It was an excellent stay, with friendly owners, walking and cycling from the campsite.

I was finding it difficult to level my camping-car on the emplacement, so they moved me to a more level location. Very helpful.

Beautiful location. Beautiful locality. Friendly and helpful owners. Entrance to the site from the village at first is a bit daunting but easily done. Site well kept and maintained but a little basic but more than acceptable. Ignore satnav directions and enter from La Fouillerie direction.
Being a caravan owner the refilling of water barrel from the taps is is not easy. The only place to empty the grey water container was, as far as I could see, to trundle to the camper van service point. The water points need to have drains at there bases and not just a tap on a wooden post in an awkward location. The chemical disposal place is inadequate. Small, needing to lift the full container and no method of adequately cleaning the drain or the container.
We had a lovely large pitch that was relatively secluded and shady.
The electric hook-up leaves a lot to be desired, basically a hole in the ground with a concrete slab for a lid and a connector on the end of an armoured cable.

Excellent small site. Super clean Showers, Toilets and dish washing area, cleaned daily by hard working staff. Pizzas, bread and the biggest Pains au Raisin ever (!), available on daily basis (remember to order in time), small bar and shop with basics. Beautiful countryside if you want to explore further, including walking and cycling straight from site and water sports in nearby Pont d'Ouilly.
Please don't change anything
Hedged camping area gave adequate privacy (more open pitches further down the site) with electric plug up if requested. Enough shade from surrounding trees if needed whilst enjoying sunny pitch from morning to early evening.
Nothing for me though some may find the walk to the toilet block a bit further than they would like (ask for a closer pitch).

Love this region. Beautiful countryside with fabulous walks from the door. Campside is delightful, pitches spacious, cute cabin with all the extras necessary. Such a friendly welcome from Celine who makes you feel that you are an old friend

Cet endroit est tout simplement idyllique, très bien entretenu, calme avec des hôtes très accueillant.
Tiny house avec tout le confort disponible pour quelques nuits.

Cadre bucolique, proche de la rivière, avec des animaux sympathiques. Chambres et sanitaires très propres, accueil chaleureux avec de bons produits en vente, ambiance détendue et même un concert le soir de mon arrivée ! J'ai passé un super séjour, merci :)
Dommage de devoir quitter le camping à 10h le matin, cela fait un peu tôt pour les vacancier.e.s !
Hébergement simple mais confortable, avec tout le nécessaire (sauf allumettes ou briquet pour le camping gaz), très propre et cosy, avec une terrasse agréable.
Mini-volet en toile à la fenêtre qui laisse passer la lumière le matin.

Nous avons apprécié l'intimité de l'emplacement, la proximité de la rivière, la situation par rapport aux circuits de rando, le confort, l'accueil, le soin mis dans chaque détails du camping, le respect de l'environnement et les petits plats proposés à l'épicerie!
Avoir un auvent et une terrasse : le grand luxe pour nous avec un chien par temps de pluie. Très appréciable de pouvoir entrer/sortir de la tente sans crapahuter. L'emplacement est en bord de rivière, sans passage.

Prima camping, mooie plekken, schone comfortabel sanitair heel aardige camping eigenaren, schaakspel, niet van e tap en pizza's!.maar de bosuil en de ezel maken het grote verschil 😄

Toilet ver van het tenten veld, verlichting is te spaarzaam op weg naar het toilet.

Erg verzorgde plaatsen, veel groen en rust, schoon sanitair, veel keuze aan brood om te bestellen voor de ochtend
Onze staanplaats was ruim en mooi afgescheiden met een beukenhaag. Vlakbij het kleine riviertje, dus we hoorden het water. Erg donker op de camping 's nachts, weinig lichtvervuiling.

De camping ligt aan de rivier de Rouvre, midden in een schitterend natuurgebied. De camping is goed bereikbaar, maar de weg ernaartoe loopt via een helling. Voor caravans of campers is het handig om vanuit het dorp Rouvrou aan te rijden. De ontvangst door de eigenaren was ontzettend hartelijk: we voelden ons meteen welkom. Het sanitair is keurig schoon en goed onderhouden en er zijn leuke voorzieningen zoals buitenspelletjes, lokale producten en de heerlijke pizza
We kunnen niks bedenken dat verbeterd zou moeten worden:-)
De kampeerplekken zijn ruim, speels opgezet en vaak afgebakend met heggen, wat zorgt voor privacy én gezelligheid. Er is voldoende zon en schaduw, en de plekken aan de rivier zijn werkelijk prachtig. Wij stonden heerlijk onder de bomen met uitzicht op het water – echt zalig!
Eigenlijk niets:-) We hadden juist spijt dat we niet langer geboekt hadden, zo fijn was het!!

Camping avec des arbres et bien aménagé, au bord du GR. Calme et propre. La petite épicerie, dépôt de pain et pizzas sont un plus appréciable
