Quiet, clean campsite
The pitch was wide and the washroom nearby and clean.

Shady pitch - access to all amenities
The walk to the beach was much longer than 450 metres in my world. Also, when I arrived at 14:40 hours the staff ignored me and only engaged with me when I said I had a booking. I think there expectation was I should come back later… most odd. Having said that very organised and professional setup

We booked this site as it was very close to an all year round dog friendly beach which didn’t disappoint. Shower block was clean with plenty of hot water

A very peaceful site with easy walk to dog friendly beach. Facilities were always kept spotlessly clean.
Shade from the trees was useful at times

Clean pitch for the campervan, with a lot of nice shade from the beautiful trees on site. It’s a small campsite which makes it feel calm and relaxing. Close to the beach and well located on the island that you can reach most villages easily on bike.
The bathroom and toilets were old, smelly and quite dirty. This was a shame, because if they were better the campsite would be really great.
Big pitch for the campervan, plenty of shade from trees above to keep the heat out. Felt nice to be surrounded by the trees and gardens.

Loved being able to explore the island by bike. Had the peace of a site outside the village, a short walk over the dunes to a beautiful beach but near enough to get to everywhere easily.
Good size pitch with a hedge for privacy and a large pine tree for shade. Washing line provided by the site for everyone to use.
Got caught out by leaving some things unprotected from bird droppings from the tree!

Accès plage direct ,sentiers pédestres pour aller faire ses courses. Mobil home ombragé super. Le personnel est très agréables. J'y reviendrais

Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz und das Zentrum von Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré mit Boulangerie, Carrefour und Markt ist auch nicht weit entfernt.
Ich war vor rund 40 Jahren schon einmal auf der Il de Ré. Meiner Erinnerung gab es damals deutlich weniger Algen im Meer. Was das betrifft, gibt es an der französischen Atlantikküste schönere Standorte.
