Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoFriendly staff, very clean site all plants well maintain swimming pool area absolutely spot-on we’d like the pictures that we were on which were very well maintained and all in all had a lovely holiday
Then improvement would be better voltage on the pitch because it kept dropping To blow 200 V, which causes our fridge in the caravan not to work.
Pitch wellMaintained and lovely with hedges around and trees

The campsite is well kept, beautifully planted and the facilities are very good. The newly refurbished shower block was excellent.
Greater enforcement of the rules about being quiet after 11pm as some campers are incredibly inconsiderate.
Excellent location and size. Very close to the river.

We really enjoyed the pool complex, lots of different options and the lifeguard and animations team were excellent. Kids really loved the playground and the go-kart rental was a big hit. We took advantage of a canoeing trip direct from the site and had a great day out with pick-up from Les Eyzies and back to the campsite. Our closest sanitary block was very clean and modern.
Unfortunately we found the sanitary block had no hot water on 2 of the 4 evenings we stayed. This meant we had to have cold showers and wash our dishes in cold water which is very disappointing for a 5 star campsite. Expect to have to queue for a shower as there aren't really enough given the size of the campsite. I felt that the bar and restaurant were small for the size of the site. We booked canoeing direct from the site, unfortunately there was no staff member at the equipment hut on site so we were left to kit ourselves out with lifejackets etc. Not ideal. We probably won't return
Large pitch, plenty of space and some shade.
Very expensive to stay here, its the most expensive campsite we've ever stayed on and felt it was not really worth the money.

The pool area is by far the best I have ever seen at a camp site. The whole place was amazingly clean with a renovated toilet block.
The site has a very small bar area where it also serves as the restaurant seating. This also doubles as the evening entertainment area. Nine times out of ten you got a ticket on the table to say it was reserved normally from 6.00pm -7.00pm. It was virtually impossible to get a seat after this to watch the entertainment with many people having to stand at the back. Also could do with offering pizza on the take away as limited choice. Would not give ice in water from the bar although it was a heat wave. Only one size soft pump drink so worked out very expensive.
Pitch was perfect size although would recommend a motor mover if not confident of reversing

The site is beautiful. The facilities are spotlessly clean.
Somewhere is needed for teenagers in an evening (Not mikeys) Somewhere on site they can sit and chat without being moved on. Also. If there is a time the site needs to be quiet from this needs to be monitored. On more than one occasion groups of Dutch teenagers were playing loud music and shouting on the football field till 3am.
Shady pitch. Very private.

We first visited this site in 1997 and it just keeps getting better.
Water pressure in the renovated shower block was variable but work was going on to rectify this.
Nice secluded pitch with water and electricity nearby, good size with easy access.
It's a lng way to drive, back to the site entrance, to dispose of grey waste.
Dear Durkin family, What a joy to know that, after 28 years, you still enjoy our little corner of Paradise! Every year, we strive to make small and big improvements so that your stays are always as pleasant as possible. We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience with the water pressure in the sanitary block, and we sincerely thank you for letting us know — your feedback helps us do better. We look forward to welcoming you back soon for another memorable stay. Team Le Paradis 5*

Campsite is very pretty and well located to explore different parts of the Dordogne. Fresh bread and croissants helpful.
We were kept awake most nights by music playing loudly from other pitches ....until after midnight. We were three nights in one pitch and two nights in another pitch by the river. The one morning the people next to us decided to pick up their caravan and started packing up at 4am, making a very loud noise for a long time. Even though the campsite was nice we feel that we could have been staying in the middle of a busy city, which was not what we expected when we paid for the site. The site is expensive compared to other campsites so we feel ripped off.
Big enough for us
Not enough shade . We booked in December and we were never advised that we could choose a kitchen. The people next to us told us that they phoned only a few months before their arrival date and chose the pitch they wanted. I don't understand why we were treated differently as this is not right.
Dear Saayman family, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We're glad you appreciated the location of the campsite and our fresh bread service. We’re sincerely sorry to hear that your experience was disrupted by noise from nearby pitches. While we do our best to encourage a peaceful environment, we regret that this affected the quality of your stay. Your feedback will help us reinforce our vigilance during night hours. Regarding the pitch selection, we strive to accommodate preferences as best we can, and we're sorry if this wasn’t clearly communicated at the time of your booking. We'll make sure to improve transparency in this area. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide a more relaxing experience. Team Le Paradis*****

Overall a well maintained family run site, beautiful gardens, lovely swimming pools for all ages, sanitary blocks were kept sparkling, indeed one was refurbished and reopened during our stay, staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Whilst the pitches were well shaded and spacious with water, drainage and electric, ample space for awning with a canopy and car although it was a little tight to manoeuvre a twin axle in position down the cul-de-sac other than with a motor mover.
Dear James Family, Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beauty of our gardens, the swimming pools and the cleanliness of our sanitary facilities. It was a pleasure to welcome you, and we hope to see you again soon at Camping Le Paradis. Team Le Paradis*****

Perfect for adults and children, perfectly maintained, clean and safe. Friendly atmosphere and terrific location. Most relaxing holiday I have had in a long time knowing the 14yr old was totally safe being independent in the campsite. Thank you!
Clean, practical and good AC but need fan that is provided to circulate the air into the bedrooms
A bedside table with a drawer would be handy. Very little space to store your food in a cupboard.

Atmosphere, weather, happy hour, staff, great cycling base.
Recommend 4 mins for a shower but it took a long time for warm water to come through waisting water.
Good pitch

Lovely site in a perfect place to explore the Dordogne. The whole site is well maintained with a lovely pool area. The bar and restaurant is in its own courtyard which gives the impression of being separate from the site. Throughout the site there are beautifully maintained garden areas.
There were a couple of times when we had to queue for a toilet. Maybe the other toilet block was still closed? I was concerned that there was very little grass on our plot which would have very quickly turned to mud if it rained (fortunately didn't). Whilst the site has a good recycling/bio/organic policy it surprisingly does not require campers to have perforated ground sheets to allow the grass to grow underneath.
Large quiet plot in a location sheltered by trees. Perfect
I would have welcomed more grass on the plot. See my previous comment.
Dear family Gingell, thank you for this lovely review, we are glad that you appreciated the areas and the facilities in our campsite. We apologize for the occasional wait at the toilets — one of the sanitary blocks was still closed during this period, because of renovation work. Regarding the grass on your pitch, thank you for your feedback. We hope to welcome you again soon!
