Nice site close to the river and 20 min walk along it to the beach one way the town the other way. Kitchen sink storage, shower and toilet on the pitch was great. The annoying point is the reception opens at 10.00 and you have to be off your pitch by 10.00 so you have to wait around to get the kitchen inspected (and it is thoroughly)- to then go back to the office to get your deposit back …. don’t expect to leave early if you take one of these pitches!

No shop on site - but boulangerie goods can be ordered for delivery to pitch the following morning
Didn't need the waterpoint on pitch as water and dish washing facility closeby.

The location is excellent, especially if you want to cycle. The cycle path network can be joined right outside and you can get to lots of different places - the beach, the town, Cap d'Agde and the Canal du Midi. The pool is a great way to cool off in the heat of the day and the bar provides everything from a nice cold drink to dinner. The shower block furthest from the pool is new and very clean with plenty of hot water (didn't use the other block so can't comment).
Our pitch was on the annex side of the site which had plenty of space, this was a request when booking and was granted on arrival. It wasn't a problem when we asked to move a bit further away from the play area, the lady was extremely helpful.
Our first pitch was right next to the play area, as a couple with no children we didn't really want to listen to the constant thud of a football, we asked if we could move to a pitch further up and this was no problem.

Pitches are well maintained. We had one with private sanitary facilities which were excellent. The pool is lovely and we always managed to get a seat no matter what time we visited. The food at the bar was good but the location of being just a short bike ride/walk to a fantastic beach with restaurants & bars makes this site a fantastic place.
The toilets by the pool could benefit from an update.

nothing good to say: we booked 3 weeks with them. theyve taken the whole amount in advance which turns out that they were not allowed. in any case we were not able to go. i am still waiting for their confimation for the insurance. nobody picks up the phone.

This family run site is perfect for a family holiday. Everything is clean and tidy, the people are wonderful and friendly. The site isn’t massive so it remains quieter than the majority yet has all the amenities of the larger, often noisier sites. The pool and splash zone are lovely, as is the bar and café. The wide and beautiful river has a path that leads to the sea and coastal village, or, in the other direction the town. Both easily walkable and both with a wealth of restaurants and shops. We will definitely be returning :-)
Although small the accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable, there is storage in both rooms. The water pressure is great for the shower!
Bring a fan, we were lucky enough to have wall to wall sunshine and temperatures were extremely high so we used a fan to help keep us cooler in the night for sleeping.

This is our second time staying at your. Beautiful campsite and we honestly can’t fault it. The location is perfect and the campsite offers everything we need. All the staff are so helpful and friendly and we can’t wait to come back next year!

Good size pitches, although entrance to pitch was too narrow for a large motorhome or caravan
Toilet paper in toilets, I have been touring France and Spain for 10 weeks this is the first site that did not provide paper.

The water from sink drained directly onto pitch, I asked if this could be repaired, it never was.
Hello, Thank you for your review. I saw you entering on the pitch and I said to myself: this driver is not good... but after several tries you managed. Motorhome bigger than yours fitted in this place. Toilet paper is provided in both toilets blocks, so I do not understand why you are lying on this point.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean site and well maintained. Everybody was very friendly no matter which country they came from.
Lovely airy mobil home and outdoor area
The only aspect was how close we were to other holidaymakers and we would prefer a quieter avenue next time, as there was quite a lot of general 'traffic'.

The site was quite busy but bar was closed at 7pm and no food at all until July!
Our pitch with private facilities was excellent, modern with walk in shower and very clean. The pitch was of a good size as well.

Hrllo, Thank you for your review. Just for your information but I thnik you asked me when you were at the campsite the bar closes at 7.30 p.m and not 7 p.m. No food until July is true and we assume. It is written in all the website specialists of the campsite

Lovely campsite, very pretty. Good pitches and sanitary facilities. Fab pool. Staff very friendly and having delivery to pitch of bread every morning. Great position for accessing bike routes.

We had to change our booking a couple of times,due to an injury my husband had, they were brilliant at accomodating us for that. The location is next to the River and 5 mins bike rides either way to nice little town and beach with shops and lots of restaurants. A lovely little market also on the Sunday morning Only van on a pitch of 6. Which was good as due to our size of van, we woukd have struggled to get off our pitch had the one opposite been occupied.
Not so much a dislike, but dissapointed that the bar was shut, there were loads of vans on site, so inwas a but surprised, shame we couldn't have had drinks and food onsite. Thought it was very pricey, out of season with nothing onsite open, however we didnt mind paying as it was recommended to us. Didn't like having to book for 5 nights online though, would have liked to book 2, then extend if all was OK.

Reception were very welcoming, pool is lovely and the children's pool area is amazing. Great delivery of Bread from 1st September. Love the fact you can cycle everywhere

My wife and I had a lovely holiday
Yes, residents making lots of noise, TV on loud in the awning with no one watching it, most of the day. Residents parking their car on your pitch when you first arrive and then having to be found to move it!

We returned to Camping Neptune again but only for a shorter (5 night) stay this time. The site is one of our favourites across Europe, which is why on each trip we always try to spend time here
I know that we stay in off season but it would be nice for the snack bar to be open during lunch time when we take a break from the lovely pool facilities
