This campsite is situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of Brantôme. Just perfect! Stunning riverside setting! So clean! The team are always busy , keeping the facilities spotless! Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools! Lovely cafe/ restaurant on site! Ate there twice. Lovely atmosphere. Huge portions, great food, and reasonably priced. Priscilla and Stefan are fantastic hosts! Friendly, informative, very patient with Brits trying to speak French!! Daily bread and croissants to order! We were so sad to leave here, and will DEFINITELY return! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Fantastic site, all staff were very welcoming, facilities faultless. Visited while in area visiting Brantome and many other beautiful villages and towns in the region. Would definitely stop here again when in the area. The new owners are really nice, ate in the on site restaurant one evening, pizza definitely worth a try. Walked into Brantome in 10 mins

Excellent facilities-a beautiful outdoor pool, and a smaller heated indoor pool. Good clean toilets and showers. Good washing and drying machines. Great location close to Brantome. Can order pizza and bread for the morning.
Water and electric at pitch very handy. Nice view of the river.
Pitch was a little too shaded by trees, and the ground got very muddy.

A warm welcome and a nice few days with the opportunity to walk in and explore Brantôme.
While lovely to pay extra for a riverside pitch, others will just willing walk straight through with no regard.
Good sanitary blocks. Lovely pools. Massive pitch sizes.
People walking over and through our pitch. River swimming was not avaliable during our stay (not the owners fault, and we loved the other pools anyway)

Easy to access to site plenty of time activities
Hot water for washing dishes. water was tepid after 5 minutes of running it didn't get any better hotter.
Large quiet pitch by the river, the only down side other camper walked trough our pitch one walking a dog, the pitch needed fence and or hedge to mark area of pitch, or we should have been told there was access for other campers through our pitch

Stayed here for two weeks in one of the older chalets by the river. Great shady site when the sun was hot, pools were great for all the family. Playground is new and substantial, ping pong tables and bouncy castle were well used. The campsite is about 15min walk into Brantome. We didn’t use the river beach as there was bacteria in the water so not advised at the time of our stay. We would definitely recommend this campsite, the toilet/shower facilities were the best we’ve seen so far on a site in France, including hair dryers. Good campsite layout, felt safe with kids exploring independently.
A bit more communication about kids & evening activities would have been good, it took us a few days to find the posters. Communal composting for veg scraps would be a welcome addition, we have used these on other sites in France.
Great layout, room to easily get dressed and move around in the bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The accommodation was a little tired and maybe needed a bit of updating - vinyl wallpaper peeling off in places, but it didn’t effect our stay.
A door mat on the interior would have been great as our front door or outside mat wasn’t under the canopy when it rained it was difficult not to make a wet floor inside.

The pitches were really nice and it felt secluded, whilst being a busy campsite. The location to Brantôme and the river were excellent. We also liked the games that were provided on one of the nights. It was useful to have a freezer and the bar was nice.
The showers and toilets were a bit disorganised and the showers lacked pressure.

This is the 2nd time we stayed and it was as good as last time. We did travel earlier this year so it was quieter but being such close walking distance to the centre of town, it did not make a difference to us. David and team were very helpful talking to the local garage when our car broke down and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Beautiful green surroundings, lovely pools.
Last time we came, the covered pool was for adults only. This time there were lots of children using the pool. We think it would be good to reinstate this as an adult as that is an attractive feature to have the choice. Only other thing that would be great is to have more, and larger parasols, in the pool area. Especially as there was a heatwave this time!
Lovely setting, spacious home. Had everything we needed although it may be nice to try and get some tv in other languages (although we would not use a tv on holiday but not everyone will be the same).

Excellent site, peaceful yet plenty to keep you going. Fantastic pool. bar and restaurant, excellent staff but best of all is its riverside setting.

We choose the site because of the large, shady pitches; clean facilities; the pool area, the friendly, helpful staff and the location (next to the river & and easy walk into town). This year was our 3rd stay & we hope to come back again in 2026!
Maybe have a set time for toilet/ bathroom cleaning. And open the pool earlier/close it later
Pitch is excellent. We choose pitch 8 as we know it has shade and is very spacious. Important as we have 2 dogs

Stayed here for 2 nights, pitches of a very good size, reception staff very helpful, pool and all the rest of the facilities clean and well maintained. Restaurant open but didn’t eat there, will next time. 10 minutes walk into town , very good for us as we were in a motorhome. Will visit again.
