Very clean & well maintained toilets. Hot showers even when busy. You a given a free train pass. The train station only 5 minutes walk. The trains run regularly and always on time and will take you into Chamonix plus other areas. The site has an amazing view of Aiguille du midi. Also free WiFi across the site

Tent pitch. Was nice and spacious spot w a great view.
Not overly private and no accommodation like a bench. Just flat ground to work with. It seemed most people brought their own stuff and preferred this set up, we just came with only a tent though so for us, we would have liked a table and bench to sit at.

Stunning area and campsite was spotless
It’s always a small pain to need to remember toilet roll but has come to be expected at most French campsites. The pitches get quite wet after heavy rain but that is not something that can be changed unless the pitches were not grass

We enjoyed camping here so much last year, we came back! The campsite owners are very friendly, it is very well maintained and the toilet and wash facilities are very clean. You also get free train travel which more than pays back the compulsory tourist levy in the region. It is highly likely we will return again and we thoroughly recommend this site if you are visiting the Chamonix Mont Blanc area.
Wi-Fi service was inconsistent.
We asked for the same pitch as last year which we were kindly given. It has stunning views of the mountains, adequate space for our tent and car and some privacy as it has conifer hedging on two of its boundaries.

Yves and the team were great...very friendly and helpful with advice on where to go/what to do in Chamonix. The site was great....plot was nice and level, showers always hot, toilets clean....and the free train just by the site made it easy to get around the valley.

Nice pitch for big tent and car. Drinking water, hot water in the showers, possibility to buy dinner, playing room where you can make plans or charge your cellphone. Small playground for children.

Very good location, easy access to the Chamonix centre via the trains or buses. Ideal location if you have a dog, lots of woodland walks behind the site. There is a 3m low bridge to go under when entering the site which is a bit tight. Would book again without hesitation.

Vi boede i en lille bitte hytte med opvarming og udendørs køkken. Det fungerede rigtig godt. Når der var koldt om aftenen gik vi i fællesrummet. Der er den skønneste udsigt til bjergene og gratis tog, så man kommer nemt rundt. Det er skønne vandre områder langs banen. Vandet i badet var dejlig varmt.
Der kunne være et skostativ ved badeområdet. Man kunne sikre opfyldning af toilet papir.

The view of mont Blanc and closeness to town and transport routes which brought us back to Les Marmottes. The view from our pitch of the mountains was incredible and it is situated only ten minutes from chamonix Town either by car or the bus or train which stop just a short walk from the site. There is also a lovely footpath along the river behind the site which takes you to chamonix Town. It took us an hour to walk and on a hot day, the walk through the shaded woods is very pleasant with great views of the mountains.. highly recommended

I found Les Marmottes to be the best-managed camping site I've ever visited. Clean and quiet, with an incomparable view of the mountains.
Very clever structure. Glamping offers the outdoors life to a new group of people. I'm nearly seventy, so I appreciated the creature comforts.

You could not ask for a better view!! Clean, quiet, easy access to Chamonix by foot, cycle or free bus
Toilet roll in loo cubicles would be the only (minor) comment.
