We had two and a half weeks camping here (extended family) and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are all very friendly and efficient - one small problem we had with noise was dealt with very promptly. Despite being large, the site is peaceful and the pitches are shady. We would recommend this campsite and will probably return.

Loved the openness of the site, the large pitches, friendly staff and its location to Brissac and the supermarket which are both walkable and you can cycle to either in 5 minutes. Just be aware that the village is charming but doesn't have a lot of choice and the supermarket is closed Sundays.

Great swimming pool, clean toilets and showers, loads of space for outdoor games, really friendly and helpful staff who were able to extend our booking and move us to a shady pitch

this is our second stay at the site, enough to keep the teens entertained in the pool and cycling around and some lovey vineyards nearby.
maybe a one way system over the 2 bridges as access is tight if you are towing a caravan
good size pitches, amenities clean and plentyfull. Bar serves some good food, Lovely helpful staff
arrival says after 12, however office closes at lunch til 13.30.

Site tidy up urgently required. Bushes around the pitches badly overgrown. The flowers are all dead and not cared for as in the past. Weeds growing in brick weave paving A general site tidyup urgently required. I have visited this site for 15 years, it's not being kept to high standard as in the previous visits.
Pitch size.
There is obviously an electrical fault on the bollard for pitch A 11 area! Very dusty my car was filthy after my stay due to speeding drivers on site.

The fully serviced pitches are very good in size , marked red on map. We had problem from day one with the electricity which kept going off for us and 2 other pitches. This was controlled from the reception circuit breaker board, once we had to call the on call to come and switch it back on. We were also disturbed (as well as people on other pitches) by a group of about 10-12 teenagers running around until gone 11 at night making a disturbance around the campsite. This was reported to reception but it just carried on, there was no adult supervision anywhere. The facilities were good.
Improved electrics to pitches for supply to A4 There must be better security at night to ensure respect for people staying at your site.

Electric failures By my own choice we took pitch A4 but being o the corner was not the best. Next time we will try a quieter pitch.

The sanitaires were in need of refurbishment and decoration and a more thorough cleaning regime. The games room was uninviting and dirty.

Our stay at Camping de l'etang was outstanding the reception team, cleaners and the maintenance team were all very kind and polite nothing was to much for them to do. It was a pity we could not stop longer, the toilet facilities, swimming pools and the restaurant were always clean and tidy, the food was really tasty and hot. The restaurant staff were excellant on the occasions we ate there. The pitch we were on was large enough to get our double axle caravan, awning and car on and still have as much space again. The site was spotless no rubbish lying around. We will come again .
The only issue we came across was the bridge over the stream, some of the wood needs replacing, that said just before we left the maintenance team were looking to do some repairs.
Having all the facilities we needed for the caravan in one place was brilliant. There was both sun and shade on the pitch which was nice. The size of the pitch was nice and large to say the least.

A campsite in a rural location just outside the small village of Brissac quince. The campsite is spread over a large area with a small stream & bridge separating the site into 2 halves. The facilities are 'mixed' with two shower/toilet blocks either side of the bridge. Pitches are grassed and are generous in size with electric & water points on the pitch. Great areas for dog walking all around the site and along the stream. The pool area was excellent although the bar is only open in high season.
The site has designated/sign posted a drain at the side of the nearest toilet block as a 'chem waste point' - it is not, it's a drain! Motorhome/caravan toilet cassettes should be emptied at the MSP in the top corner of the site to save embarrassment.
Great size pitch, quite private, although personal choice we probably picked the wrong pitch on this site.

The pitches were huge with water and electric close by, reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
It would have been nice if the restaurant and bar were open, and the wooden bridge onto the site requires looking at.
