this campsite is very comfortable because of a good starting point for cycling climbs
because it is very popular it is sometimes difficult to get a reservation

Camp was full and I am happy that I was 'smart' enough to make reservation few days before coming. No wonder, Barcelonnette is perfect location for doing a lot of things. We were cycling and we got a nice booklet with a description of cycling tours at tourist office.
Clean toilets, warm water in bathrooms and under showers (no need for temperature adjustment under the shower, perfect solution), a lot of trees providing shadow at pitch, nice restaurant

The campsite has pretty much everything that you need for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation: very friendly managers, peaceful and relaxing campsite, clean and nice facilities within the campsite, excellent croissants and baguettes that you can pick up every morning in the restaurant, and a very nice restaurant!

We liked the most peacefulness during the whole day and absence of light during the night! And also the spacious pitches, so that despite being fully booked, the campsite didn't felt packed at all!

Absolutely lovely site with fantastic views of the surrounding alps. Food served in the bar was great. Footpath from campsite into town takes around 15 minutes to walk.

We've been coming to this campsite on and off for over 12 years. The site has been well managed over the time and consistently upgraded. There have been changes of management which haven't affected the atmosphere. We particularly like that it has areas with lots of shade, which in the middle of the summer is essential. All in all, a great place to stay. As walkers there is a wealth of information in the campers 'lounge' area, and a huge map of the area. This has been particularly useful, especially with the weather conditions this year meaning a lot of then higher level walks under the snow

Gentillesse et disponibilité des propriétaires, l'ambiance est vraiment sympa. Les emplacements sont larges, on est pas les uns sur les autres. Restaurant super, prix très honnêtes. Bref, j'adore!
Peut-être mieux éclairer le chemin qui porte aux sanitaires. Par endroits c'est un peu sombre.
Je reporte ce que j'ai écrit à la voix précédente. Tout est très bien.

Nous avons passés 4 semaines au mois d'août des vacances super agréables et encore +++ Nous avons été agréablement surpris de la gentillesse, de la disponibilité des patrons du camping qui sont toujours à l'écoute et toujours prêts à répondre à nos attentes. Le camping est situé dans un cadre magnifique, arboré, très calme, à 20 min à pied du centre de BARCELONNETTE, ballade très agréable longeant l'UBAYE. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine pour un plus long séjour.

Un véritable chalet de montagne dans le camping, magnifiquement décoré et aménagé, tout est plus que parfait.

Tout petit petit bémol, un sol avec beaucoup de cailloux, pas simple pour les sardines Mais ça la fait 😊
