Château le Verdoyer

As always a great place to stay. Pitch was the same as last year, as requested, with water and electricity. Bar and restaurant excellent and the team are friendly and helpful. Sadly only one visit to the pool due to the weather but it was clean and plenty of sun beds. All in all exactly as expected Thank you

This is my 5th time staying here. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. It hard to imagine one is staying in a chateau built in the 1400s. The Ausem's family makes you feel like you are at home and the restaurant has an incredible menu with an emphasis on the Perigord.

The campsite is beautifully situated. Nice fishing lakes. We had an empty battery on the day of departure, the staff helped us very well

the facilities are in need of maintenance. The restrooms, swimming pool, soccer field, table tennis tables, etc., are either due for replacement or a thorough overhaul. The shower was cold half the time, and the same story with washing dishes. Nevertheless, we had a great holiday. the animation team was more concerned with themselves than with the children.

Our pitch, 119, overlooked the field and lake a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by whilst listening to the various animal noise. To cool off the pool was excellent with plenty of sun and shade. To finish the day a meal in the excellent restaurant on site, perfect.

Some areas need tidying up and cuttting back.

With the chateau, the lakes, the swimming pools, tennis courts, the views and the layout, this is a lovely site. It has a restaurant in the chateau, a bar with terrace and a well-stocked shop.

Friendly and helpful reception started our lovely peaceful stay. Large pitch with sun, shade, spring blossom and birdsong. Excellent meals in the Chateau restaurant and beautiful countryside to explore.

This site was not huge but had everthing

Can thoroughly recommend this site; helpful owner, well laid out, spacious pitches, good facilities, great restaurant, lots of information about the local area; not much more to add really!!

Situated in a superb location. Lovely staff and great facilities. Ensure you take the opportunity to eat in the chateau.

Lovely, reasonably small and very picturesque site in rural surroundings in Perigord Vert. The site has a really relaxed vibe and is safe and friendly for children. Very friendly staff on site too!

Pool areas need a bit of attention, there were quite a few edges sticking up around the outdoor pool, which were really quite dangerous. The indoor pool was dangerous too as it was so murky, it was impossible to see to the bottom.

Good site with friendly staff. Toilets and showers always clean and available. Lovely pool and lake walk. We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings and the food and service were great.

Fantastic pool, the largest I have ever been in at a site. Really good food and service at the restaurant. Large pitches with mature hedges .

Around the pool needs new floor covering

Het is een prachtige camping in een fantastische omgeving met ruime plaatsen en goede voorzieningen. Je kunt wandelingen maken op het terrein en overal in de omgeving waar het niet zo toeristisch is, en wat kastelen en dorpjes bezoeken. Douches waren heerlijk en de gegeven tijd prima. De rustige relaxte sfeer, de mooie vogelzang, ik kwam eindelijk tot rust. De kookkunst van de kok in het restaurant is echt uitzonderlijk goed. Hele aardige behulpzame mensen. Wij komen zeker terug.

Ma femme et moi avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour et les 2 nuits dans la chambre d'hôtel du château. Le lit était confortable, la douche était magnifique et nous avons pris 2 délicieux petits déjeuners. Nous avons passé de bons moments conviviaux et de bons repas partagés avec les membres de la famille présents. Nous reviendrons probablement séjourner dans un mobil home avec des amis quand on trouvera un moment.

La chambre est grande et simple le cadre est joli et agréable, l'accueil est sympathique

Wij komen hier nu voor de 5e keer, soms voor een aantal weken en nu voor een week om er even heerlijk tussenuit te zijn. Een mooie omgeving, heerlijk eten in het restaurant van het chateau in de avond en genieten van de natuur en visvijvers met karper. De kinderen hebben heerlijk gezwommen en genoten van de glijbaan.
