Brilliant stop-over on a rural, mountain campsite. We were greeted by Alexsandria in reception. It was a lovely warm welcome. She was so friendly & helpful. We picked a pitch & it was ideal. Toilets & showers were clean & practical. At the bar we met Ricardo who was also friendly & welcoming. There was a good selection of drinks and a range of typical local bar dishes so we chose not to walk to the local village for the bars & restaurants. Ricardo has a lot of mountaineering experience locally and overseas. We were joined by few more people in the bar and it made for a really pleasant evening.

The site has a very steep internal road from the gateway to the tent pitches which is to be expected on a mountain. The views from the top of the site were very nice indeed. The reception and restaurant area was very pleasant and well kept. Restaurant opening hours were not given on the website I think. This was not a great issue if arriving late as there's a restaurant in the town that's open until 2300hrs. It was open for breakfast.
Whilst I appreciate the difficulty in maintaining grass pitches, these were dust bowls. A more accurate description in the site review would be desirable. The shower facilities were basic but functional and clean.
The pitch was large and flat.

Dear Mr. Stewart, thank you for your review. We have been having years of no rain now, and water restrictions at night time, so we won´t be able to water our plots no more. So 2 months ago we have for pebbles , and we will recieve them next week. It is sad but climate change is really afecting everyone now around the world. So glad you enjoyed your stay and the reception was pleasant to you. We don´t have a restaurant , the sign says bar only, that is why we close at 8pm, so only for little things to eat. thank you for your remark. it really helps. about the dust and the drought we are suffering, we are putting pebbles on the plot so that way we won´t have any dust anymore, because we are very restricted on water. and about the restaurant , it is not a restaurant, it is a bar/terrace. the sign says that . and it is the reason why there is little range. but the town is full of beautiful restaurants that serve food from the region. Me gustó mucho el respeto por la tranquilidad y el silencio que se respira en el camping. Cuando voy a la naturaleza me gusta mucho disfrutar de esto. También la amabilidad de la persona que nos mostró las parcelas. Al ser agosto no había mucha gente y nos dio facilidades para que nos quedáramos en las parcelas que quisiéramos y que estuviéramos cómodos. Me gustaba que había muchos arbolitos con sombra. La piscina también muy bien
El camping es sencillo y básico, tiene todo lo necesario. Quizás las instalaciones un poco antiguas pero todo limpio y bien. Las parcelas algunas muy pequeñas pero estuvimos bastante cómodos porque no había mucha gente

Destcar ,que si bien para mi no fue un problema ,la cocina esta fuera de la cabaña y basicamentw es lo que se ve en las fotos de la web( un fregadero ,una cocinilta de gas y un frigorifico .No hay apenas sitio.para almacenar muchos alimentos
