We had a fab stay at Camping Valmarie at the end of August. Our lodge/caravan was immaculate, we really couldn't fault it. The site itself was great, the shop was very good, staff very helpful! The pool/slides/snack bar were also great! As a family of 4 (kids 5 & 8) we had a great time. THe beach (Racou) is very close by and a lovely beach. Also a 15 minute walk to the port and an added 15 minutes to Argele Plage or very doable with both our kids!
I honestly can't think of any improvements we would have for the site, maybe some entertainment on site at night? This didn't really bother us at the time as we tended to walk to the port or into Argele but maybe would have stayed on site of an evening if there were entertainment.
Spacious, clean. Honestly it felt brand new!
Nothing in particular, they are very close together but they didn't bother us. We didn't feel overlooked or anything.

We had a lovely family holiday here, everyone was very friendly and it had everything we needed.

Rat running around the restaurant - not good when you are eating. Pool has seemingly random closing times and is a bit small but was clean. Some staff excellent and friendly especially the lady who inspected our caravan , BUT.... one in particular that we had to deal with was miserable. 2 of the 4 washing machines faulty and one of the 2 dryers faulty, but were eventually fixed.

Not cheap, this is the top end of what I'd normally pay for a camp site, overall a 2 week holiday was costing similar to a half board hotel with flights in Greece.

Campsite was small and quiet, pool never got too busy. Enjoyed the night swims a lot and enjoyed how frequent they were. pool was lovely and a good size with a decent selection of slides and a very nice pool bar. Restaurant food was really nice and good quality and not too pricey. Layout of campsite was nice, our pitch was lovely and private. Little shop was well stocked and the fresh bread and pastry were often still warm. All staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the street of le Racou it was very cute and a short walk to the harbour once we found the shortcut.
Pool area needed some more shade around the sunbeds, no umbrellas made it sometimes unbearable in the heat of the day. Out pitch was lovely and private but noticed a lot of deckings facing the road and had very little privacy.
Lovely layout, perfect for a family of 2 couples. Beds comfy, accomodation was clean and well equipped- it was nice to have both a kettle and coffee machine. Aircon worked well Bathrooms were a good size and showers were large. Our decking was very big and lots of nice shade and privacy.

It can be a bit tight at times when driving through the campsite and parking.
Air conditioning worked very well for heating and cooling. It was also equipped with everything we needed
The wardrobe in the double bedroom was hard to use due to the side the hinge was on. The same for using the microwave oven. With the door of the cupboard opening one way and the microwave opening the other. Not a big problem but it just felt weird.

Bonne semaine dans ce camping très ombragé avec terrasse, plancha gaz, transat.... Emplacement pour véhicule étroit suivant le mobil home. Piscine correcte.
Equipement de la cuisine minimaliste (bouilloire électrique et grille pain seraient un plus).
Mobil home très récent, propre, confortable et calme bien que proche de la piscine.

La proximité de la Plage, du Port et d’Argelès, l’environnement, l’espace aquatique avec quelques bémols et l’accueil !
Les vacanciers de la dernière semaine de la saison ne bénéficient pas de la prestation 5 étoiles : 1) Espace aquatique avec une eau qui se rafraîchit franchement à partir du mercredi pour finir très fraîche le samedi, Le bar de la piscine fermé 2) Les travaux de « démolitions » des terrasses proches de mon mobil home avec les nuisances que cela implique … De ce fait ce n’était pas vraiment «ambiance vacances » C’est dommage car c’est un très bel endroit que je fréquente depuis 2 ans ..et c’est la première fois que cela se passe ainsi ....

Le problème de l’eau chaude : dysfonctionnement du chauffe eau avec douche froide les 3/4 du temps - pas de solution apportée Pas d’éclairage sur la terrasse donc impossible de manger le soir dehors

La piscine était magnifique. Mon bungalow (très propre) était entouré d’arbres et de végétation. Le personnel était très sympathique et la supérette contenait ce dont on avait besoin. Le pain était excellent.Proche de la plage, on pouvait y aller à pied.
Une terrasse couverte serait un plus.

A proximité d'une route donc un peu bruyant.promiscuité importante entre les bungalows.Notre mobil home était "suspendu",l'accès à la piscine en montée aussi bref beaucoup de marche...compliqué pour les personnes avec quelques soucis de santé.
Personnel peu présent, pour un éventuelle massage par exemple personne sur place? Aucune animation pour un 5 étoiles.Bungalows simple sans vraiment de plus pour camping dis de standing.

La tv avec peu de chaînes française et quand çà marchait.logement petit par rapport à la surface,mal agencé.nettoyage a revoir,il a fallu que l'on refasse le ménage à notre arrivé

Séjour lors de la dernière semaine d'ouverture du camping, du coup, beaucoup moins de monde qu'en haute saison, peu de monde à la piscine (très appréciable), et services (restauration et épicerie) malgré tout toujours ouverts à cette période.
Nous ne sommes restés que 4 nuits, donc pas de points négatifs particuliers à noter. Peut-être trop de guêpes, ce qui nous a obligés à prendre certains repas à l'intérieur. Prévoir donc du répulsif. Les places pour les véhicules sont très petites par endroits.
La climatisation, le nombre de rangements, salle de bains plutôt grande pour un mobil-home. Vraiment bien agencé.
L'emplacement (53) a pas mal de vis-à-vis car il donne directement sur l'allée, contrairement à d'autres.

Le cadre en général : un bois au milieu de la plaine, à 10 minutes à pied de la plage. L'attention au Client était excellente.

La situation du camping près de la plage ou sur une portion les chiens sont acceptés, la tranquillité du site, la vegetalisation, la propreté des lieux, l'équipement et la propreté du bungalow, le spa, la salle de sport, la piscine, l'efficacité et la rapidité du personnel de maintenance, le fait que les chiens soient acceptés.
Nous avions un bungalow près de la piscine qui devrait être mieux insonorisé car une des chambres donnait sur le local Piscine. Si la piscine et le spa pouvaient fermer une heure plus tard, tout serait parfait.
L'équipement est très complet, tant pour faire la cuisine que pour profiter de la terrasse.
