We used to come quite regular to Campilo when we had our motorhome. Then it was just the lake and pool, plus a couple of lakeside lodges. Last time was 5 years ago. I was a bit conservatively all the changes, but I needed have been, I Loved it all. Loved the accommodation, the area, and new to us the lovely lagoon. It was completely empty but lovely and warm when my daughter and myself used it, absolute bliss.

Absolutely loved this accommodation, the private pool was amazing and warm. It was exceptionally clean and so much space. It was also extremely private and a gate which made it dog friendly so he didn't get out. There were only 2 of us, so we didn't use the private annex part of the chalet. Which would be ideal if you were a family with grandparents, as the annex had it's own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. My husband lives the fact it was very close to the fishing lake so he didn't have far to take his fishing gear. We will definitely be back next year.
The only thing I wasn't keen on was the continental square bed pillows. Being used to the UK type of pillows I found the continental ones uncomfortable. I would also have liked a handrail down the steps from the decking, only because I suffer from vertigo and need something to hold into when going downstairs.

The touring pitches were limited in number but a decent size. The facilities were excellent. Hot showers at all times. The site owners are very at one with nature lots of great environmental protections built into the site. The sandy beach pool was very unusual but very enjoyable with plenty of loungers and cover from the sun. The main pool was covered, a refreshing pool for swimming with limited loungers or shade. Bread & Crosssiants available from reception to be ordered the day previous. A really good site for breaking your journey but not for a long holiday.
Additional pitches for Motorhomes & caravans. The site is in the countryside so fairly quiet.
The pitches are on an incline so quite tricky getting the motorhome level. Decent size pitch easily coped with our 7.5m long motorhome

The personnel is very friendly and helpful. They speak English. The bread service is great (delicious croissants). The pools are great and clean. So nice that there is also a warmed inside pool. The camping is quit silent. Most of the evenings there is entertainment at the bar, but this is far away. You can hear it, but it is okay.
Perhaps a bit less strict at the pool. For example, my 7 year old could not go of the slide by herself. Also toys (bucket and shovel) is not allowed at the beach pool. At the end of the day there is almost no hot water. In the morning the showers are very hot.
We stayed with a tent. The pitches are very spacious and green (lots of trees). The sanitary is neat.
It would be nice if there were a bit more watertaps closer to the pitches. Now we had to go on someone elses pitch for water.

I would recommend this site, it is clean, lots of activities for the Children, The beach/pool area is a fantastic addition, staff are welcoming.

We came to the site in 2019, the new lagoon is good but overall we were disappointed that it was not as good as last time
Animation was too loud, no visiting food truck, no moules frites night, you can’t make a bbq by the lake, animation was repetitive, toilet cleaners noisy early in the morning which woke us up

We stayed for a week in August as a family of 3. Everything feels very new and clean. Maintenance was good. The pools and slides are amazing, just like the photos. The site is clean, washing machines were brilliant, loved that you pay by card! The staff were lovely, Food was tasty, delicious pizza. Order your bread for next day, it’s good! It’s very tranquill during the day. Lovely lake. ( sone mosquitoes, but that can’t be helped)
It was 35 degrees, wish we had booked air -con, cabin too warm, but I think this was unusual weather! The entertainment was good, but went on until 11.30,pm every night. DJ very loud on last night, when we wanted to sleep. It’s very strict about cleaning out shower traps and washing floors by 10am., or a hefty fines. It is normal to wash up, strip bed, empty fridge, and leave clean, but most places have cleaners to scrub floors and deep clean shower traps. I assume there are cleaners as the check in is not until 5pm. We had to walk about 6 times to the car, carrying bags, as no trollies.
Very good condition. Nice and new. Shower was great. Beds were clean, protectors were given, mattress was a bit thin, but they were fine.
We had bought pizza and roast chicken for our first night, and there was no oven! There was an oven in the photo when we selected the cabin. It wasn’t a problem for the rest of the week, but annoying to waste food. Maybe air-con in all cabins?

Les horaires d’ouvertures des jeux d’eau et plage en plein été. Car il y a parfois trop de soleil pour les enfants ainsi que le mini golf et autre activités.. Pour les logements bavé piscine et spa privatif il faudrait une petite cabine pour se changer et permettre de ne pas avoir besoin de rentrer et mouiller tout le mobil home
La cuisine équipée, la chambre parentale, le salon. Et la terrasse couverte avec possibilité de la fermer.
Manque d’une cabine ou d’un petit espace caché pour se changer lors de la sortie du jacuzzi

Très bien à part les parkings éloignés des chalets. L’internet malgré la gratuité pas top, ce qui manque ce sont les animations en septembre. Cela n’empêche pas qu’à l’accueil les personnes sont très agréables.

L’hébergement très bien mais je pense qu’il est temps de rénover les plots sur lesquels sont posés les chalets par endroits ça s’enfonce ça serait dommage qu’un accident arrive

On est pas les uns sur les autres très bon personnels et camping très calme ( on y était début septembre) camping bien pensé pour être en couple ou en famille avec des enfants
Pas de voitures dans le camping alors peut-être prévoir des chariots pour vider les voitures. La wifi et très mauvaise . Prévoir un peu plus de bornes pour les voitures électriques ( il y en a que trois)

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit, et n'avons utilisé aucune des infrastructures proposées par le camping. Nous ne nous permettrons donc pas d'en juger.
Nous n avons pas compris pourquoi nous ne pouvions pas garder notre voiture sur notre emplacement alors qu'il y avait largement la place. Et les bornes électriques qui étaient relativement loin heureusement que nous avions un grand dérouleur

Ensemble très bien tenu, personnel agréable et accessible, pas de voiture au niveau des logements donc moins de bruit et de poussière, plans d'eau accessibles pour pêcheurs, lagon super agréable et même une petite salle de sport

Micro-ondes au dessus du frigidaire un peu haut et avec la porte qui frotte sur le rebord de la tablette
