Walk to beach and ( it was end Oct ) a handful of restaurants and bars close by plus decent mini market within 10 minute walk Reception very helpful and good english Bus into salobrena 15 minutes but walk to main bus stops ( towards port ) which then come back past site- they dont stop at stop opposite site. Well worth trip with amazing hillside houses / castle and restaurants along beach very good and cheap
More info around restaurant / bar as looked empty and uninviting
Many pitches were in shade but found one with sunshine- site when full may only offer some poor pitches ?
many pitches were shadey and would not be happy with. We were surrounded by long term german campers with a blanket quiet zone at 8pm

the location was perfect for the beach and the facilities immaculate The staff in reception were very friendly too.

We were made very welcome from the start and the campsite was very clean and tidy

It is very difficult to manage the caravan round on the campsite because many steel rods tight to the narrow roads.
The pitches are overbuilt, it don't look nice

Top of van scratched with overhanging branches and then sent to pitch way too small! Eventually put on better.pitch. Should keep all tourers together, site was a bit of a shanty town! Way overpriced. Would not revisit that area, reception staff superb. Huge dog on loose stalked hubby and dogs, apparently it escapes, reception said if it happened again, they would advise the police. We did not go out the site again so early in morning and [olive should have been advised as illegal in Spain to have dog not supervised. Some basics in shop. Stay away from port side as well!
Took 30 minutes in the morning for the showers to heat up on the shower block closest to reception. Site appearance very shanty town and bit of a state really, sorry!

Very narrow site and we had difficulty manoeuvring into our pitch . We pranged the van in the process.

Reception very friendly, supermarket prices very reasonable, bar/restaurant great for breakfast, shower/toilet facilities very clean. Great atmosphere, very friendly, very safe for kids, lovely pool exceptionally clean, very close to the beach.
Our pitch was shaded by some trees nice and close to the shower/toilet block.

Site is in a great position, next to the sea, several bars/restaurants nearby
We have a dog that hates cats! Site in general encourages the wild cat population, in particular the pitch next door t9 us was a feeding station! Sadly this made our stay very stressful and we would not return

We Stayed for 3 nights.
The pits are a little smal, so no Sun When there are caravans on both side. Nice reception and Beach (Stone) oppesite the campsite with many Beach bars.

We like toilett and dusch clean but some of door looks broken on gentleman wc doors
You gave me directions how to drive to my plot not able to take turns with 7.5 autocaravanna had to change plot reversing and foward manage at last to entry a new plot.Next time please suggest a plot you can reach with 7.5 meters autocaravanna.
