Camping La Rivière Dorée

Stayed for one night

Lovely campsite with good facilities. Close to supermarket and bouldering venues. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located on a river (paddle boarding) and a canal (bike trail). Close to a train line so good access but some noise.

Kids playground limited to younger kids. Communal washing machines and driers werent functioning during our stay but management offered their own washers. Washing up sinks didn't have very hot water although the showers were great.

My husband and I spent a weekend here in May and stayed in the bubble tent. We loved it! The camp site has all the amenities you need and everything was easily accessible. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Nice pitch, flat, friendly staff, toilets/showers etc were clean.

Hot shower. I had 3 showers, all of which were luke warm which was really disappointing and would put me off coming back or recommending this campsite to others.

Camping clean and organized.

We booked for 3 nights but stayed an extra night. Beautiful area to explore and fantastic campsite. Lovely owner who keeps the place in great shape, very hardworking. Definitely one to keep note of, we will return. 2 motorhomes and 2 dogs travelling together. Great value for money and huge private pitches

Absolute saviour for our travels on way back to Calais, beautiful site , very large pitches perfect. Lovely friendly staff and owners , definitely stay if in the area again.

Only stayed here for one night, but used our bikes for a lovely canal side bike ride into Nemours. Good, clean facilities and pleasant, helpful staff.

Very friendly staff, who accommodated our late arrival. Clean and ample facilities and great quiet location. Very close to a bouldering spot, el troglodyte, which is easy to reach and with lots of great hiking routes around

Peaceful site with easy access to bouldering and mountain biking. Also very easy to catch the train to Paris for the day. Amélie was so kind and organised a cake for our daughter’s birthday. Thank you!

On our last night, the site was full and we needed to queue for a shower but apart from that, everything was perfect.

From the moment we arrived, our expectations were exceeded. Amiel was very welcoming (great french German and English) the site was very well kept and the facilities extremely clean, the location was brilliant with a great walk/cycle path into Nemours well worth a stay at this site
