Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoStaff are excellent and helpful. Facilities are so clean and well maintained. Wonderful for families.
Paying to clean the accommodation at the end seems strange. Never paid to stay in accommodation before and had to pay at the end to clean it. An expensive add on for a holiday for us to pay to clean your facilities.
Well laid out and comfortable.

The new swim complex at La Sirene v the quiet and peace of l'Hippocampe. Good food. Plenty to do. Two lodges accommodated next door to each other based on request (2 families). App really useful, liked the reminders of what was going on.
Wrong bedding provided on arrival. Told reception, we had to bring the wrong bedding back. Better customer service would be to collect on one of the many golf carts flying around the camp. Towels weren't in the lodge, again had to go and collect. Some form of seating around the pool/s would be better service.
Air con worked well.
We reported a massive ant infestation. Including on the beds and bedsheets, on the kitchen surfaces including fruit bowl, in the bathroom, on toothbrushes etc. We were told maintenance could do nothing. Why not provide basics like salt and pepper?

The lion king show was brilliant.
I normally make the most of a bad situation and don’t usually complain but I will definitely not be returning here. There is nothing to do in the area unless you have a car. Better quality bakery items - no crispy croissants. Everything is very expensive €4 for a ice cream. Very at Not enough activities for younger children and the play areas are dirty and a lot of the stuff is broken. Staff were generally very unfriendly. The noise from the theatre was very loud every night and children could not sleep. Not the 5* campsite I was expecting. £2000 for 1 week - should have got an Airbnb instead.
Our outside area was private, but this is not the case for all of the accommodation.
Ants in beds. Ants everywhere is outdoor kitchen area, even when no food. Told reception, nothing done about it. Wardrobe door broken - this was fixed but the maintenance guy left screws and dust everywhere. We paid extra for bedding and they were soaking wet in the clean plastic laundry bags. In my opinion it is like an extremely expensive Butlins but in France.

The pools, the weather, the facilities
We really enjoyed our stay but would have some suggestions for going forward: (1) We feel the use of electric scooters should be prohibited in the campsite - it is too dangerous, (2) there should be a small shop and coffee shop in l'Hippocampe, (3) the installation of ramps on the road between l'Hippocampe and La Sirene would be a good idea as there were a number of instances of cars not stopping and drivers looking at their phones etc, which is obviously very dangerous where children are involved, (4) Wi-Fi is very poor in the campsite.

The activities and general facilities are excellent
We love la sirene and lhippocampe so no complaints.
The location is fantastic
Our cabin number 48 initially had a disgusting dishwasher that we had to get replaced, the door on one of the bedrooms was bad, we reported it but it wasn't fixed, also the WiFi didn't work at all on the area of our cabin, but when when it was working in other areas it was very slow

Plenty of activities at the camp. S lot of young Irish friends my child could meet
A small shop or vending machine in Hippo camp. Especially near the sports/park area. It is a shame that when it is very warm and you need a refreshing drink to have to walk to LA sirene.
Liked the location this year.
Also the beds/pillows in the pitches are terribly uncomfortable. A bit of investment here would be great. More to be done about the ants everywhere. Every cupboard we opened, there were 100s of them The pitch we had this year was too much sheltered by.trees, causing no sunlight, bird droppings, and leaves and seeds dropping from the tree daily. Wifi was poor

It was great to see some many countries come together , the kids playing together in the evening was heartwarming
Stafff seem overworked, under pressure , and rushed . There should be a donation areas for people to pass along to the next wave of people - toys , sun tents etc
Space was great , there were a lot of ants !

Nice weather
Soccer field should be artificial or similar. Der was so many ants in our mobilhome, it was really sad to see, the outdoor terrasse was horrible, and need to be changed. The worst mobilhome ever

Lovely campsite. Pool complex at La Sirene was amazing. Loads of pools and slides even an adutls only pool. Plenty of activities to chose from all day. Hyrox, Crossfit, strength etc for adults. Football, Archery, Basketball etc for kids. They even take them on trips off site to waterpark. Hippocamp a lot quieter and we prefered to stay there with going over the road to La sirene for pool, entertainment. The activites make the site. Would happily return.
Entertainment area unberably hot. Needs aircondining, also not enough seats for everyone. Not being able to wear sliders by pool, the ground was super hot and burning feet.
Living area and kitchen were lovely new. I found it had more than enought strorage for our needs. Also great terrace with private garden. No mosquitos
We were tortured by ants. The beds in the twin bedroom were way too narrow. Woken up all night by teens banging knees against the wall. Booked direct and wasnt cheap and on top having to pay for sheets towels etc. No owen, no toaster

Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean and plenty of life guards and security.
Some units are now dated and showing their age.
Functional and basic but showing its age.

