The site is beautiful. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Attention to detail of the amenities around the park and the cleanliness of the facilities really are top class. Thank you so much for a great stay. We will be returning.
Pitch was a perfect position and size

Pitches and facilities are excellent, well laid out and maintained to a high standard. Staff are friendly and helpful, being well led by family owners who are rightly proud of their business. The busy restaurant and small shop are lovely, providing a nice menu, daily baked fresh bread and a good range of groceries. The riverside location offers amazing views and excellent swimming. The stunning medieval villages nearby are home to some outstanding restaurants.
In high season the pool can be somewhat crowded, including a handful of boisterous young people whose enthusiastic behaviour can be slightly overbearing.
We very much enjoyed a karge and well shaded pitch in a quiet area of the site. It could not be more perfect.
Difficult to think of any ways to improve a sublime experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely site. The location beside the river was great as so much of our time was spent lazing on the river. The facilities were excellent and continually clean. The reception, shop and bar had everything you needed for your stay. Having fresh bread and croissants every morning was an added bonus. The food at the restaurant was excellent and we ate there on a regular basis. The staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Regular activities for both adults and children kept everyone entertained. A great stay. Thank you to the owners.

It is the most beautiful camp site and surrounding areas with private access to the river

Perfect accommodation with lovely shading trees keeping the area cool in very hot weather
The attached dog pen area was not turfed and just dirt covered with dg dog holes so we couldnt use it as outdoor space

Once again we loved everything! The accommodation was fabulous, the site beautifully clean and the staff lovely.
Possibly give the tiles around the pools a little tlc
I think we have found our perfect plot! Mainly in the shade with a little sun for drying washing and on a quiet road. The bedroom set up is great and every kitchen appliance that you could ever need.
The accommodation was once again amazing but adding bug screens to the windows like some of the other mobile homes would have been a real asset so that windows could have been opened without the worry of being eaten alive!

WE HAVE STAYED MANY TIMES AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED EXTREMELY WELL. THE CAMPSITE IS ALWAYS WELL MAINTANED AND THE CAMP RESTAURANT IS VERY CONVENIENT.

We had a shady riverside pitch which was a nice surprise as we booked fairly last minute. The site is really calm and we enjoyed our stay, spending alot of time at the river beach and the bar.
I loved the big grassy open area behind the riverside pitches, its so nice to have all that space. Many campsites would have added another row of pitches, and i'm glad you haven't because it felt really spacious

Very clean excellent facilities. Nice bar and food area. Easy access to the river and a nice cycle path. Bread and fresh pastries available all day and a well stocked little shop for your basics. Laundry area was good and sports facilities with a field to empty the dog in. Swimming pool area looked and was lovely will comment more in the 👎.
The pool had a no dive sign. But this was not enforced and the pool was small so unless you are happy to be dive bombed and jumped on its best to avoid. The pool area was lovely with 3 small pools but unless you have kids it’s not ideal.
Our pitch was number 41 right next to the shower block. Easy walk to the bar shop pool.
Our pitch was absolutely huge for our motorhome. We had a few hours of rain after a particularly very hot spell and it was a mud bath. The shower block was noisy.

The magic of Le Port de Limeuil! We had the most amazing holiday, using the site as a base to tour the Dordogne region. We had a beautiful spot down by the river. Every night, we watched the sunset over Limeuil and watched the village lights dancing across the water. It was simply beautiful! The on site facilities were 5*, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. We will 100% be returning next year! We miss it already!
We had an amazing pitch!!! We requested for a shady spot, which we were lucky to be given. It was very spacious, with plenty of space for a caravan, awning and a car. We would definitely request this pitch again, it was perfectly situated near the river and not far from the toilet block. The pitches were looked after, with staff members tending to the shrubs and trees every day.

Ons tweede bezoek aan deze camping en opnieuw weer genoten. Ruime plekken, met privacy, camping is netjes en wordt goed onderhouden, sanitair is heel schoon, leuk personeel en op de camping zelf (als ook in de omgeving) genoeg te doen!

A fantastic dreamy location, very warm, welcoming and friendly family team and staff included. Lots of varied pitches of generous sizes most with good levels of shade. Great snack bar with a wide variety on the menu and every drin you can think of. Excellent pool albeit we didnt use it this time, the river was low and calm enough to bathe in along with crazy labrador who wouldnt get out of the river! Shower and toilet facilities very modern, clean and well maintained. This is always going to be one of our go to places.
Electrical distribution was a little frustrating. A 4 way pillar had 1x 6amp, 2x 10amp and 1x 16amp outlets first come first served. They could easily have been all been 10 amp which means everybody can use their modern electrical appliances without tripping.

It was perhaps our 26th consecutive year at the campsite and every year we notice subtle improvements. It’s such a beautiful site and the owner/managers are delightful. The staff must be carefully selected as they are all lovely too and work to make the holiday special.
A shaded pitch was extremely welcome in the heat wave. Most pitches are shaded and very well maintained.

The campsite setting is beautiful on the banks of the river . The pitches are a large and mostly private - hedges screen and trees provide shade in the hot hot sun . Everything is very well maintained and cared for . The staff are helpful and friendly . Great little bistro on site . Great base in the Dordogne for exploring .
Restrict children in the larger pool - difficult to get a calm adult swim once the school holidays started - will definitely come before them next time !

We’ve just enjoyed our fourth stay at Port de Limeuil, and it never disappoints. It’s our favourite campsite because it’s small, friendly, and has everything you need without feeling crowded. The shop, bar, food, pool, and facilities are all excellent, and the relaxed atmosphere keeps us coming back. We always have a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it.
Our pitch was perfect, right on the river. Stepping out of the tent each morning to such a beautiful view was a real highlight of our stay. When we booked, we asked if our grown-up daughter’s pitch could be next to ours, and the campsite kindly arranged this for us, which we really appreciated. It made our family holiday even more special.

Loveliest campsite I’ve been to, couldn’t ask for a better location, the river is perfect to swim in. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and reasonably priced.
Located right on the river for the first time at this site and it was perfect, had the best view and still a short walk to the shower blocks and bar. Couldn’t ask for a better pitch!
Not disliked! However during a storm a massive tree branch fell next to our tent, perhaps a maintenance check or trim on the trees before a storm is forecasted can be carried out for safety reasons

We returned to Le Port de Limeuil again, and this time we brought our friends, and they were equally impressed by this fabulous site. It’s has just the right amount of activities and relaxation to suit our holiday needs and situated in a beautiful part of France that has stolen our hearts. The family should be extremely proud of what they have achieved there.
As I currently have limited mobility I have to use the disabled showing facility, which generally is superb. However there is only one suggestion I have; would be possible to have another seating option that would remain dry so there would be somewhere dry to sit when drying off and re-dressing. By the way this is a very small matter and is frequently missed within this type of facility wherever you go.
We were situated in a different part of the campsite this year but it didn’t disappoint. There was a good amount of shade and sun when you wanted it, and another lovely large pitch that quickly felt like home.
