Camping Le Paradis

Pool is fab. The river is beautiful. Whole site is clean and well cared for. The morning pastries are lovely and staff are very helpful. Go karts were well loved.

More washing machines and dryers. There was a queue every day to use the 3/2 for public use.

Grass on the pitches. Stop campers from putting polythene down which kills the grass.

We were put right next to the sess pit -fos which smelt really bad, could not sit outside and we had to ask to be moved. Secondly large groups of people taking over the eating area each night. Large groups of teenagers roaming campsite and hanging out at toilets night time, intimidating for younger children.

Where do I start. This is the first time we have been to France and Camping Le Paradis and we absolutely loved it. The staff are amazing, the facilities are second to none and it has such a great feeling too.

It’s a perfect site. Excellent facilities and very welcoming staff and the Kuster family. We have visited the campsite14 times over the last 31 years, now visiting with our grown up family and their children. It’s lovely particularly as it is a small site with a lovely friendly atmosphere. We hope to continue to visit in the future.

As always, Le Paradis lives up to its 5 stars. The beautiful grounds and pool are pristine, facilities are clean and well maintained and the food and drink are of the highest quality. We come every year and are never disappointed.

If I was being really picky, I’d suggest the take away options be expanded, especially when the wildfires have taken away the option to barbecue at the accommodations.

The whole site is beautifully maintained, the pool area is a highlight! Nicest facilities we’ve ever had on a campsite. The river and the kayak trips are such a bonus to have onsite. Overall a really great campsite and we will definately be back.

3 washing machines for a campsite that size isn’t enough. Also the kayaks being left at the access point to the river causes chaos as they aren’t collected frequently. Dangerous having them stacked on the slope and provides minimal access to the river.

Great location lovely swimming pools welcoming staff great bar and restaurant area.

There is nothing that I can think of that requires further improvement.

Everywhere is so looked after, it feels a joy to be in. Friendly welcoming team who clearly all love working there. The main thing is I love how much of the campsite is still dedicated to vans, tents, caravans, trailers - traditional camping and not been given away to chalets like many sites in France. I think this is partly due to the flood risk but please don’t ever change this.

The older toilet block is still great and clean but the new one is amazing, so it’d be great to have the other one updated in time

This campsite is exactly what you would hope for from a campsite. Private green pitches, beautiful landscaping, everywhere immaculate, friendly staff, beautiful pools, activities and entertainment if you want to enjoy them but don’t intrude if you don’t.

Nicely situated next to the river and places to visit nearby. We particularly appreciated the efforts to be environmentally conscious and the thought given to the planting. We enjoyed the meals we had in the on-site restaurant.

Some of the table tennis tables were close to the bin area where it smelt of rubbish.

Le Paradis is a wonderful campsite. Family owned and operated, they take care of every detail. The facilities are of a high standard. Grounds, flora and fauna beautiful. The Vézère river easily accessible. Plenty of things to do either on site if locally in the surrounding towns and villages. The team are all very kind and helpful. The pools are fantastic and the activities for children excellent. The evening events are great fun. My family and I have been visiting for years and love Le Paradis.

On site menu options (eat in and takeaway) are limited and did used to be much better. Everything is very expensive.

My wife is vegetarian so burger or salmon her only two options so maybe a couple of more choices would be nice

I loved my visit to Le Paradis. The team are extremely helpful, the environment beautiful, and facilities excellent.

Some more shade around the kids playpark would be great I would appreciate a few more organised activities for adults. I miss the days when there were more sporting events, such as organised volleyball.

Great to be by the river in a nicely planted campsite…near attractive villages and countryside.

Not keen on ball games allowed in both big pools - couldn’t there be one without?

Have not been camping for many years but went with our family and stayed for three nights. The site was excellent plus facilities. Very clean and you could tell the whole site was looked after very well

Hyggelig og imøtekommende personale, alltid positiv og hjelpsom. Svært gode fasiliteter, rent og pent overalt. Gode plasser for campingvogn med god skjerming og sol. Vi kommer garantert tilbake, gleder oss allerede. Topp score 😊

The landscaping is stunning, flowers and scents everywhere. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, as are the other campers. We love the bar and restaurant and the animations are very good quality

Reduced menu in the restaurant, still great food though! It just meant we went out to eat more for variety

Yet again we had a wonderful time at the site this year, the facilities are second to none and the staff are excellent fun and friendly. This is our second year there on the same pitch,we wanted to rebook the same pitch before we left like we did last year but was told we couldn't 😪😪

Only criticism I have is that the pitches could do with reseeding as we had a couple of nights time storms and our tent was covered in ground dirt and sand As a dog owner im very surprised that they dont have poo bag bins dotted around the site and one especially along the river bank walk as I did see a few just dropped on the floor But apart from that its definitely a A1 site ******
