The site was so tranquil and well maintained.All the facilities we could require with lovely clean pool and sanitation block. Also great location We will be back!

Lovely spacious pitch overlooking the Loire. Excellent restaurant. Didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk into Montsoreau with lovely small bars. Excellent Sunday market.

We have visited Montsoreau a number of times before but this was our first time staying at Camping L’Isle Verte and we loved it … The staff are excellent, the pitches are a generous size and the facilities are immaculately clean. On this occasion we only stayed one night as we were travelling further South but next time we will stay for much longer.
The bathrooms could be updated but they were immaculate.

It is a really special campsite. The views over the Loire are incredible. The site has all the amenities you would need. It was perfect for our camper van. It's great for dogs as there is a lot of provision for their needs. Including a shower. The site is really gorgeous. We loved it
There could be more toilets at the furthest ends of the campsite.

The site is well equipped the facilities are kept spotlessly clean. We enjoyed trying the local wines that were for sale in the main reception.
Given that many of the campers are from th eUK [over 60% during our visit], we would recommend the site offers a more flexible check in time.

This is an excellent campsite, right on the banks of the Loire. Large pitches (right by the river if you book it in advance) with great views. The facilities are spotless and the staff are friendly and helpful. Often used by cyclists doing the Loire route (who are well catered for), as well as the usual motorhomes and caravans. Highly recommended.

Next to a little village, good cycling from the site and on the edge of the River Loire.

Stayed for 5 nights. Would have liked to stay longer. Riverside pitch with good views Liked the small town and market on Sunday. Good restaurant be and café in centre.. Wine tasting at near by cellars. Saumur an easy drive. All very clean and well cared for. Reception was welcoming and helpful..
Better instructions for finding the campsite. Electricity kept going off in the morning at breakfast time.
