The spacious, well organised site in such a beautiful location on the Dordogne. Clean, airy sanitaires and laverie.

We come to this beautifully situated campsite every year. It is run by a wonderful family team and is simply one of the best campsites we know of..great restaurant,,bar, cafe, swimming pool, river running through it, beautiful village. FANTASTIC.

Lovely clean site with great facilities and pool. Great cafe/restaurant/bar.

More staff as the wait in reception, bar and shop was ridiculous with 1, 2 at best serving all three services. I waited 15 mins just to buy a baguette. Great pool but you have to leave your footwear outside so floor round pool is very hot!

A site that has everything

Great location. Very friendly team. Good spacious pitches with lovely view of The Dordogne. Nice bar area and restaurant served simple well produced food.

Set on the banks of a river across from a beautiful hilltop medieval village, this campsite offers tranquility as well as excellent amenities.

The site had everything we needed and most of all it had fantastic, friendly staff.

We’ve been visiting every year for about 25 years and it improves every year. The family invest in improving the site and it’s just about perfect. The pitches are shady, and this is great in the heat of summer. The location on the dordogne means we can swim in the river and relax on the pebble beach. Over the bridge is one of the most beautiful villages in France. The owners are great and know how to help everyone get the most out of the campsite. The owners have found an amazing team of staff to help run the site, shop, bar and restaurant.

Perhaps a pathway around the camping ground towards river,damp underfoot when going to toilet and shower block.

Beautiful campsite, we were able to pick our own pitch. Huge pitch with water and electric. Facilities were better than many places. Staff were helpful, bar was open and lovely to sit outside and enjoy the peace. Good that pool etc was still open even though it was very near the end of the season. Good location to explore by bicycle. Would recommend to others.

Only issue we had was the noise and mess caused by a group of German school kids staying in the camping fields. They abused the facilities and were allowed to wander around being noisy very late, and very early. Not the fault of the site, more lack of discipline by the teachers.

Very nice, well maintained camping site. You get an instant feeling of vacation when you enter the site.

We loved Port de Limeuil, we had a pitch down by the river, lovely sound to drift off to sleep to. The whole campsite is really well cared for and run, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The small bins given to us for recycling and food waste were a great idea. We will be back!
