Footpath from campsite into town takes around 15 minutes to walk.

We've been coming to this campsite on and off for over 12 years. The site has been well managed over the time and consistently upgraded. There have been changes of management which haven't affected the atmosphere. We particularly like that it has areas with lots of shade, which in the middle of the summer is essential. All in all, a great place to stay. As walkers there is a wealth of information in the campers 'lounge' area, and a huge map of the area. This has been particularly useful, especially with the weather conditions this year meaning a lot of then higher level walks under the snow

Booking a pitch in advance no problem, putting up a tent there was not so easy, the ground was very hard to put pegs in.No problem with

Heure d'ouverture du camping un peu tôt au regard des campings car qui dès 7h00 (oui 00) démarrent... 7h30 serait plus agréable

Le calme, la propreté des sanitaires.

Les lampes qui s'allument automatiquement la nuit quand quelqu'un passe peut s'avérer gênant en tente (j'ai dû mettre un masque).

Schöne Camperplätze, viele Bäume die für Schatten sorgen. Sanitär Anlagen in gutem Zustand. Backwaren aller Art ab 08.00 Uhr. Entspanntes Personal
