This is such a lovely place to stay, beautiful surroundings and the grounds are well kept. Lovely swimming pool area, which is not too busy even during peak season. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The fresh bread and croissants are delicious! Conveniently located being close to the A10 with lots to see and do in the local area. Would definitely recommend it and will return in the future.
The shower block needs updating and extra water points needed on the site. The caravan toilet emptying facility should be located elsewhere. However I know the owners have only recently purchased the property so I'm sure this will be addressed at some point and would not put me off returning.

Lovely campsite in the beautiful grounds of Chateau de la Rolandiere. The reception area is well stocked and staff were very welcoming. This is a small campsite with nice large plots. The facilities are kept very clean but would benefit from modernisation Small pool area was clean and well maintained
The only negative I can say is that the toilet and shower block really would benefit from some updating

Beautiful setting. Fantastic servhces available on site from washing to bar, pool & breakfast, clean toilets & showers. Well kept private pitches. Friendly staff. Good shop. Great location.
I realise it wouldn’t be that easy to do and would require some construction but two toilets at busy times isn’t enough, so another two toilets possibly?

Loved the campsite. Friendly and helpful owners. Quiet and calm, huge pitches. Felt very special.
The showers and toilets- bit rustic!
Spacious and quiet. Views over the fields.
The only downside is that it is quite remote. We explored on our bikes but you needed to drive to visit Chinon and Richelieu.

Fabulous chateau great location for visiting some amazing villages in the region Host were fantastic we thoroughly enjoyed our few days will definitely call that way next year

Really liked the size of the site, it was very peaceful but there was lots of space for the children to run about.
Toilet and shower area could be updated a bit

Lovely house and grounds. Excellent swimming pool. Lovely countryside. Very nice owner and staff.
Pitch number 4 sloped almost at the limit our caravan could take. Luxury pitches should have own water supply and waste drainage. Toilets etc were old and outdated although clean.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay here. Great location for visiting the area. Lovely gardens for evening drinks from the bar and a pool is an added bonus. Helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

De uitstraling van de Camping is fantastisch. De ruime plekken met afscheiding en veel bomen waren met de warme dagen een aangename bijkomstigheid. Het zwembad is fijn en de broodjes service is prima verzorgd. Zeer Snel wifi Internet voor mijn 11 jarige.
Het sanitair is verouderd. Met name de dichte douchehokjes (zijkant van het sanitair gebouw) zijn zo benauwd met douchen en er komt geen verse lucht binnen. En dat maakt het echt zeer onaangenaam benauwd om daar te douchen. Legging van chemisch toilet zit niet op de goede plaat, naast de afwasplek. Bij het zwembad zitten veel bijen en wespen aan de rand van het bad, die water komen drinken (goed voor hun natuurlijk) maar minder voor de rennende kinderen. En waar camping eigenaren niks aan kunnen doen maar erg hinderlijk is, zijn die airco’s op campers en caravans die zoveel herrie maken.
Staanplaats was geweldig. Wij hadden veel schaduw en de plek was goed afgebakend met groene planten en bomen. Stroompunt was dichtbij net als water.
De staanplaatsen zijn erg (te) schuin aflopend. Dit zorgt ervoor dat oprij blokken niet toereikend zijn. Ook de nieuw gerealiseerde plekken missen nog wel dat gevoel van de oude plekken qua groen en beschutting.

Mooi chateau. Heerlijk kleinschalig. Fijn zwembad. De plekken met zicht op de akkers zijn het mooist en dragen echt bij aan een mooie kampeerbeleving.
Het sanitair moet echt vernieuwd worden. Als dat is gebeurd zou ik alle comfort plekken vergroten (van 2 plekken 1 maken). Het zit nu allemaal te dicht op elkaar. Je kunt dan veel meer geld vragen per plek.

Plek 23. Wat krapjes voor een caravan met luifel. Minder privacy helaas, want een pad langs 2 zijden. De privilege plekken zijn ruimer.

Maravilloso tanto el castillo como todo lo que hay alrededor suyo. Nos hemos alojado, por segunda vez, en una de sus Movil-Homes, y la experiencia no puede ser mas fascinante. Tranquilidad, piscina, paseos, etc. Sin olvidar que estamos en el Valle de Loira, con todo lo que se puede ver y hacer. No me olvido de la cercanía de los propietarios, para cualquier consulta e información.

Sanitair is erg gedateerd - kan leuk authentiek zijn, maar niet alles werkt naar behoren en niet altijd schoon.
