This friendly, well run, peaceful campsite is a great holiday spot. It never feels crowded, the surrounding areas are great to visit using bikes which the site are able to source for you, The pool & food services make camping a little more luxurious.
Quiet pitch, with fridge, bbq and chairs

We had a wonderful 4 nights. Been here many times over the last 30 years and it is always a pleasure to return. We have many wonderful memories of family times and just the two of us now. Our late son loved this site. Very friendly atmosphere from staff to visitors. We had a lake side pitch which made it more special. The weather also played ball. We always try to stop here when we are in Normandy.
Only comment would be to request more choices on the restaurant menu and to allow side options extras to be purchased with main meals.
Lakeside pitch is always worth requesting but most pitches are absolutely fine.

The campground is built into a 6-hectare old orchard and wooded park surrounding a Louis XVI château.Lakeside The pitches are spacious and landscaped with lots of greenery. Campers can choose pitches right on the banks of the central fishing lake.Roaming Animals: Ducks swim on the lake, while chickens, friendly goats, and loose rabbits wander freely around the property, adding a rustic farm-like charm. Lots for children to do. Lovely pool area. Bar and restaurant also on site. Modern spacious Shower block. Highly recommend this site.
Well kept pitches. Good size. All individual

The site is nature based, with a wood on one side on the hill which provides clean air. The goats and fowl in front of reception are delightful. The digester is an excellent idea for carbon neutral electricity. The staff are friendly and helpful, even fixed the rickety chairs we brought with us, by tightening up the screws that held it together The swimming pool was wonderful relief during an unexpected heatwave
You can't improve on a camp site where everyone works together to provide a good experience.
The facilities were fine. Enough room and pleasant well arranged accommodation. The kitchen area was well appointed and provided with all the essentials. The shower room worked well with plenty of room. We were able keep our bedroom cool overnight. The outdoor area was very pleasant.

Not a small campsite but with generous pitches you felt as if you were on a small farm campsite. We had a very large pitch over looking the lake which was perfect. One thing I liked was you could choose your own pitch rather than being told which pitch you have to go on. The pool was very welcome as the temperature was touching 40 degrees. Overall a beautiful campsite is gorgeous countryside.
Though the showers near the play area were lovely and modern we couldn’t turn the temperature down low, in some the button to operate the shower was too far from the shower head to reach it easily and in a couple of the showers it only ran for a few seconds so we had to change cubicles. But they were spotlessly clean.
Good spacious pitch. Plenty of shade.
Nothing to dislike.

Spacious pitches with bbq, parasol, table and chairs. We had a premium pitch with water and electricity. Lovely pool. Friendly and a well stocked shop.
The restaurant served okay food - starter and puddings very good, the mains we both had were very basic
Size and location with wild raspberries during our stay

We loved the campsite. It is beautifully landscaped, the staff and owners were very welcoming. The restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere with great meals at a very reasonable price. The chalet was clean and fully equipped with a generously sized decking area. It was a very calm, relaxing holiday, and fun to see the rabbits, goats and chickens.
Maybe bar could be open for couple of hours in the evening
Clean, fully equipped, comfortable, with great veranda.

Spacious garden, cozy kitchen with bar, kitchen equipment adequate. We had a fantastic stay!
We brought our own mosquito net for the beds, this was a wise decision. Not a comment, more an advice for future guests. Maybe a fan for the heat waves of the future?

A beautifully landscaped site in the grounds of an old chateau. We pitched by the lake and saw a kingfisher! Staff were wonderful - really helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We’re so glad we went. The staff were welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The site is beautiful, spotlessly clean and well maintained and the heated open air pool was a huge plus. The owners Manor House sits within the campsite and there’s a bar in one of the downstairs rooms. It wasn’t yet open but we looked in and couldn’t believe how trusting the owners were to let strangers into there house and home. The whole ethos of the site restores your faith in human nature. One of the best campsites we’ve ever been to, a credit to the whole team.
Can you get some more Kingfishers please, we only saw one ! 🤣
Pitches are great, big choice. Near the loo’s, near the pool, near the pond or quiet and tucked away etc etc Some pitches are quite a distance from electric points so bear this in mind if you have a choice.

The whole site is beautifully maintained and a pleasure to walk around, and I liked the environmental care ethos. The animals are a fantastic part of the place, and it was obvious that they were adored by the parents as much as the children. The restaurant is excellent, and the takeaway pizzas are quite simply the best I have ever tasted. The morning bread and pastry deliveries were much appreciated, and I already miss the Pain au chocolat!
The location was great, and certainly adequate. The shower was good.
The loo was somewhat small.

As always a friendly welcome, very pleasant owners and staff.
Some parts of roadway narrow with overhanging trees could cause damage to a large unit.
A great pitch

So much character. The opposite of most caravan or camping sites! Where else could you play table tennis listening to a woodpecker. All the pitches are different, amazing trees, lake, flowers,
Don't change anything!
Views.
Don't come if you want lots of lights and noise at night!

What can I say! Our first visit here - and unfortunately for only 5 nights. A beautiful site with really friendly and welcoming owners. Rest assured we will be back...and for much longer!

Beautiful campsite, good size pitches, lovely lake side and castle view
Showers are impossible to use, they stay only on for a few seconds, we understand the idea behind saving water But they could be stay on for about a minute or so
We stayed with a caravan, nice level pitch on the lake side
