Although we have stayed at higher rated campsites this one was the best. Due to how long it's been established it's as if every little detail has been thought about and overcome. The pitches are beautifully kept and the facilities are plentiful and clean.
A few staff members could be a little more welcoming.
A well presented pitch with options of how to setup due to its size and privacy and shade as requested.

We were given a great pitch with plenty of space and adjacent to our fiends who we met at Limeuil. Good facilities. This is our second visit too this site.

Lovely family business. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Limeuil is a beautiful setting where Rivers Dordogne and Vezere meet. Very nice food at the restaurant. Pool is very welcoming. A good variety of pitches many with lots of tree shade in hot weather.

We had an amazing time, the site was clean and had a relaxed vibe. The pool was lovely and coasting down the river was really fun too. I stayed in a safari tent and it was well equipped and comfortable. We ate at the bar a number of times and the food was well priced and tasty. Steak, pizza and chips specifically. We also drank at the bar and the drinks on offer and ice cold water was great. Top tip, if you are relaxing by the pool, ask them to fill your water bottle at the bar, it is ice cold and lovely.
Having some water refill stations with ice cold water would be good and would stop me having to ask bar staff to refill bottles. Also, it would be good to have an option of plastic cups to allow people to drink by the pool. Something I would have appreciated it more shade options by the pool or near the playgrounds so I could sit comfortably while my child plays.
The tent was great, it looked wonderful, was well kitted out and the beds were comfy.
I was a little confused then booking about ordering bedding etc, this was quickly sorted on arrival. One thing to note was that my water butt leaked so I had to keep it outside. Also, the floor moved a lot so it made a lot of nice shaking things when I was in the tent. Otherwise, wonderful accommodation that I would use again.

Stayed 5 nights in hot sunny weather. Attractive site, thoughtfully laid out and well managed. Retired couple, we did not use the swimming pool but facilities for families looked good.

Lovely site and facilities. Friendly and accommodating staff. Reasonably priced and well stocked shop and bar. Car available to hire. Good set-up for recycling (including composting)

Friendly helpful people, very pretty and clean site. Excellent food and drink at reasonable prices meant that the bar and restaurant was a convivial place. Great little shop. Keep up the good work!

Very large shaded pitch with plenty of grass meant we were able to keep the rent clean. Sometimes when the grass disappears under the trees it makes a muddy mess in the tent. But the owners had cared properly for the grass which was impressive and much appreciated.

The camp is immaculate and the food very tasty and good value lots of very nice regular visitors who shared there knowledge with us as well as wine
The location was perfect , extremely quiet
Air conditioning would have been good especially as it was 35 degrees that said the new caravan worked well at keeping cool with the latest technology and white roof

The reception staff are very welcoming and friendly. They also speak English which is a great help! The snack/bar staff are friendly and efficient and the food is good. The campsite is clean and well maintained. The showers are good with hot water. Our camping pitch was good too!
The water flow for the hand basin outside the toilets needs to be improved, otherwise some people won't bother to wash their hands after using the toilet and that could become a hygiene issue.
Well maintained grass pitch with a great view over the meadow, leading down to the river.
Not a particularly sunny pitch due to all the trees. However, in the heat of the summer months the shade is probably very welcome!

Pitches very large but were very muddy due to rain. Hard to keep the pitch clean. However I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem if the weather was good

Had a lovely stay although the weather broke we had some brilliant cycle rides along the river .

Booked through the website which proved expensive with the booking fee added and also didn’t therefore get the ACSI discount …our fault not the site although we pointed it out they couldn’t do anything because we booked.

Perfect welcome, best campsite shop we’ve seen in all those used in France including bike hire, board games, books.
Weather!!! No soap near toilets. Hairdryer not working in lashes
