Camping Le Deffay

Lovely site, no complaints about it. My biggest problem was there was no one at reception on the Sunday we arrived. It took over an hour, and only with the help of a good Samaritan who managed to contact the owner on our behalf were we able to gain access to the camper site. We had paid in full prior to arrival. We had received an email on the previous Friday which was to have a code for access, but they never inserted the code. The lack of communication to emails and phone was most unsatisfactory and stressful.

Lovely grounds and lake with large pitch.

Toilet and shower block totally let's this site down. Total refurbishment required.

Landscaping, large pitches nicely shaded.

Wash block very poorly maintained. Only 3 gents toilet cubicles. One had door lick broken. One had paper dispenser unusable. Not very clean. Shower drains were blocked leaving about 2 cm of dirty water flooding the cubicles. Went to est on the Friday night but told only food was moules frites

Nice big pitch right next to the lake. Opening times of restaurant differed from website to real life but BBQ night was good. Nice wine. Pleasant staff.

Shower block very dated, men’s toilets there was only one cubicle with both a lock and a toilet seat.

Spacious and peaceful site with a pretty lake and a swimming pool. Pitches are large and various shade levels available.

On arrival we were told to pitch anywhere but had no map to see where our pitch-types were located. Reception was supposed to be open on the Sunday we arrived but after our initial contact did not see any staff for help. The bar, restaurant, main toilet blocks and dish washing facilities were either closed or locked. We had no code to enter or leave the site so after our planned one night stay left by the entrance on which the barrier was left open for the duration of our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at camping deffay, check in was supper easy with receptionists speaking perfect English self allocation pitched was also good as we had plenty of choice on this large site

Was great to have staff all speak English and have English signage around the site assist non French speaking residents. The (restaurant) was the biggest let Down of the campsite as it lacked any comfort and felt abit unloved Menu was in French only (making it hard for non French speaking persons to see what was on offer) We managed to order steak and chips for us adults and nuggets and chips for the children When we received our child sized steak and chips we was informed there was no nuggets left for the children so we had to order them a pizza and wait for it again

Unfortunately very little to like. Booked for 4 nights, stayed only 1

Showers, 1st no shower head, 2nd no lock on door, 3rd cold water. No food available restaurant, takeaway, food vans, and bar all closed. Very few on site so assume word has got round. Would not book again, very disappointing.

Frigo pas allumé quand on est arrivé, pas d'allume gaz, quand on est arrivé on ne trouve pas les numéros d'emplacement car ce n'est pas noté. Rien est expliqué au début ou est là piscine, les barrières a quel heures sa se ferme. C'est dommage.

Sono disgustato dal comportamento e dalla maleducazione alla reception, che mi ha annullato la bellezza del campeggio.

L’educazione in reception è da cambiare, non solo da migliorare! Il prezzo pattuito con prenotazione e tasse incluse, non è stato rispettato. Non c’é spazio per il check-in pur avendo tantissimo spazio libero. La barra d’ingresso non sempre funziona. Il camper service non va bene per i mezzi lunghi. Il wc chimico é ingombrato da un gran cespuglio e l’acqua insufficiente. Per il riciclaggio, i bidoni sono accessibili anteriormente, ma bloccati da una barra: se li apri per inserire meglio i rifiuti, non li riesci a richiudere, perché l’accesso è bloccato.

Heel mooi gelegen camping. Zeer ruime plekken. Alles was nog niet volledig klaar voor het seizoen. Niet alles open en schoon.

Hier en daar douches en toiletten repareren.
