Great site, friendly and welcoming staff and great facilities. And the location just a short walk from the lake is perfect. The extra service so you can choose a pitch is ideal and the value for money compared to other sites is fantastic. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in this stunning and quiet corner of France
The older toilet block maybe needs a little refresh but its always clean and functional (and the adjustable temperature in the showers is a real bonus)

The site is actually very nice have to be prepared for the long trek to the beach which feels a lot longer than 300 m when you’re trying to carry paddle boards and equipment down to the lake and the beachfront was very disappointing and that may be because the site has chosen to leave it natural but I would not consider this to be a beach of any description. It was just more like the edge of the wood on the lake so we had no areas particularly for set up to enjoy the day down there. The lake itself is stunning but the wind can carry you very quickly.
A honest description of the trek down to the lake should be details on website.

Staff are friendly but I have never experienced anything like this site. Despite booking in Feb, and speaking and paying for their VIP pick your own spot, and them recommending the plot. I was not able to pick my motorhome or my small tent. They then asked me to move after. To be honest, my family was ravaged with mosquito bites at this site, they didn't even have toilet rolls. At the restaurant the food was ok but they expected us to collect our food and clear our plates. These were not McDonald's prices and I spent circa €170 on a meal. We had enough and left after one night.

Hello, Thank you for highlighting the friendliness of our staff. However, we are truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding your pitch, please note that our policy strictly allows for only one equipment per pitch, which explains why the space becomes very tight when attempting to set up both a motorhome and an additional tent. Regarding our restaurant, it operates on a self-service snack/brasserie style where guests pick up their orders. Indeed, this is quite different from a fast-food chain like McDonald's, as all of our meals are homemade on-site using good, quality products. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das war aber leider alles was uns an diesem Platz gefallen hat.
Die Sanitäranlagen sind total veraltet. Das Seeufer bietet nichts. Es lädt auch nicht gerade zum Verweilen ein. Ist wohl eher ein Hundeauslauf, statt eines Strandes. Mit einem eigenen Boot mag es ja noch OK sein. Ansonsten liegen noch mit Grünspan übersäte Kajaks, und mit Hundekotbeuteln gekrönt in der Prärie rum. Wir haben sofort entschieden am nächsten Morgen abzureisen.

The staff were very helpful and the pitches were a good size and shaded.
The grocery store could be better stocked and the restaurant improved. Also either a little boat taxi or shuttle bus to Bauduen would be a good asset.

It was a long way to the lake and it was hard to find a place to sit on the lake. The camp site for us was too far out as we had to drive everywhere. I don’t think this is made clear on the web site.

The near location of the lake, so that one can have a swim every time one likes.
the santitary building close to the lake has very narrow cabins so you always touch the walls while showering and you have to surround the building to wash the hands after the use of toilets
The pitch was very good, big enough, shady and mostly quiet and not to far from the lake. There are no pitches with lake view!
Our car broke on the route des cretes the 3rd day of our stay and we picked up our things the 5 day but still had to pay for the 7 days reserved although we had to cancel the rest of our holidays and there were only ike 10% of the pitches booked.

Chalet très confortable, propre, bien équipé. Resto et épicerie sympas, y compris l'accueil.
Aucune flexibilité pour un départ tardif même en payant, malgré le peu de fréquentation. Personnel un peu froid à l'accueil.

Même si le calme du camping en septembre donne une impression de faible affluence, notre établissement reste très fréquenté à cette période. Si la fermeté de cette consignes a pu vous donner le ressenti d'un accueil froid, nous en sommes désolés, mais cela ne reflète pas les retours que nous avons habituellement sur le professionnalisme de notre équipe. Pour le jacuzzi, sachez que nos installations sont scrupuleusement entretenues entre chaque départ et arrivée, et vérifiées avant chaque nouvelle installation. En fin de saison, l'épicerie et le programme d'animations diminuent progressivement leur activité en raison de la baisse de fréquentation. Concernant la tranquillité, le calme du camping est une priorité et les nuisances sonores, qu'il s'agisse de bruits nocturnes ou d'aboiements répétés, ne sont pas tolérées. Nos équipes effectuent des rondes et nous invitons toujours nos clients à nous signaler immédiatement à l'accueil ou au numéro d'astreinte tout manquement au règlement intérieur afin que nous puissions intervenir immédiatement auprès des occupants concernés. Locatie mooi, maar in 45 jaar nog nooit zoveel blaffende honden meegemaakt, dag en nacht blaffende, dit kan echt niet. In een tent slaap je er niet doorheen. Er waren meer honden dan gasten op deze camping. Mensen vertrokken eerder vanwege overlast blaffende honden!!!

