Camping LA SAFRIERE

Idéal pour visiter la Baie de Somme à vélo ou par voiture. Tout semble identique à mes précédentes visites : calme, paysages pittoresques et faune préservée.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this well located campsite. There were games and equipment to keep the children entertained and other residents were friendly. It is very well located for local cycle tracks.

On a few occasions the hot water in the showers was intermittent.

Lovely rural site, very pleasant owners who kindly let us arrive at 11am. Good size pitch. Beautiful plants and trees and full of bird life - absolutely gorgeous. Bread van on site at 8am every morning except Sunday. Our pitch was a fair distance from the facilities, which were tired and dated but clean. Close to wonderful cycle path into Le Crotoy and Saint Valery - both beautiful and worth a visit. Saint Valery has a market on a Sunday.

The down side for us was there was nothing to really walk to. No pavements and just one very small bar in the next village..

if some toilet showers could be closer be great

Great family oriented camp site, friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities (mini golf, bouncing castle, etc - and free!) for the kids. Liked very much the bread service arriving each morning ;-)

I have only one 'issue', I think there should be hand washing soap in the toilets - After covid we shouldn't be promoting people to be going to the toilet and not washing their hands - We're always telling kids (and sadly some adults also need to be told!) to wash their hands, so it doesn't help if there isn't soap to facilitate that... Not an issue, but maybe a 'nice-to-have' - some chilled drinks and/or ice creams available in the reception - given the distance to local shops/restaurants, maybe a little more choice of available products?

Camping Places well secluded and large.

Beautiful setting, lovely and quiet within eash biking reach to La Crotoy and St Valerh Sa Somme.

Although dated sanitaires were very clean only enhancement woukd be soap but seems to be the norm in french campsites

The owners were very helpful, it was quiet and peaceful but close enough to a cycle route into Le Crotoy

We have stayed on many campsites during our travels in Normandie. This was our favourite. Large private pitches. Very quiet as there are only a few pitches ( most are permanent) and no bar/ pool etc . Friendly owner’s accommodating our poor French and little shop on site . Great bread from the visiting Boulangerie van.

Easy online booking and helpful check in. Lovely peaceful spot with super market nearby.

i am being honest i could stay at the campsite but you must improve the hot water facilities in the shower area and dishwashing area

Very helpful staff. Will definitely return. We even stayed extra nights.

Sehr ruhiger schön angelegter Campingplatz

Le calme, les grands emplacements, les sanitaires très bien entretenus, les parcelles bien entretenues également, l'accueil chaleureux et serviable, le pain délivré jusqu'aux emplacements et l'offre de distraction pour ceux qui ont des enfants. Pour les cyclistes, l'accès très facile au réseau de pistes cyclables.

De l'eau un peu plus chaude pour la vaisselle et un accès a Internet dans tout le camping.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans ce camping ! Les emplacements sont spacieux, bien ombragés et offrent une réelle intimité, sans aucun vis-à-vis. Quel plaisir de s’installer dans un cadre aussi paisible, bercé par le chant des oiseaux. Les extérieurs sont parfaitement entretenus. Un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer en pleine nature. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Nous avons remarqué que les sanitaires gagneraient à être modernisés et qu’ils sont parfois un peu justes en nombre aux heures de pointe. Cela permettrait d’améliorer encore davantage le confort des campeurs.
