Camping Koawa Le Caussanel

We weren’t happy with the pitch we were given so we asked to be moved. They put us on another pitch but then had to move again as that was booked. This was dealt with very well and we were very happy with the pitch we actually stayed on. Very friendly helpful British lady staff helped us.

The toilets were not super clean and ran out of toilet paper

Excellent site Premium lake view pitch with lake view very spacious for our Motorhome Lake and pool area fabulous Restaurant served delicious food with very friendly and accommodating staff-especially Clare Peaceful with spectacular views

The shop could stock a few more goods-especially for those in motorhomes who have no other mode of transport to go to purchase anything

I booked this site last minute as we were travelling from Paris down south chasing the sun. I had booked a service pitch, The location was brill for access to the pool and lake. The only fault I could point out is the electricity. When a kettle was boiled it would trip the electric so had to reset it many times during a boil. The site is large with many things to do. The staff were good but Clare set the bar for the rest she was very pleasant and helped out where she could and coached my French skills I would give her 10/10.

With having small children the animation team went around the site with a loud hailer announcing kids club etc. This would be helpful if you speak fluent French as it was not announced in any other language. I'm sure the Dutch would agree as this is some think they mentioned.

Très bon camping agréable avec un personnel sympathique et efficace très beau cadre avec le lac animation nombreuses et variées.

Coupé un peu de branches pour avoir un peu plus de soleil au niveau terrasse Pas grand monde aux activités moi même et animateur pour le molky Dommage que le jour du concours de pétanque que l on puisse pas commander une pizza à 21h45 surtout que le concours a finit à 23h il faudrait peut-être prévoir un casse croûte cela serait sympa Dommage que le terrain de pétanque ne soit pas allumé en dehors du concours Peut-être faire un accès style petite plage pour aller au lac sans que paddle puisse passer

Personnel accueillant, serviable , camping arboré, bien entretenu, bel espacement entre chaque hébergement, accès direct au lac, sur une berge de plusieurs centaine de mètres.
