We had a great stay here, Hans and his crew ensured our stay was perfect. The bar area is friendly and welcoming, and the beer is cold! A good selection of food available if you want a night off.

The site was very clean, tidy, well maintained with excellent modern facilities. The pitches are very large with good privacy. The site is spacious and peaceful and very calming. Stunning views.

Run by Hans (Dutch) and his partner Delphine, this is a real gem of a campsite and we received a friendly and helpful welcome right from the start, with a personal tour of the facilities and help in choosing the best available pitch. Hans speaks at least three languages fluently (Dutch, French and English) and they both run the site with a warm and pleasant touch. The bar and restaurant facilities were exceptional - far beyond the usual standard that you might expect to find on a campsite. The food was superb and Delphine's Henaritry au Boeuf (Mauritian) and was absolutely delicious.
The pitches with electric hook-ups run down the centre track and all were generously large, with smaller tent pitches behind hedges either nearer to the river Bonnette, or the road, which was very quiet and never disturbed us. The whole site is attractively laid out and has a very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. In June when we were there, the newer toilet block at the far end was closed and the unisex facilities in the reception block coped pretty well with the lowish number of people on-site. Most campers were from the Netherlands and a few from Belgium, which suited us fine.

There were music concerts on the area which lastet untill 6 AM Saturday and another till 1 AM Tuesday. So a good rest wasn't possible those nights

Nous avons pris à la dernière minute une location pour 3 jours et 2 nuits , directement sur le site internet du camping...(plus avantageux pour l'hôte ceci dit) et cela s'est très bien passé. Bon accueil, location dans l ensemble très bien. Il faut juste savoir qu il fait chaud sous une tente et qu il n y a pas de climatisation mais comme on a passé notre temps en vadrouille ousur notre terrasse cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné. Camping familial, c'est très appréciable car c'est calme et reposant. Il y a la piscine, resto +bar, pièce d activités. Patrons et personnel au top!
Trouvé une solution pour avoir de l air frais dans les tentes, éclairage plus couleur de lalumière naturelle dans les tentes. Et pourquoi ne pas mettre une moustiquaire à l' entrée de la tente car il y en a déjà au fênêtre.

Delphine kan erg lekker koken, Hans is een supervriendelijke eigenaar die altijd voor je klaar staat. Lekker bier van de tap! Caylus zelf is niet heel uitnodigend, maar er is genoeg te zien in de omgeving

Luxe kamperen, handig dat je eigen sanitair hebt.
Badkamer zat buiten de tent, waardoor je als je naar de wc moet 's nachts de tent open moet maken (klittenband), wat kinderen wakker kan maken. Maar er zijn zo weinig insecten dat je eigenlijk ook gewoon te tent open kan laten.

Au regard du coût des nuitées, nous aurions attendu : - la possibilité de commander du pain la veille (le camping étant petit, même si les boulangeries ne livrent plus, l'équipe n'aurait pas trop de difficulté à regrouper les commandes et prendre le pain au village tout proche le lendemain matin, comme cela se fait ailleurs parfois) - le chauffage pour la piscine (quand le temps est moyen comme en ce mois de juillet, cela permettrait à davantage de vacanciers de profiter de l'aménagement)
La grandeur de l'emplacement, parfait pour notre tente, et semi ombragé comme nous l'avions demandé. Merci au propriétaire qui a satisfait notre demande.
Non imputable au camping, mais le bruit de fonctionnement de la station d'épuration toute proche, qui se met en route à certaines heures de la nuit, peut gêner cerains dormeurs au sommeil léger. Mieux vaut ne pas être trop près du fond du camping quand on a une tente.

Knusse re receptie/Bar/Restaurant. Leuke eigenaar is van Nederlandse afkomst, dus dat praat makkelijk.
De wasplaats achter lijkt nog in afbouw te zijn. Ik hoop dat de 2 aparte kranen (beetje ouderwets) worden vervangen door meng kranen
De plekken zijn zeer ruim. Lekker zwembad. Lekker eten in het restaurant
De verlichting tijdens de schemering zou eerder aan mogen
