Happy returning customer since many years
Its the first time for me after many years in Boulangcourt to stay close to the roadside/river. The toilets are quite far from the pitches here, but most annoying where the church bells that are really really loud at night. You would expect them not to ring between 10pm and 7am , but they do. Even twice every hour....crazy. I know it probably takes effort to discuss with the local town, but It would be well worth trying

We love how quiet the camp site is, and how much freedom you can give your children as it’s so safe and friendly. Everyone is just lovely.
Our shower was so hot that you couldn’t stand under it and the kids had to use the campsite showers.
Small, but everything you needed. Love the outside space.

When arrived we were greeted with a smile and showen where the facilities and recycling was. An advantage os that we could park our car next to our tent. This campsite has all the facilities needed for a group of friends or families. An advantage for Boulders, it is located in the heart of all bouldering areas. I would definitely come again.
We went with a group of 4 friends with two tents. We parked our car next to the tents Toilets and showers where cleaned daily.

As enthusiastic climbers we have been visiting the campsite for more than 30 (!) years, but now, for the first time, we rented a cottage: "Les Trois Pignons". Autumn, cold nights and a 2 year old in the group made us choose this option. It was good! The wooden chalet was big enough for 6 persons and had everything we needed: three seperate bedrooms (with simple beds), a kitchen, toilet & shower. -The team is very friendly. -We really like the ecological approach. -The campsite,toilets, showers etc. are tidy and clean. -The possibility to rent crashpads is great!
We have the feeling that the space for tents is getting smaller and smaller. That's a pity. When we visit in spring we want to pitch our own tents and we don't want to feel "squeezed in" between caravans and huts.
Wood is nice. Big enough for 6 people. Seperate bedrooms. Good kitchen and kitchen-ware. Simple beds, but good mattresses and duvets.
The cottage is quite dark. A few more lamps would have been convenient. A few small shelves in de bathroom and more hooks in the other rooms would also be handy. The shower is VERY small, so we also used the showers in the service building. The stove is quite small when you want to cook for 6 people.

Loved the serenity and the narure of the campsite.
The owner changed the code to the entrance and did not inform the staf or guests.
Loved the location, Private bathroom was great (could use a fan to get rid of the mouister) Every morning we've got ducks visiting us.

Lovely Staff, very clean, the ducks around the camping are a plus.
Soap dispenser in the toilet is extremely weak.

Such a lovely campsite. Very clean and really peaceful. We were a big group with of tents and vans etc We could all stay nearby each other. And had everything we needed.
It was all lovely. The only thing that could be nice is a place to recycle cooking gas canisters - maybe we just didn’t see the right place.

Ive been to 4 of the Buthiers/Font surrounding campsites, at this point I will only be going back to Boulancourt, from the fresh bread to the river its a peaceful spot for familys and climbers alike. They slightly pool ages in certain areas to keep noise levels contained. Amazing reception, hospitality and good vibes.
Confusing pitch options for tent camping, there are 2 options. One is Tent + car the other is Pitch + Tent + Car.. what is the difference ?

Camping very quiet between the trees, shower and toilets always clean. Not too crowdy and big places with privacy..friendly owner,good explenation at arrival. Common fridge and freezer in the common guest room.

A lovely setting with good facilities and very friendly helpful staff. Great value for a campsite close to the bouldering areas and good modern clean facilities.
Our tent pitch was a good sized space, in a quiet spot. Near a river and with fresh drinking water nearby. The staff were really helpful and very flexible in helping us out.
The walk to the toilet block was a little long for small children in a hurry at night. We were invaded by ants but a good clear out and extra vigilance in keeping food off the tent floor helped keep them at bay after that.

Evberything about this place is off the scale amazing. The location, the facilities, the staff, just cannot say enough good things about ile de Boulancourt.

Wonderful location, everybody can use a big place, good prices, a helpful nice boy at the reception. We were very satisfied with our stay in the camping and we would like to repeat this experience.