Wat betreft de honden: huisdieren zijn toegestaan op onze camping en wij herinneren eigenaren er steeds aan dat zij hun dieren onder controle moeten houden om de rust van iedereen te waarborgen. Aarzel niet om eventuele overlast tijdens uw verblijf direct bij de receptie te melden, zodat wij meteen kunnen ingrijpen. Vanwege regelgeving rond de bescherming van de natuurlijke omgeving van het meer is het voor ons niet mogelijk om een steiger te plaatsen. In 45 jaar kamperen, nog nooit zoveel ( blaffende) honden mee gemaakt!!! Dag en nacht ging dat door, er waren meer honden dan gasten op deze camping.
Geen honden toelaten of erop toezien dat eigenaren hun hun opvoeden!!!

L'accès est facile. Une fois arrivée, les surprises commencent : Accueil limite rien à voir avec les échanges courtois par mail. Demande caution de 300 euros ! pour une seule nuit alors qu'on m'avait annoncé 70 euros/mobile home! Logement pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants car les 2 lits simples ne permettent d'accueillir 1 adulte normalement constitué. Nettoyage obligatoire sous menace de voir la caution pas tendue! Accès au lac pratique mais prévoir chaussures de marche et parcours de cross sur la fin...et cerise sur le gâteau, le personnel du snack devrait se reconvertir ...

Bonjour, Il n'y a pourtant aucune surprise. Le montant de la caution est systématiquement précisé dans nos échanges par mail avant le séjour. Elle est identique pour toutes les durées : des dégâts ou un logement rendu sale coûtent le même prix à réparer, qu'il s'agisse d'une nuit ou d'une semaine. L'ensemble de votre groupe semblait d'ailleurs ravi de son arrivée et de son séjour. Le ménage n'étant pas inclus dans la location, le mobil-home doit être rendu propre. D'après nos équipes, vos logements étaient pas si propre que ça pour une seule nuit. Vos cautions vous ont pourtant été intégralement restituées. l'emplacement du mobil home était bien situé à proximité de la forêt et à l'abri des regards
l'équipement était très rudimentaire, le mobil home n'était pas de niveau, et l'accès au lac était plutôt périlleux voir dangereux côté modéré, un gros dénivelé, les plages inexistantes sur ce camping.

Concernant l'accès au lac, il n'est en aucun cas périlleux ni dangereux. Notre site offre des berges sauvages et naturelles, et pour les personnes souhaitant un chemin plus praticable, nous proposons un second accès facile, parfaitement adapté pour rejoindre l'eau en toute sérénité. Il est néanmoins dommage de ne pas préciser le contexte complet de vos échanges avec le reste de l'équipe. Les interventions de nos collaborateurs avaient pour unique but de vous rappeler le règlement concernant votre chien de race Malinois. Celui-ci courait sans laisse et aboyait de manière répétée vers nos agents durant leurs déplacements et leurs interventions de maintenance. Le port de la laisse pour les chiens est une règle stricte, essentielle pour la sécurité, le travail de nos équipes et la tranquillité de l'ensemble des vacanciers. Mobilehome très vieux, les portes de la salle de bain s’ouvre toute seule les tiroirs aussi pas content du tout du frigo, il a fallu que l’on jette quasiment la moitié de la nourriture car le frigo ne refroidissait pas. Sinon camping très calme. Très bien accueilli.
Franchement les portes s’ouvraient toute seule les tiroirs de la salle de bain s’ouvraient tout seul aussi je pense que ce mobilehome peut partir à la retraite il est très fatigué
