Great welcome and friendly staff - if all you need is a single night stop over close to an autoroute then don’t discount this site - just have low expectations if you have stayed at other sites in the Les Castles network.
This site really has seen better days and needs significant investment to bring it up to a standard where €48 per night is charged for a pitch that was supposed to have water and drainage - which it didn’t. It’s such a shame as we guess that the grounds of the Chateaux and the campsite were once amazing.
Lots of space meant that we could keep our trailer hooked up to the motorhome - which for an overnight stop is really helpful The site is really peaceful so sleep was amazing.
Only one shower with warm water, pool needed to be cleaned as lots of flys on the surface. Some showers not working and although clean, the toilets could really do with spiders webs moving more than once a year.

Two night stopover at this lovely chateau. Owner very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Swimming pool area ideal for relaxing.
Great pitch in view of chateau and lovely gardens. Will definitely return when on the same route through France

We love this site. It is quite rustic, so if you prefer modern facilities this may not be the site for you. Having said that, the showers have good pressure and are hot. It is quiet and calm and each plot is under trees. If you are lucky you will see reindeer near the castle which is also lovely to look at. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pool is great on hot days. We were a little disappointed that the restaurant is no longer open but there are plenty of shops and places to eat off site. We plan to go back in the future.
I love it there as it is, but updating the facilities and opening the restaurant again would be great.
The pitch was great. Plenty of shade on really hot days and big with plenty of room for out Motorhome, a car, car trailer and a large day tent.

Convenient for the autoroute.
The bar closed at 6.30, the pool shut at 6pm and the restaurant is permanently closed so there is nowhere to be in the evening. The gates shut at 7pm so no possibility of going offsite either. All this needs to change to be a 4 star site as advertised. When we stayed, hoping for a luxury one night stop over there was nothing. The pool was also closed on Saturday morning till 2pm so we didn’t get a swim at all. The shower block is very tired and not very clean. One shower I tried was cold, the r next was flooded and the third was scalding hot. Come on Castel. This is appalling!

Lovely setting. Beautiful chateau. Lovely big pitches. Was offered sun or shade and chose shade as it was hot. Lovely wood and trees to park beneath. Delightful owner. Always on hand to help. Very charming.
Toilet/shower block could do with an upgrade and separate men’s and women’s toilets. Sadly restaurant was closed but I understand the difficulty in getting staff. Perhaps it could be rented out and run independently?

Stayed for 2 days because advertised was fishing but when we arrived no fishing was allowed so bit disappointing as it hasn’t been removed from the website for a while

Only use this site as a stopover if desperate! Gates are locked at 7 in the evening until 9am. There is no restaurant or bar. The pool has limited opening times. The pitches are soggy as the trees haven’t been cut back so no sunlight cant filter through. The serviced pitches arent, simply blocks of taps and waste and not all are turned on so check before you pitch up. No English spoken. Probably good years ago but certainly not now. I thought Castels sites were supposed to be a good standard?

Great sized pitch in the grounds of this wonderful chateau, we was greeted by a wonderful gentleman with a great sense of humour.

Alles Prima: Ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, schöne und große Plätze, gepflegte Sanitäranlagen, Wildtiergehege und und Pool Wir waren auf der Durchreise und daher nur eine Übernachtung, wir wären aber gerne länger geblieben.
Uns fehlte ein Restaurant in der Nähe.

Het wat prima.Het zwembad is goed. De laantjes vind ik behoorlijk donker met bijna geen zon.Dit is hanndig om te weten als het weer war minder is. Restaurant was gesloten in 2024 dus 5 sterren is te veel.Verder geen extra voorzienningen.Het kasteel is mooi maar is eigenlijk geen onderdeel van camping
Sanitair is toe aan vervanging. Aantal.plaatsen met meer zonlicht creeren. Het is wel een camping waarbij meeste gasten een nacht verblijven en voor so.mige mensen een nadeel. Snelweg in verte kan je snachrs horen maar dar valt weinig aan te doen.

Sanitair is zwaar onder de maat, zeker gezien de verblijfskosten die we betalen. Sanitair is oud, stuk en smerig.
Standplaats was prima, wij hadden geluk dat we een plek met zon hadden. Andere lanen heel donker

Das Ambiente und die Pflanzen und Baumwelt ist einzigartig.
Die Pflege der Pflanzen läuft nicht gut. Teils zu starker Rückschnitt und Reste vom Schnittgut auf den Pflanzen. Es scheint auch nicht das richtige Werkzeug für einen hohen Schnitt zu geben.
Alles drum herum.
Toiletten sind nicht gut. Alle Pissoirs waren ohne Funktion. Ohne Restaurant ist auch schade. Da müsst euch ihr kämpfen

Grand parc très ombragé avec de grand tilleuls. Très calme au mois d’avril.
Les sanitaires sont vieillots c’est dommage par rapport au reste et au cadre du caping.
