The sanitary building was great. It looked beautiful and was very clean. But most of all it was fun and creative - you can choose what toilet you take (high tech, connected to another toilet, ...) or what kind shower you like. And also there is a very nice marble track for the children. Love it!
The yurt when stayed in was on a very beautiful location! The yurt itself looked a bit old and dirty though, because it was situated under the trees.
The location, te space, it was warm when needed and cool when preferred.

Jurte muss renoviert sein, vor allem die Stoffe des Zeltes war überall Schimmelich und zu feucht. Wir waren mit Kinder zwei Nächte dort, das war leider Grenzwert.
Familiendusche war sehr gut! Und die Kinder beim Wartezeit mit Murmeln Bahn war sehr entspannt. Für die Kinder waren die Frösche Highlight!

The new reception/restaurant/bathing/washing building (with hotel rooms on the first floor), is very modern and clean. There is always somebody at reception to help you. The canoe tour is very nice and one of the best we have done so far.
Not really the camping but the accessibility to highways is not that close, so if you want to visit for example Hamburg or Hannover, it's a bit of a longer drive than you might expect. But in return you get great nature and surroundings.
The rooms are very nice, especially the beds were very good. Also good sound isolation and the airco/heater is very modern and functions well. We were positively surprised.

Dry in bad weather, everything was excellent.
Electricity not included but available. We paid 24 euro’s for 10 days of normal use. We were told it’s charged per kWh but not told what the rate was.

It was a one night stop at Uhlenköper camp. If i had known that it was such a great campspot i would have stay for at less 2 nights.

The pitches near the end of the camping are spacious and have a nice view of the woods.
The toilets and showers really need renovating. There are not enough showers and toilets (especially for the women, since 1 of 2 showers was broken) and there was mould and hairs in the shower (it was not clean). The floor tiles and shower curtain do not help in keeping it clean.

Hello, I think you mixed up two campsites. We do not have separated showers for men and women an we do not have shower curtains and our toilets and showers are brand new. Can you please check this? Regards, Thomas

A very nice green, cool campsite under the trees, this was specifically nice because it was very hot weather during our stay. Nice atmosphere, cool murmel-bahn, beautiful pool. And super comfortable, spacious toilets and showers, with funny high tech ones.
The natural pool floor was extremely slippery and the children bath with pebbles. Getting around in the pool with small children was difficult. Wearing swim shoes is therefore recommended.

Very nice campsite. We enjoyed taking a walk there. The pigs were great for the kids. The service building was great!
The pool is quite small, and the slide is not good unless you buy a plastic ring to slide on. Also the playground is was too small, and not very fun or engaging for the kids.
It was close to the service building.
The pitch was very small, we could barely fit our caravan in between the poles that marked the pitch. Our neighbours were just beside us, so we could easily hear each other.

Nach einem 1. Aufenthalt im Uhlenköper Camp letztes Jahr im Frühsommer haben wir auch jetzt wieder ein paar wunderbare Tage in der rundum schönen Anlage verbracht. Vielen Dank an die netten Menschen dort!

Der Platz lädt zum entschleunigen ein. Speziell die Kinder haben sich rundum wohl gefühlt und es gibt kein Überangebot an Bespaßung, sondern bringt sie auf eigene kreative Ideen.
Hier und da hatte ich mir etwas mehr Instandsetzung gewünscht. Zum Ende der Saison konnte man es dem ein oder anderen Platz ansehen.
Das Bistro bietet ein tolles Frühstück in Bioqualität zu fairem Preis. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Wasserversorgung an den Stellplätzen war teilweise sehr weit weg vom eigenen Wohnwagen und man musste sich mit der Giesskannne behelfen.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, man kann hier sehr gut entspannen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind super gut. Verpflegung ist von Morgens bis Abends in dem kleinen Bistro mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit gesichert.
Die Stellplätze sind toll angelegt. Von Sonnen- bis Schattenplatz ist alles vorhanden.
