Everything from checkin, to facilities and proximity to town was fantastic. The shuttle bus was a fantastic experience as well in some tough weather.

Michael Shiel Mountain biking was excellent.
Evening entertainment too loud. Evening entertainment too late music and noise often later than 23:30. Poor customer service by reception staff - particularly the older, more senior ones. Showers nowhere to keep clothes dry. Noisy evening entertainment every night. Swimming pool music too loud during the day. Bracelets for payment - please use cash. No refunds- terrible customer service. No adult exercise area.

The campsite is very well looked after and the staff are so friendly! To be able to explore the region this is the perfect base! We visited this site 5 years ago and had fond memories, actually this stay exceeded our expectations! A great pool, café/bar, restaurant as well as take away pizza as an option. Combined with a free bus into town I cannot suggest anything that could have made our holiday better! Thank you to all the staff at the campsite for your friendliness and professionalism! We will be back, and we won't wait for another 5 years!
Having your own bathroom facilities makes a huge difference and having shade under a tree is perfect.
The ground can be very hard if you need to use ground pegs, even heavy duty pegs were bending! The pitch dimensions meant that we struggled to pitch our trailer tent in the best way, 4.5 x 9m needs a relatively long pitch but these were occupied. Regardless we adjusted and this did not have a negative impact on the holiday, just an observation.

We loved or stay here again (5th time visiting) the only negative this year was the site was very noisy during the night. Bikes riding around well past midnight, noisy families. I feel that this needs looking into. We haven’t experienced this on previous visits.

No tree shadows in the pitch, too much hot for summer. And the bathroom was not cleaned during one week.

Wir hatten ein 4 Personen Bunglow vom 5. - 12. April gemietet, also gleich zur Saisoneröffnung. Alles war soweit in Ordnung und bereit für die Gäste. Sehr bequeme Betten, gute Küchenausrüstung und genügend Tücher und Abwaschutensilien waren vorhanden.
Leider waren aufgrund der Saisoneröffnung noch nicht alle Vorbereitungsarbeiten fertig gestellt. So kam beispielsweise morgens um 0800 der Schreiner und reparierte bei allen Bungalows die Zugangstore der Terasse und liess die Späne ungereinigt am Boden. Auch war das WC undicht, mit der Konsequenz, dass der Boden unter der WC-Schüssel ständig nass war. Leider dichten auch die Duschtüren nicht richtig ab, wodurch sehr viel Wasser beim Duschen an den Boden gelangt und alles nass wird. Für Warmwasser musste man fast 5 Min das Wasser laufen lassen, was sehr mühsam war (duschen und abwaschen).

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal bei Ihnen und schätzen die gemütliche Atmosphäre und die schöne Anlage.
Kurze Wege zum Pool, zum Restaurant und zum Parkplatz. Dass wir unsere Fahrräder in einem sicheren Raum einstellen konnten. Im Sommer mag die Lage dieses Studios gut sein, jetzt im Frühling hätten wir uns eine sonnigere Lage gewünscht.
Es bräuchte unbedngt besseres Licht im Wohnraum und Lampen beim Bett (Nachttischlampen) wären für uns zumindest ebenfalls eine Notwendigkeit. Zudem sollten bei der Reinigung alle Lampen kurz auf ihre Funktion überprüft werden: Die vor dem Schrank funktionierte gar nicht, beim Dampfabzug und oberhalb des Lavabos nur je eine von zwei.
