Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoPlenty to do for youngsters, particularly the excellent pool. Free pony rides were a treat for our five year old. Smiling, charming staff. Site very clean and well maintained.
Well equipped kitchen

As usual the holiday was excellent, our grandchildren loved everything and there was lots of things for them to do. The site is extremely clean and never saw any rubbish lying around
My only problem is the bed is very i comfortable and a change would be beneficial.
Access is amazing with room to get around

Well located site on the Euro Velo 4 (Velomaritime) with access to excellent cycling, both off road and circuits on quiet roads around the Baie de Somme area. 15 minutes by bike to Parc du Marquenterre. 30 minutes to Le Crotoy with access to Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme. Magnificent birds and other wildlife in fascinating wetland area. Good sized pitch with hedges. Good food at Restaurant.
Site was completely full during our visit in high season. As a result, Sanitary blocks were overrun. Just one sanitary block in the vicinity of the majority of touring pitches. There were two other blocks, side by side further up the site and frequently needed to walk to those as there were queues for the toilets at our nearest block. Floor of washing up area was frequently awash with water, not sure why. Are the sink drains leaking? Grey cloths left at entrance to Sanitary blocks unsightly. Could another solution be found? Soap dishes in showers would be nice.
Pitch with water, electricity and waste water drainage.
Minimum 7 night stay in high season - but understand the reason for this. We could only stay for 5 nights so this makes it more expensive. Electricity connection was not standard EU 16 amp socket and was a very old version which we last used in 1990s. Fortunately we had one with us. Unable to establish the power rating of the electrical connection - would have been useful to know. Had to assume it was 6 amp or 10 amp as the socket was so old. Not stated on website or booking.

Quiet site in a good location. Nice bar with good food.
Sanitary facilities were rather unusual. If the site had been busy there would not have been sufficient toilets.
Good sized pitch surrounded by hedge and with own tap and electrics

Surrounding area was fantastic, Parc Du Marquenterre was wonderful, highly recommend. The campsite pitches were a good size, with hedges all around, giving us privacy. Good laundry facilities. Toilet block clean. Staff friendly. Lovely pastries in the morning.
Showers tended to spray everywhere, so it was difficult to keep things dry. They were not that warm either, shame they were unisex as well.
Couldn’t find drainage system?

Great location for bike rides and to visit the bird reserve, cute towns nearby to visit. The pool was one of the best we’ve been to for families!
Well appointed, in good condition and clean. Beds were comfortable. Lovely to sit on the covered terrace of an evening.
A bottle opener would be appreciated! Limited space around beds and in toilet to move around.

Swimming pool and slides, cleanliness of site, excellent location next to cycle paths. The aquatic park was the best we've had at a campsite in the north of France.
Clean, spacious, the dishwasher was small but did the job.

Stayed in camping car with teenage grand children. Children enjoyed the pool complex and the sports field. Food in Restaurant was good and a good choice of pastries in the morning. Site close to bird sanctuary and sea and just over an hour’s drive from Calais.
Some of the sanitary block was closed during our stay which meant queuing for showers which was unsatisfactory. The floor of the lazy river needs some attention as the membrane has stretched and rucked up in many areas. There is no where in the pool to have a swim without being bombed by children. Water in washing up area was cold.
Pitched originally offered was too small for my camping car with awning despite providing dimensions as part of the booking. Electric points are not provided on each plot and I had to crawl through a hedge to connect to power. Pitches level and dried quickly after rain.
Shower water was intermittently hot then cold. Washing up water was always cold.

The main reason was to visit Paris.
Toilets and showers are in pretty old standard and the toliets have no seats.
Tent with our own spot, electricity and a fresh water-tap.
Toliets and showers. Old standard.

Had a great pitch with plenty of room which was great but the reception was poor firstly which wasn’t a great start to the holiday. The downside was the toilets were all french style without loo seats which we didn’t like at all!
Put a few loo seats on the toilets please it would have made a better experience.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly, even though our French speaking is very poor, they were very patient and understanding. Excellent facilities through out.
I would perhaps suggest that bicycles could be hired through the site or via a third party. Also perhaps the availability of Fruit and vegetables in the shop.
We stayed in our camper van, the pitch was great. We didn’t have the correct electrical connector, but the excellent reception staff, arranged and sorted this for us.
Not sure if there is a speed limit on the campsite, but felt that some vehicles (it was a minority) were travelling a bit fast considering that a lot of children were riding bikes/scooters around the site.

Friendly staff, great location, clean and well cared for
More convenient water taps and 'vidoir'
Spacious pitch, private and sheltered
The ground was a bit smelly!

Quiet, well organised site
Close pitches where grass needs time to recover. Showers should be warm, not tepid

Liked the bathroom, table & chairs. The access ramp was very good. Aquatic centre, including swimming pool excellent.
Bed to low for disabled person. No instructions for using heaters. Glasses & crockery in wrong place over the cooker. Oven/grill in wrong place. Needed a hand rail up the access ramp and bushes need cutting back. Plots only small and units close together. Signage at entrance from road not easy to see.
See above.
See above. We booked a 1 bed mobile home but my wife who is disabled could not get up the steps as there was no handrail so reception changed our accommodation to a disabled mobile home.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Champ Neuf. The owners and workers so helpful and friendly. A wonderful large pitch cleverly screened with bushes right next to a tap with drinking water. The pool and water slides was a definite hit with our granddaughters and the all sports pitch good for meeting and making friends. Lovely!
The showers could be improved - a stronger shower please!
Having electric hook up is a must for us and the tap very near.
Would have been good to have a drainage system under the pitch

A warm welcome as always from Christophe and Isobel and their staff
Love the mobile home and where it is placed, always clean and no job is too much if needed by staff
The bed in the main room could be in need of changing

We are frequent visitors to this amazing camp site. Christophe and Isabelle are amazing hosts and can't do enough for you. The facilities are getting better and better with each visit. Can't wait to go again!
I felt like I was in an episode of Bridgeton. The house was fantastic and the photos don't do it justice. There was a lot of room for us all.
Could have a few fans as it get a bit hot in the night time.
