Beautiful location. Beautiful locality. Friendly and helpful owners. Entrance to the site from the village at first is a bit daunting but easily done. Site well kept and maintained but a little basic but more than acceptable. Ignore satnav directions and enter from La Fouillerie direction.
Being a caravan owner the refilling of water barrel from the taps is is not easy. The only place to empty the grey water container was, as far as I could see, to trundle to the camper van service point. The water points need to have drains at there bases and not just a tap on a wooden post in an awkward location. The chemical disposal place is inadequate. Small, needing to lift the full container and no method of adequately cleaning the drain or the container.
We had a lovely large pitch that was relatively secluded and shady.
The electric hook-up leaves a lot to be desired, basically a hole in the ground with a concrete slab for a lid and a connector on the end of an armoured cable.

We had a camper spot with electricity, it was a good sized plot and made with hedging to be private

Excellent small site. Super clean Showers, Toilets and dish washing area, cleaned daily by hard working staff. Pizzas, bread and the biggest Pains au Raisin ever (!), available on daily basis (remember to order in time), small bar and shop with basics. Beautiful countryside if you want to explore further, including walking and cycling straight from site and water sports in nearby Pont d'Ouilly.
Please don't change anything
Hedged camping area gave adequate privacy (more open pitches further down the site) with electric plug up if requested. Enough shade from surrounding trees if needed whilst enjoying sunny pitch from morning to early evening.
Nothing for me though some may find the walk to the toilet block a bit further than they would like (ask for a closer pitch).

Love this region. Beautiful countryside with fabulous walks from the door. Campside is delightful, pitches spacious, cute cabin with all the extras necessary. Such a friendly welcome from Celine who makes you feel that you are an old friend

Prachtige natuur, mooie tenten weide
Te veel campers en mobiel homes op de tenten weide, wij komen speciaal voor de tenten weide, maar na een paar dagen waren we omringd door campers, waardoor de sfeer en gezelligheid ver te zoeken was,, hou de weide alleen voor tenten, vandaar de 5 sterren

Een fijne rustige camping met mooie plekken: met heggen omheinde plaatsen voor veel privacy of vrije plaatsen op het veld aan het eind van de camping langs het kabbelende beekje. Heel schoon sanitair, vriendelijke eigenaren, mooie omgeving, kortom: topcamping.

Mooi wandelomgeving en het kasteel van Willem de Veroveraar in Falaise is voor jong en oud een aanrader
Prachtige grote plek onder de bomen. Vanwege de hitte had de eigenaar de plek omgeboekt voor ons. Van een plek in de volle zon naar een plek met een dak van bomen. Heerlijk koel.

Camping aan de rivier de Rouvre is mooi gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Zeker de Roches de l'Oetre zijn de moeite waard. D-day stranden zijn wat ver maar te doen vanaf de camping.
Het tweepersoonsverblijf l'Herte was van alle gemakken voorzien en prima gelegen.
Klein dingetje - vliegen horren plaatsen zou welkome aanvulling zijn.

We hebben een superfijne week gehad op camping de la Rouvre! We werden heel hartelijk welkom geheten door Céline, met alle aandacht voor wensen qua plek, zon of schaduw, tips voor fietsen of wandelen, kortom fantastisch. Ook in de loop van de week altijd een vriendelijk woord of tijd voor een praatje. Het is er heerlijk rustig, mooi groen en volop vogelzang. Ruime plaatsen. We hadden prachtig uitzicht op het grote veld. Zeer schoon sanitair, gezellige receptie, afvalscheiding, wasmachine en droger, vers brood, top! De pizza’s van Manu waren ook verrukkelijk, alles vers. Aanrader!
In de buurt een mooie rots met uitzicht en een mooi riviertje waar je kunt pootjebaden. Mooie groene wandel- en fietsroutes, wel veelal voor de sterke benen of een E-bike. Ik raad iedereen aan om hier tot rust te komen!
