Chadotel La Trévillière

Location of site is perfect for cycling and beach trips. Quite site with few children.

The toilets are really in need of a refurbishment. Nothing has changed since our last visit in 2019. The Soliel block is very tired. Also more toilets need to be available as many owners of mobiles are using them rather than their own!!!!

Perfect site to relax on and a great place to base yourself to explore the area either on foot or on your bike

Site lovely as always.

We booked at the last minute and although we wanted to stay for two weeks there wasn’t availability. We booked a different site for two weeks and here just for the Saturday and Sunday. After checking ferries we then booked the Friday night at trevilliere as this was better for travelling. When we arrived I asked if we could stay on the same pitch for both bookings. I was told no so we had to move the caravan. The thing is the pitch we were originally on then stayed empty for the next two days. It was very frustrating.

Decent size pitch with power and water, close proximity to town.

3rd time staying last one pre Covid much has changed! Our welcome at reception was any but a welcome after driving 600 Kms. Bruno was not helpful at all made us feel that as British he did not want to deal with us so got another girl to deal with us. Couldn’t find our booking at first did we want a barrier key, yes €20 deposit We were given no bracelets for the pool no Wi-Fi and no other further information apart from the pitch number. This was rectified when Mr Elliott went to complain The departure was as bad

Good size pitches but were over grown with trees. Trees need to be cut back more as they scratch the caravan in the wind. Toilets are kept spotlessly clean as are the general areas of the site. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. . Shops , bars, restaurants are within walking distance from the site . Other towns are 20/ 30 mins in the car.

When checking in we had to park our caravans ( there were 3 caravans traveling together) outside on the main road and go into reception, check in and given a barrier key. This caused major disruption to othe site users as they had to wait outside behind us before they could enter the site. They were not happy at all . A better system of check in would be more effective and save congestion outside the site.

Friendly staff & very clean facilities. Great value for money.

We only had a choice of 2 pitches even though there were a lot of empty pitches that were better. We ended up on a pitch that didn't get much sun.

The toilet at the pool was out of order for the whole of our stay and the shower didn’t work