Family of 5. 2nd time syay. We had a very enjoyable stay. Lovely accommodation.. Lovely and clean area as always. Pools absolutely amazing 10/10. Very nice pool staff.
Entertainment- more English speaking shows, more variety as returning costumes Entertainment- Going to have to expand the area/arena. There is too many people for such a big campsite. Maybe have a toddles/child arena elsewhere. Shop- more Irish products. Teabags, cereals etc Alot more restaurants there isn't enough variety. More kids food options. No e-scotters allowed too dangerous Suncream stations at the pools and water refills. Lovely pools but needs more expansion of food areas and entertainment space and variety of different shows. Higher netting 4 Gaelic
Absolutely gorgeous. Clean. Good air-conditioning, bright and spacious and beautiful outdoor space.
Bedding should be included in the price. Check for wasps nests before arrival as I got stung and quite possibly had an allergic reaction or my child and it could have been an emergency situation. Staff need to check BBQ areas. Fresh towels should be provided after 5 days.

The campsite is extremely clean. The accomodation is as described. The animation team are fantastic. The bakery staff and variety of goods were great.
No escooters or motorized vehicles should be allowed in campsite. Soccer for 13-17yrs this was very much missed this year for my teenagers. A shop/ice cream stand in hippocampe especially during activities during the day. When it's extremely hot like this year 41c the rule about footwear at the pool needs to be addressed. The ground is too hot. Include cleaning automatically in the stay, make it the option to opt out. Sheets/towels should be included in your stay. A washing tablet should be included in welcome pack.
Shower pressure.
In no 18 the bushes and trees need to be cut back. Lots of insects and bird droppings. You had to put up the umbrella all the time. The kitchen area is very small. Not enough space to cook. Would not book this style again. The decking of this accomodation needs to be power washed. Pointed out a mouse hole to ground workers. Cleanliness of van was not great. Needed to clean on arrival. A thorough clean is definitely needed in between stays.

Quiet, relaxed site. Clean and comfortable cabins. Nice small pool ideal for younger kids families.
Wifi very poor, almost non existent at our pitch -advised to use it outdoors. Crossing the road between main campsites could be a bit risky if drivers not paying attention.
Well equipped, aircon worked well. Plenty storage (2Ad, 2Kids) could have stored enough in a smaller cabin for sure.
TV was not working at all. Reception did arrange for it to be fixed the following day but maybe should be part of pre check as missed world cup games. Wifi inside the cabin was almost zero, not that we use devices uch but for using la Sirene app, check in etc. even it was too slow.

Everything…… accommodation was clean. Food was delicious. Pool areas were clean and well maintained.
More fans/mist fans or some form of air conditioning in food/drinks/seating areas.
We had a lovely private area. If I had to say something, the living area is a little tight but we weren’t there much so didn’t bother us much.
The ants but that is the area

Really liked the endless amounts of activities on show throughout the day . The swimming pools were amazing and the kids really enjoyed the late night swimming and slides , also the foam party was a big hit with my gang .The campsite was extremely clean and well maintained.
The nighttime seating area is very small for the amount of people in the campsite , and the fact none of the shows were in bio lingo (only French) was quite annoying.
The accommodation was top notch and the private decking was stunning .
The fact the Air Con was fixed to go no lower than 20 degrees was a pain .

Really enjoyed it. The facilities are superb and the entertainment on offer including activities are second to none. Loved the free activities put on for kids and adults. Very impressed
The pool area could do with a coffee kiosk but I get why there is none too. The entrance to hippocampe is busy and tight. Possibly look into changing that a bit or alternatively look to get a pedestrian crossing at the hippocampe entrance so to take away the volume of people (including bikes) off the 1 footpath
Loved the coffee machine, loved the layout. Great to have 2 showers
Not having a covered deck was a real negative for us. Pro wouldn't book the same type of accommodation for that reason

We loved our stay and plan on returning next year!
Provide towels and sheets as part of the accommodation
Loved the separate bathroom and shower rooms, there was plenty of storage space

The did we nice in the restaurants and the activities were good. The pools are lovely and the shows are very good
There is basically nothing to do activity wise for kids under 6 and even 6 to 10 there is little to do as the activities are aimed at older kids. The beds in the lodges are poor Prices in the restaurants are pretty pricey for food and drink
The lodges are fine with nice decking, bathrooms and appliances.
The beds though are pretty uncomfortable and the walls are paper thin meaning when it was stormy i could barely sleep
