This was a fishing trip with my grandsons we enjoyed it we fished the small lake plenty of small fish it was good sport we didn't have any look on the big lake though.
We arrived on Sunday I thought there was a shop on site it turned out to be a few things at reception I think a fully stocked shop would be a great advantage.
The accommodation was 5 star spotless clean and right beside the lake you couldn't ask for better.
The only thing I would say is I think there should be an electric kettle and a toaster it would be a nice addition.

Lovely clean and well maintained Staff very friendly.
A kettle would be good as we dont drink coffee so had to boil water in a pan. Something to make toast with would be good too. No sun brollys at pool to get into the shade

We liked the location, the facilities and staff. Everything was very new and looked after.
£75 cleaning fees!!! REALLY??? we left the place as tidy and clean as you possibly can. No mess, nothing ! And even so, we were charged £75 on top of booking fees, which we found outrageous and disappointing.

Loved the large swimming pool and the rural location of the site. It was very peaceful
The small toilet block near the camping pitches is outdoors and there’s no segregation for women/men. There are no toilet seats! Hot water in the sinks was not very hot and sinks are for handwashing AND pit washing.

Thank you for your message. The small toilets are only outside, but the large toilets a little higher up are heated, and we've had all the toilet seats stolen, so we don't use them any more. As for the hand-washing facilities and washbasins, we can't stand behind each person to tell them where to wash their hands. We clean the toilets 2 or 3 times a day! We do everything we can to ensure that our guests enjoy their stay as much as possible. Kind regards - Véronique

Stayed at this site some years ago and this time used it for a short stopover before returning home. The site is quiet and all facilities are kept clean and tidy, pitches are spacious and private but some especially in the lower area are not suitable for twin axle caravans due to their access. There is a good choice of food from the restaurant but found drinks expensive compared to other sites, the pool is OK and partially covered. The roads leading to the site from both directions are quite narrow slightly wider than single track.
Arriving at 16:00, we found that the reception is not always manned, therefore spent 15 minutes trying to find someone to check us in, not great after a 5 hour journey (couldn't use Cool'nCamp app). The partially covered swimming pool tends to be quite noisy, deafening at times and not really the place to relax. The bird enclosure/coupe as you enter the site is outdated and unsightly, requires a total upgrade or removing completely. The outdoor seating area by the bar and restaurant is looking a little tired and in need of refurb.
Our pitch (200) was very private and quiet and large enough for a caravan and awning, sunny throughout the day with welcome shade in the evening.
Access to the pitch was not really suitable for a twin axle caravan, being in the corner required reversing approx 30m. The low hanging tree branches scraped on the caravan roof, could do with trimming.

nettles on pitch a problem - no toilet seats - the showers not instantly hot enough so cool/cold water wasted whilst coming to temprature - - the loo block near us needed upgrading - 2 x 10 mins a day for showers would have been nice we like to shower night and day when camping -
privacy fantastic - I wish it had been clearer that there was no grey waste or water point on the actual pitch - loved the 'quiet time rule' and it was kept by everyone

Mostly French people, shutting out people of other languages. No boulangerie bread, just bake-off.
Satisfactory, but nothing more than that.
Strange you're paying for cleaning, but you have to leave the cabin as you received it. Feels like you still have to clean everything.

Amazing campsite. Everything was great about it apart from the cleanliness of the toilets. Toilet roll would run out by the morning. Lack of hand soap. Pitch sizes were brilliant, bouncy castles, farm, swimming pool were all great, our kids loved everything about the campsite. More English posters might be needed in and around Reception. We loved this campsite so much!

When we were there (4 and 5 July) it was not very busy yet. We were welcomed friendly. The place for the camper was really spacious. Toilets and showers were neat and clean. It is a real family campsite, so I can imagine that if you come for peace and quiet in the high season, it is not suitable.

Ondanks recensies over drukte bleek deze camping nog een heerlijk rustige plek eind juni. Vriendelijk ontvangst bij receptie. Ruime plekken, sanitair oke, gewoon netjes. Douches met elektrisch aftellen systeem is even wennen en werkt prima. Fijn verwarmd zwembad. Winkeltje en bar-restaurant geen gebruik van gemaakt. Dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is op ca 9km dus niet binnen handbereik.
Camping met veel vakantiewoningen en grote Glamping verblijven daar tussen de kampeerdersplekken. De sfeer van het echte kamperen is daardoor minder gezellig. Het deel met de dieren daar heb ik wat moeite mee. Op mij kwamen de pony en ezel nogal triest over. Of het een fijne plek voor de dieren is vraag ik mij af
Wij hadden een zeer grote plek afgebakend met hagen, heel fijn. De plek was zo groot dat de grootste camper of caravan er nog ruim op kan staan.
