We stayed for a long weekend on a cycling trip so only really needed a place for the tent with access to showers. Upon arrival, the reception staff were able to speak enough English to check us in. The site seems popular with families owing to the pool/lake and water slides. We did see the cleaners attending to the shower block.
Cash deposits are needed for both a car barrier key and also for the pay per minute shower key. The shower system is annoying, the one key provided is slotted into a meter at shower that turns it on and off when the key is removed. There were coin operated showers however this was not known until after we had placed the deposit for the key and loaded it with shower credit. The shower/toilet facilities are also tired
The camping pitch had electric hookup and was close to the toilet block. We could park the car next to the tent.
The camping pitch was not clearly defined, being tucked out of the way amongst a clearing in the trees. Having later explored the site, there appeared to be other much nicer looking camping areas available. There was considerable noise from the road that is consistent throughout the night. The toilet block only has cold water and there was no handwash nor hand dryer/paper towels.

To leave the Childrens indoor play park open all day ,, it was frustrating to have to ask each time for the door to be unlocked , and then always have to wait long periods for the Gentleman to arrrive to open / unlock the door and then he would complain to me about having to open / unlock the door doors
Good , unfortunately our accomodation had dirty bedding on the beds when we arrived , the oven had not been cleaned ,, and the chairs and table outside was a complete mix match of left over chairs - one of them is broken ,,, ( have 4 four chairs but have the same - not a mix )
Wi fi ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, its 2024 it was too complicated to log on , log in ,, its 2024 a simple star link would provide easy access to wi fi ,, and in todays worl wi fi should be free for every one to access

We arrived later than planned and office was closed, but the wardens were awaiting our arrival in the bar with the paperwork ready despite a mix up with the deposit which i had not paid.
Despite the very heavy rain the pitch drained quickly when the rain stopped.

I love the campsite and all its amenities, and the lake wasn’t even full, so we will definitely becoming back to swim in it. The staff were Al very welcoming and helpful. The location is beautiful and easy access to wonderful walking trails and nature reserves

Not the most dog friendly location, however no dogs beside the lake is a rule I understand. The tag system for the hot water is a bit of a pain, I would rather just pay a little more as part of the reservation.

Centraal gelegen met vele fietsroutes die gedeeld werden bij de vriendelijke incheck.
Het was tijdens ons verblijf zo enorm warm dat we daar meer mee bezig zijn geweest dan met het verblijf 🥴
Bosrijke omgeving.
Dat we met onze oude tekkel van 15 jaar aan het einde van het park werden gedumpt, terwijl voor aan het park ook ruimte was. We hadden dan meer gebruik kunnen maken van de faciliteiten

Die Parzellen für Wohnwagen sind sehr groß und nicht durch Hecken usw abgetrennt. Der Natur-Badeteich lädt zum Baden ein, ideal für Kinder, da es flach rein geht Kiosk hatte am Wochenende geöffnet, Essen war für uns sehr gut
Wenn Boule-Bahnen angeboten werden sollten diese auch gepflegt sein. Wir haben versucht zu spielen, Kugeln springen unkontrolliert durch die Gegend und landen nie dort wo sie hin sollen, Viel Unkraut auf den Bahnen. Die Wasserversorgung im Sanitär ist "gewöhnungsbedürftig". Es läuft nur nach Einstecken des "Schlüssels" (auch kalt), an den Duschen lässt sich die Temperatur gar nicht regulieren, bei den Außen-Temperaturen würde ich gerne auch mal kalt und kostenlos duschen.... geht nicht Die Rezeption kann keine Auskunft geben, wann der Imbiss geöffnet ist, Öffnungszeiten nicht angeschrieben

Alle waren sehr freundlich und es hat mir gut gefallen
Das abreisen mit einem Zelt um 11h ist etwas kompliziert ,da manchmal das Zelt feucht ist und evt nicht zeitig austrocknen kann.Da die Anreise erst ab 15h ist ,könnte man für zelte evt eine spätere Uhrzeit einplanen .Was etwas blöd war ,ich wollte den Tag noch dort verbringen und mußte Dan ein tagesticket noch zusätzlich einlösen.
Den Platz habe ich mir ausgesucht per Mail,da ich schon oft dort war ,das wurde mir auch sofort ohne Probleme erlaubt
