Met at the reception by the most friendliest people who showed us our pitch number. Pitch size was huge with wonderful view of the lake. Sanitary facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean. Perfect washing up area with ample hot water. Fantastic heated outdoor infinity pool ares with lovely setting looking out across the lake. The area around the pool very clean and tidy. Fabulous restaurant and bar. The beef Bourgogne is a must. All in all this is a dream location that I would 100% recommend
We had pitch 45 which was huge. Lovely shaded areas from the various trees and also plenty of sun areas. The perfect pitch would certainly recommend this. Excellent.

This is a fantastic campsite with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was the highlight! This should definitely be a 5 star site.

Poor wifi, more space at restaurant on busy nights needed. When it is busy, there needs to be a better drinks service system than one person running in and out of the bar.

This campsite is family run and the pride which the owners and the staff take in their facility is obvious at every turn. The camping pitch with private facilities is the best we have ever had, level, shaded and spacious. The food in the bar restaurant is exceptional for a campsite, the staff are friendly and helpful. There is nature in abundance on the site. A relaxed vibe is infectious. The nearby village of Boussac has two decent supermarkets, good restaurants and twice weekly markets
It would be lovely to be able to have a coffee with some bread or pastries at the bar terrace in the morning
Pitch was huge, private and level. The private bathroom was modern with an abundance of hot water
The cupboard in which the gas bottle was stored had no catch to keep the door closed, just an irritation

We had a wonderful stay at Castel Château de Poinsouze. The whole campsite is exceptionally clean, tidy and beautifully maintained. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, making it a very peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few days. We're so glad we discovered the campsite at the Camping and Caravan Show at the NEC last year, as we probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. The location is wonderfully remote, which was exactly what we were looking for. If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace

We have stayed at Poinsouze many times now and every time we simply love the peaceful setting, warm welcome, superbly clean facilities and the great food. Again this year the team have improved the restaurant area and the site was really well presented.
The outside dinning area needs some effective shade as the sun goes down. It spoils a great evening if the sun is beating down on you while you are trying to eat. Some shade would be wonderful.
Pitch was great. As always. The shower block was also immaculate as it always is.

Once again we enjoyed our stay. An afternoon swim in the high temperatures was mist welcome , followed by a enjoyable meal at the restaurant.
A handrail along the path up to the pool would be great..

This is a very well presented campsite. "Classy"! Friendly welcome; glorious surroundings; excellent restaurant; pristine shower blocks. We came for 2 nights; we stayed for a week.
