This is my 6th time at L'oustalet and I will be back next winter for sure. Brilliant campsite

Fabulous facilities all around, washing, drying, dishwashing, dry rooms and lovely swimming pool. lGreat bus service, close to ski lift, had great stay. Chatel a 20 min downhill walk in the evening after dinner and pints 👍👍 Couldn’t recommend highly enough
Pitches were soft….causing muck to get into van Toilet roll dispenser outside cubicles led to wastage…false economy

Excellent family owned & managed campsite. Very good facilities, spotlessly clear and well maintained. Ski bus stops outside the campsite. Ski boot and locker store. Good hot showers. Laundry & dishwash area. The staff are excellent.
Generous pitch size, nice and flat. Electrical hook up points very close. Roads kept free of snow every day.

De camping op zich is prima, schoon en overzichtelijk. gunstig gelegen t.o.v. Chatel en skiliften. De ontvangst is zakelijk koel maar netjes en je wordt keurig naar je plaats gebracht. Na de vakantie wilde ik op de parking nog even 30 cm sneeuw van het dak van camper verwijderen. dit voordat ik de weg opgaat. Hierop kreeg ik van 2 kanten van de directie opmerkingen dit elders te doen. Vond ik niet klantgericht. Helaas.

Hello, Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are pleased to read that you appreciated the cleanliness, layout, and location of the campsite, as well as the spacious pitch. Regarding your visit on 21/02 to clear snow from your motorhome in our parking area, we would like to clarify the situation. Your stay at our campsite ended on 14/02, and you had been staying elsewhere during the week of 14/02 to 21/02. We were therefore surprised to see you return to our parking area solely to remove snow from your vehicle, using campsite equipment (a ladder and shovels) without asking for our permission beforehand. Additionally, while clearing the snow, it was being thrown against a neighboring guest’s car, which understandably raised concerns. Afterwards, you entered the campsite sanitary facilities to fill your water tank before leaving, without informing or requesting permission at reception. This also surprised and upset us. Staying three weeks with us previously does not automatically grant access to the campsite facilities for the remainder of the winter season. The appropriate approach would have been to come to reception and ask for authorization, which unfortunately was not done. You reproach us for not being attentive to our guests; however, we would like to remind you that over the past two years, you requested specific pitches for your stays, and each year we made sure to accommodate your requests. We have been staying at Oustalet for about 15 years. Summer and Winter, We feel part of the family and love the place. We do go to other places but there is always a calling to return. Keep the secret to yourself.
Warm and Clean. Great value for those working on a budget.
It is cosy for 2 adults and two teenage children but we understand this. The disposable bedding could be better...maybe option to hire proper bedding?

Staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. The site is modern and very well kept. The facilities are excellent and immaculately clean. Great pitches. The ski buses stop directly outside both front and back of the campsite giving easy access to Linga and Chatel. There's also a fabulous boulangerie within easy walking distance. We will be back!

Great campsite, close to the slopes. Free shuttle buses easily accessible on either side of the campsite. Lovely facilities very clean plenty of hot water . The site has a drying room and heated ski and boot room. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back in both the winter and summer.

Stayed for Skiing in January...
Reception is open until 7 which was great for us. Very friendly, lots of informnation on the local buses, bakery etc. Facilities excellent, very clean. Swimming pool was a nice surprise.

Fantastic campsite with all the amenities and amazing WiFi .. lovely management team. This is my 5th stay and I will be coming back soon

Het verblijf was heel aangenaam en de eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij en meedenkend. Ze hebben over veel zaken goed nagedacht. Echte professionals wat ons betreft.
Opbergruimte voor de skies verwarmen. Is namelijk niet verwarmd. De ruimte staat apart van de skischoenen. Kan dit eventueel in 1 en de zelfde ruimte komen. Een kast per camper/caravan reservering waarin de skies, ski stokken en schoenen veilig opgeborgd en verwarmd kunnen worden.
De plek was prima en ruim genoeg voor onze 4x4 camper van 6.89 meter. De stroomvoorziening was prima 10 watt ampere. Lekker dichtbij de wasvoorzieningen en de internet verbinding was goed.

2nd time we’ve stayed here and once again it was excellent. I highly recommend this site. They cater for all your needs and owners are very helpful and accommodating. There is a boot and ski room drying room and an excellent swimming pool. Ski bus picks you up directly outside the site. Will definitely be returning

Nothing bad about the site. It’s lovely. The only thing we didn’t like was to do with walking uphill into town with no pavements.

Friendly, warm and easy access for skiing. We have stayed in our van and in a mobile home. Would definitely recommend.
