Camping de Thoissey - Val de Saône

Accommodation was good for an overnight stay. We stayed in one of the 'kegs'. Nice surroundings, good for cycling. At the end of May, pool was closed, and the campsite seemed to run at 50%.

Restaurant could have been better.

Delightful setting next to the river. Two excellent restaurants within five minutes walk and a pleasant stroll along the river bank to the village. Facilities a bit basic but clean and functional (unisex). Helpful staff and peaceful overnight.

Chemical disposal requires upgrade. More access to fresh water points.

Not much

All the water points around our pitch were off, was advised that the snack bar was open but it was closed.

A relaxed stay surrounded by lush greenery. The pitch plots were generous and the camping community were very respectful. Toilet and shower facilities were good and well maintained. A lovely stay. Thank you!

More bins as campsite is large

It was a pleasant site but just a bit shabby needs a good tidy up and may be the night lights need changing to bright people where nice just needs an up grade

It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing.

The showers serving plot 55 would be improved with a few more hooks on which to hang clothes whilst showering.

I stayed for night, the toilets/showers where very clean. And the staff where very helpful, and bilingual.

Stayed two nights on two dates in August, nice bar by the river and a restaurant terrace above the pool complex.

The restaurant meal was average on the first stay but was much improved on the second.

Excellent camping with good facilities

The bivouac on stilts was fantastic. We booked it due to an approaching thunderstorm and it was warm and dry. .loved the bread delivery in the morning. Toilets and showers clean. A nice bar nearby.

The hatch door at the top of the ladder did not secure properly and slammed twice. Luckily we weren't injured. I told the manager, just to let her know, and she said it hadn't happened before . That may be the case but it was a bit scary and it needs a better way of keeping it open.

Malheureusement, le bivouac étant proche de la clôture, les nuisances sonores de l’autre côté étaient insupportables(voitures et musique à fond). Le pire est que nous devions gérer nous mêmes en appelant la police alors qu’un responsable du camping était sur place. Inadmissible.

A vrai dire pas grand chose si ce n'est la bonne volonté du personnel

Infrastructures

Très beau camping, un espace vélo génial, ombragé. Un snack, et au bord de la voie bleue et de la Saône. Je recommande vivement

Sans avis

Franchement resto privatisé le samedi soir sans prévenir donc quand on vient de faire plusieurs centaines de kilomètres et heures de voiture et que l'on arrive au camping à devoir trouver des solutions pour se restaurer sans prendre son véhicule. Enfin après le resto pas d'accès à la piscine et tout ça sans remise sur tarif hébergement loué avec les infrastructures. Donc particulièrement déçu...... Enfin fiesta jusque 2 heures du matin à resto privatisé donc une nuit sans sommeil....

Leider hat uns nichts gefallen.

Sauberkeit im Waschhaus

Les places sont grandes, plates, ombragés. Les sanitaires propres et suffisants, l'accueil parfait, bref ...que du bonheur.
