Fantastic location, great staff, and excellent facilities.

Great location with access to the beautiful river. River beach is big and never overcrowded. Restaurant overlooks the river and is a nice place to eat. Pizzas were very good. Staff friendly and helpful, even on busy nights. We had great fun on a night when there was a band playing and dancing. The campsite atmosphere was busy and happy - we stayed up at the top by reception which was peaceful. Our mobile home was brand new and lovely - great air conditioning. The staff were very helpful and fast to sort things like when we lost power briefly. Nice dog walks from the site. Would recommend.

Could do with more sunbeds at the pool.

Voor de 2e keer dat we hier waren. Dit keer gekozen voor de meest luxe stacaravan met vaatwasser en airco. De caravan was nieuw in 2926 en de bedden zijn een stuk beter en iets groter dan in oudere stacaravans. Wij zaten in 311 en wij waren met 5 en een hond met 2 auto’s. Dat ging net, maar eigenlijk is het net te krap om 2 auto’s naast de caravan te parkeren. Het overdekte terras is heerlijk, alleen schijnt de zon er in de ochtend en avond onderdoor. Misschien handig om zo’n gordijn op te hangen net zoals sommige huurtenten hebben. Gas bbq is fijn. De rivier is heerlijk voor verkoeling.

Gordijn voor schaduw. Nu moesten we zelf badlakens ophangen voor schaduw op het terras. Meer stopcontacten ipv usb aansluitingen. USB-C is een Europese norm, dus snap ik USB aansluitingen niet. Voelt een beetje verouderd aan.

Wij zijn voor de derde keer op camping Le rocher de la cave geweest, dit keer alleen met onze dochter van 16. Het was een heerlijke vakantie en onze dochter heeft zich goed vermaakt met de andere jongeren op de camping. In het restaurant hebben we een aantal keren heel goed gegeten . Net als andere jaren is de vakantie omgevlogen.

Wederom weer erg genoten van de camping. Dit was de 6 de keer dat we hier verbleven en de 7 al geboekt. Tot volgend jaar !!!!!

loved the facilities. location and ease of everything. the beach the river the pool all add to a fabulous location. the staff are friendly and the restaurant and bar are great and very good value. the cycle free trail to sarlat is great as it is in the other direction. local village has everything you need also

the site has an 11-6 no car movement which is completely disregarded by many and as it has a road running through it to the beach and local aire then traffic can go on til early hours. If it has a no noise/quiet time I dont know when that is. ear plugs are a must here if you want to have any rest at all. the mixed types of accommodation mean that folks used to 4 walls thinks canvas static tents have same soundproofing. We would love to come again but the noise compared to many other sites we have stayed on will make us think twice

We hadden een grote plek, iets meer zon dan verwacht maar dat was op te lossen. De sfeer was ongedwongen en onze dochter had een grote groep gezellige. Pubervrienden ( 14-21 jr) waarmee ze gezellig op het strandje ging zitten. Een keer per week een avondprogramma en het stopte om 12 uur. Prima! Sanitair was meestal schoon en werd prima bijgehouden. Zwembad en rivier zijn beiden erg fijn!

Tijdens volle bezetting nog net iets vaker controle op wc papier en zeep. Makkelijk te verhelpen door een tweede rol op te hangen en een tweede dispenser zeep.

It was a wonderful vacation, the food was good, nice wheather. quiet, things to do for the teenagers.

At night the kids are very loud until very late (past 23h). It would be nice if the kids stayed at the sporting area in stead of the playground.

Leuke camping aan de rivier gelegen. Erg relaxte sfeer, met een mooi terras aan het water. Schoon sanitair en gezellige muziek avonden. Voor de tieners genoeg te doen: voetbaltoernooi, tafeltennis en disco avond! Prachtige omgeving met veel te doen.

Sommige plaatsen met weinig/ geen schaduw. Dus neem schaduwdoeken oid mee.

Not to busy, friendly employees, enough entertainment for the kids (and parents).

Friendly, big Place and Nice river and swimming pool

The river is lovely. The bar/restaurant had enough snack options and space to sit. The pitches are diverse Close to Sarlat Nice vibe on the campsite

The sanitary system didn’t always work properly at the big block.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf dem Campingplatz Le Rocher de la Cave. Der kleine, übersichtliche Platz liegt traumhaft direkt an der Dordogne und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Besonders unsere Kinder hatten viel Spaß bei der Pool-Party. Auch die vielen schönen Ausflugsziele in der näheren Umgebung sind ein großer Pluspunkt – man muss gar nicht weit fahren. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Realy liked it. We have been swimming in the River during our stay, so can't comment on the pool area.

We zaten twee weken in een premium stacaravan, met airconditioning. Dat kwam heel goed uit, omdat het heel warm was. De nachten waren heerlijk met de airco en goede bedden. Mooie schone caravan. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

We hadden een paar keer stroom uitval. Misschien wat tips meegeven aan de gasten, welke apparaten er beter niet te gelijk aangezet kunnen worden.

Everything! Swimming in the Dordogne, eating pizza in the restaurant and enjoying fresh bread for breakfast. The employees are so friendly and speak English very well. The perfect camping!
