De rust en omgeving
Iets meer aan de uitstraling werken. Camping kan wat rommelig lijken.
Prima plek met ruimte voor iedereen.
Plastic stoelen buiten zijn aan vervanging toe. En de hangmat is niet aanwezig .

This was our second stay at L'Avelanède and it won't be the last. It has a huge variety of pitches, some with ample shade, others for those who prefer wild camping and numerous chalets. The restaurant serves really good food, and a snack bar serves breakfast and light meals and drinks opposite a beautifully kept pool. The owners of the site are so friendly and helpful that you feel part of the family. Incredible hospitality.
This year our camper van broke down. Fortunately this happened on the campsite and whilst the van was taken away for repair, Thibault provided us with accommodation in one of his chalets with Air Conditioning, king size bed with ensuite and a beautiful view of the meadows. It was pure luxury and when our van was fixed we decided to spend the rest of the holiday in the chalet. Next year, this is where we'll be staying.

It's a very comfortable site, well organised by friendly staff with a restaurant you should not miss. The food and service are excellent and prices are reasonable. It is ideal for families with small children and is also perfect for elderly campers like us with all the easily accessible amenities. We will be returning next summer.
Could do with more toilets, showers, washing up bays and wash basins (only 4 of each in our block which meant queuing at peak times).
Our pitch (for a campervan) was a spacious and well-shaded area with an electric hookup.

We hebben genoten van deze leuke, gezellige camping. De kinderen genoten van het zwembad en de trampoline. Het personeel was vriendelijk.
Alleen jammer dat je het verblijf contant moest betalen. Ook hadden we last van de honden van de eigenaar die los rond liepen.
We hadden een grote plek voor onze tent.
Dat de honden ons af en toe lastig vielen.

The accomodation is really nic and original, the bed are comfy, the camping is quiet but still animated with its swimming pool, pingpong tables and kid's games. Breakfast are super generous and the staff is nice.
The camping is great, the accomodation was really nice, but alothough we were told to bring our bedshits, nothing was said about towels, sponge, toilet paper... I had assumes that as it was an accomodation, at least spponge and toilet paper would be provided. Maybe it would be good to have it precised in the email.

Super friendly reception. Possibility to rent cabins for a single night (low season). Great cabin options. Lovely location, away from it all.
Separate tent bedrooms means privacy was good, even though there were five of us. Right at the end of the campground meant we were away from it all, close to nature.

7 ans que nous venons au camping chaque été à la même période. Nous avons toujours été ravis par l'accueil, le calme, l'entretien et la propreté. Cette année nous avons été pour la 1ère fois déçus. Surtout parce que pendant les 3 premiers jours de notre séjour, les sanitaires communs n'ont pas du tout été nettoyés. Tout était sale (WC, éviers, lavabos et douches) et pas de ravitaillement en papier toilette. Nous n'avons vu passer aucun personnel de service. Le camping semblait totalement à l'abandon. Le 4ème jour heureusement le ménage a enfin été fait! Aussi les robinets des lavabos fuyaient.
Davantage d'entretien des sanitaires communs et des terrains (papiers et objets en tous genres qui traînent un peu partout). Acceptation de la carte bancaire au bar (nous n'avons de ce fait rien consommé du séjour), il faudrait se mettre à la page. Ce camping a un énorme potentiel et est un havre de paix, qui à notre grande tristesse semblait totalement à l'abandon cette année. Faites aussi en sorte que la piscine soit moins profonde (travaux à envisager) car tout le monde se plaint de ne pas y avoir pieds, c'est dommage, ce n'est pas très sécurisant ni reposant (pas prévue pour la natation).
L'emplacement lui est toujours au top : grandeur, sensation de liberté, ombre, etc. Là-dessus, rien à redire!

Oprit, wegdek van de camping heeft wat aandacht nodig. Minder geschikt voor tieners meer voor families met jongere kinderen of stellen.

Een niet al te grote camping met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Elke dag heerlijk verse broodjes en het restaurant is ook aan te raden. De niet al te grote camping is heerlijk rustig en ligt vlakbij de wat meer toeristisch plekken rondom het meer. Onze mobile home was netjes en schoon. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad.
Niet echt geschikt voor tieners Onze mobile home stond naast de wc/douche ruimte voor de kampeergasten wat iets meer lawaai en minder privacy geeft op bepaalde momenten.

Toujours le manque de pression aux douches des sanitaires indiens… et les raclettes usagées. Ainsi qu’un réglage du pressoir de douche… 1 seconde est trop peu pour se frotter correctement ! 😉

camping très calme ,convivial,en pleine nature .Nous avons apprécié l'ambiance qui y régnait.Nous avions un très joli chalet recent et très bien exposé.
Petit bemol pour la piscine trop petite et pas equipée de sanitaires.
Le chalet était parfait,joli, ,bien équipé ,bien isolé ,climatisé avec un extérieur spacieux et verdoyant. Le coin plancha au top.
