We have visited this campsite a number now and use it as a nice stopover and relaxation site at the start and end of our holidays in Normandy and Brittany. It is a very peaceful and well laid out site within 10 minutes walking time to the delightful fishing village of St Vaast la Hougue. The staff are always welcoming and always very helpful. It is great to see the care that the owners take of the site and it is exciting to see the improvements they are making.
One of the sanitary blocks has recently been updated and is a great facility. The other block is a little dates but kept immaculately clean and is still perfectly functional and is I believe scheduled to be updated soon.

Good staff, pitches spacious, level and in good condition. Nice planting round the site. Excellent location to walk the dog or visit the town and harbour. Cost of the stay was good value.
People wash their hands at the sink with soap near the toilets which is also used for washing up - doesn’t seem hygienic.
EHU and water close by. Green and level - lots of space.
Grass and hedges needed cutting. Overhanging trees meant had to use centre of pitch.

However, we deliberately reduce hedge trimming during this time of year to protect nesting birds, in accordance with environmental guidelines. Regarding the toilet paper issue, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The campsite was fully booked this past weekend, with over 500 guests on-site. Although our team checks and services the sanitary facilities at least three times a day, high occupancy can occasionally lead to some dispensers running out between rounds. As for the pool, it is indeed heated, but depending on the weather and frequent use, the temperature may feel cooler at times. Thank you again for staying with us and for your understanding. Bien que notre équipe effectue au minimum trois passages quotidiens dans les sanitaires, il peut malheureusement arriver, notamment en période de forte affluence, que certains distributeurs se vident entre deux interventions. Enfin, pour ce qui est de la piscine, elle est bien chauffée, mais selon la météo et l’utilisation intensive, la température peut parfois sembler plus fraîche. As for the sanitary facilities, it’s true that rainy weather can lead to them getting dirty more quickly. Our team cleans the facilities at least three times a day, especially the floors. However, it’s not always possible to step in after every individual use. We’d also like to point out that we’ve recently opened a brand-new summer sanitary block—completely new and designed for greater comfort. If your comment referred to another area, we’re sorry to hear that, but rest assured that this new facility is available to all our guests. We were also quite surprised by your remark about the young man at reception. Angelo has been part of our team for several seasons and is well known for his kindness and professionalism. This is a nice camp site with plenty of facilities. Staff very welcoming and helpful. 5/10 min walk to small town and lovely beach/marina walks. all in all a pleasant stay.
Pitches are plenty big to park however you need to, great for avoiding wind or needing shade whatever your need.

Efficient and friendly! We love this site and its situation so close to the coast and the town. The facilities are good and the pool is lovely.
Our exit barrier card didn't work, this was not a problem as staff were on hand, but had it been later on it could have been awkward.

Large pitches with privacy, close to local ammonites, great dog walks lovely pool area, good snack bar with good prices, food delicious.
Toilet areas found no privacy, strange to say but someone always cleaning.

We are surprised by your comment regarding the lack of pricacy when the sanitary block are being cleaned. We do clean 5 times a day and this is why we have great reviews on the hygiene and cleanliness of our sanitary block. Unfortunately for you, it seems that you have used them each time at the same time as our cleaning team was there. However, we have 2 sanitary blocks. Therefore, when one is being cleaned, we always redirect the campers to use the other one instead.

Good sized pitch, nice that you could buy bread 🥖 and croissants 🥐 and the campsite was well positioned- near to the town, near to the vets in Quettehou and close to St Mere Eglise and Utah beach.
Poor WiFi and although the toilets were kept very clean (well done) they are showing their age and need a revamp.

The Camping is near at the beach, the centre ville and the harbour. There get you fresh fish and ouyster every day!! We were at the camping to enjoy the DDay .
The Camping was not to big, is was clean. The Staff was always friendly!!
Our pitch has a good size for 2 peop., 1 1 Campingcar and a trailer.

Stayed here with my pets for a week. It is possibly the friendliest place I have ever stayed in. The place is spotless and facilities are great. There is a super little snack bar for pizzas etc which also sells essentials but most importantly beer and cider. The location is perfect for town and the town itself is picturesque with fabulous walks. Although I didn’t use the pool it was open and heated and again was spotless.
I stayed in a lovely 2 bedroom chalet and again like everything here it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. There was everything I needed. There was a nice few touches like; bbq, deck chairs, parasol and drying rack for clothes. The bedrooms although small had plenty of storage. Each chalet had a private garden

Perfect location , nice walks nearby. Site was clean and tidy . Staff friendly . Lovely to arrive to a bottle of 80th anniversary D-Day cider and some biscuits . Everything you need nearby within walking distance
