Genuinely warm and friendly hosts. Variety of pitch types, open or delineated. Hot showers. Good selection of one pot meals etc in small shop, ideal for velo campers like me. Chill out, sitting area and bar. Overall, a very relaxing friendly vibe.

We needed a short break from our never ending renovation project, so this place, just one hour from where we live, seemed ideal. And it really was! The owners were very friendly and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. It was very cold on the first night but we were cosy in our little den because of all the extra blankets they gave us.
All the facilities were exactly as described. Very clean and practical. The beds were very comfortable. Going to sleep with the sound of the babbling river was so restful.

A warm welcome from the friendly and helpful owners. A beautiful sheltered site in the valley bottom, beside the pretty river. Modern, clean facilities building. Bread and pastries can be ordered for the next morning. Excellent walking and cycling. Friendly donkey is pleased to meet guests.

I was finding it difficult to level my camping-car on the emplacement, so they moved me to a more level location. Very helpful.

Beautiful location. Beautiful locality. Friendly and helpful owners. Entrance to the site from the village at first is a bit daunting but easily done. Site well kept and maintained but a little basic but more than acceptable. Ignore satnav directions and enter from La Fouillerie direction.
Being a caravan owner the refilling of water barrel from the taps is is not easy. The only place to empty the grey water container was, as far as I could see, to trundle to the camper van service point. The water points need to have drains at there bases and not just a tap on a wooden post in an awkward location. The chemical disposal place is inadequate. Small, needing to lift the full container and no method of adequately cleaning the drain or the container.
We had a lovely large pitch that was relatively secluded and shady.
The electric hook-up leaves a lot to be desired, basically a hole in the ground with a concrete slab for a lid and a connector on the end of an armoured cable.

We had a camper spot with electricity, it was a good sized plot and made with hedging to be private

Excellent small site. Super clean Showers, Toilets and dish washing area, cleaned daily by hard working staff. Pizzas, bread and the biggest Pains au Raisin ever (!), available on daily basis (remember to order in time), small bar and shop with basics. Beautiful countryside if you want to explore further, including walking and cycling straight from site and water sports in nearby Pont d'Ouilly.
Please don't change anything
Hedged camping area gave adequate privacy (more open pitches further down the site) with electric plug up if requested. Enough shade from surrounding trees if needed whilst enjoying sunny pitch from morning to early evening.
Nothing for me though some may find the walk to the toilet block a bit further than they would like (ask for a closer pitch).

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil, la gentillesse, la tenue du camping, , le calme, le caractère bucolique et champêtre, la localisation entourée de randonnées et de sites naturels remarquables, les bonnes pizzas, un bon petit déjeuner, les bonnes bières, les toilettes ou le local poubelle très bien entretenus

L’accueil est très sympathique, l’endroit est calme, bien entretenue, très agréable et reposant. Nous avons pu dire bonjour à l’ânesse et aux brebis.

Accueil excellent! Cadre bucolique au bord de la Rouvre, calme. Un bon endroit pour se reposer ou pour se ressourcer et bien situé, pour une étape d'un soir ou pour plus longtemps en vue de sillonner dans le coin. Sanitaires propres. Accès à un espace couvert pour manger. Nous étions sous tente mais le camping propose différents types d'hébergement alternatifs intéressants.

Juste une idée : L'emplacement pourrait disposer d'un banc pour s'asseoir ou déposer les sacs à dos à l'abri de l'humidité du sol quand on replie la tente...

Petit hébergement sommaire, mais très fonctionnel avec le nécessaire pour un séjour au plus près de la nature. Couvertures supplémentaires disponibles si besoin.
